Apr 5, 2012i have been trying to update my phone but it always sticks on "Smart Card Reader Option 1 of 1" and doesn't do anything after that so i have to always stop it.

Sep 14, 2012i have a blackberry curve 9360 and it has started freezing every 5-10mins and its very difficult to switch it back on.

Aug 8, 2012Since updating the device software on my curve 9360 a few weeks ago I am having constant freezing issues (black sqaure with white line). Sometimes unfreezes after a minute and other times have to either although shift delete or if that doesnt work reseat battery. Up until te device software upgrade phone was running great with no issues.Currently : 7.1 bundle 1133 (v7.1.0.336 platform 9.6.0.51)Have tried although l g l g and clearing logs daily.Have tried full restore including creation of new blackberry account synced with phone in case of issue transfer.Doesn't matter whether in emails, whatsapp, bbm or just taking a picture.Current free memory on device: 1360053800 Bytes and all apps up to date.

Nov 5, 2012I have been trying to update my 9360 to OS 7.1 since last night, but I could neither back up my phone nor update, the connection is alright and it has already started the backup/upate process, but it kept stopping at a certain point, and GOT STUCK, I had no choice but force remove the USB to solve it, anyone had experience like this? and know how to solve it? or how can i get tech support from blackberry?

Oct 23, 2012my 9360 kept rebooting itself yesterday. i looked up another forum and i worked out that it was because it needed a critical software update.the update itself took all night, then when i woke up this morning, it asked me to 'verify the data' and then it went on to 2 loading bars, with the bottom one saying 'overall backup process' and it has now stopped dead on 13%, with the top bar saying 'social feeds'i have tried turning it off/on again and again,i have tried rebooting it a couple times by taking the battery out.it still turns on and comes to this screen where it does not respond to any buttons (apart from lock, but it goes black and then comes back on again within about 10 seconds)

Jun 13, 2012My original problem was that every time I took a picture the camera app would close automatically and bring me to my homescreen and that when i tried to open my camera roll the same thing would happen. I had turned my phone on and off several times to no avail and finally got around to restoring it. It has restored and on itunes, it asks if i want to restore it to factory settings or from a previous backup, i chose from a previous back up and now my iphone shows a black screen with the apple logo and the little bar underneath signifying how much has been restored from my backup... no error messages are coming up but it has been frozen/stuck in the same spot for 20 mins.I dont know if I'm just being impatient or if it is freezing up.I have tried to completely restart the restore but it just continues to freeze up in the exact same spot.I havent tried to restore it to factory settings as i would like to keep my contacts and photos if at all possible...

Mar 30, 2010I am currently doing a backup and restore on my Windows 7 Laptop (see other thread i started for reason.The tasks have been running fine, until the restoring process/task where it is currently on Task 12/12. However, the task seems to have not made any further progress after approximately 55% of the overall restore process, and 80% of Database: BBGroups. there is no option to cancel (its greyed out) and the yellow bar at the top is telling me not to disconnect the device as the device/data may become unusable if disconnected before the process finishes.
The overall process was quick (approx 15 minutes) until the above it's taken over an hour now and it doesnt seem like it will ever finish.

I have taken the first one back to the shop and they couldn't get over it either so swapped it for another one. Dec 1, 2012My daughters phone used to connect as USB and you could see her phone from the computer (iMac, Windows). Now when she chooses USB it does not prompt for password, and only connects for charging as if she chose Charge Only.
I don't think it's the computer, same effect on our iMac and 2 Windows computers. Is there a setting in her phone which needs to be changed, or some software update (it seems to be fully updated)

Jun 1, 2012I'm from Canada and every time i try to update my os to 7.1, it will not let me do so. It says I need to, but when I try to, my phone disconnects after starting to back up. I tried just backing it up manually, and again it says it disconnects. It always disconnects while it says backing up social feeds. I have a mac and use the blackberry desktop software, which I have uninstalled and reinstalled (updated) more than once.
