May 8, 2012I try to call and the person receives the call but doesn't hear anything. What's happen in my phone is that after the call the window freezes and to turn it off I need to restart the phone. I am not receiving calls either.

Jul 15, 2010I have the Torch (9800) OS version: 6.0.0.668.I've had it for just over a year without problems but recently it will freeze to the point where I have to do a battery pull because it won't resolve the issue otherwise. Even then sometimes it doesn't come back on. It will slowly flash red (LED light) and the screen will remain black.It's done this twice where it won't turn back on at all. Eventually it does but the last time it did this, it didn't work for 2 days before coming back on (of it's own accord). I updated the software when it finally came back on as I was told it could be a software issue so I now have the OS version stated at the top of this message as opposed to 6.0.0.600.

Dec 27, 2010I was having probs with phone totally freezing on a call; wouldn't turn off or anything. So it ran out've battery and i did the upgrade software thing from my computer. However, i didn't back up files as phone was new so didn't have anything on it and didn't think was necessary but now non of the phone works.

May 11, 2012For the last couple of months, my iphone freezes in any application, causing me to turn my phone off completely. It's happening more frequently, and is quite irritating when I need to call someone, and frozen in email, or whatever I've made all the available updates, etc. I've also taken very good care of my iphone, so shouldn't be a damage issue at all.

Aug 29, 2014phone app keeps freezing and the voicemails i receive cannot be listened to as the play button is greyed out. I have just started this in the last week for no obvious reason.Â
I turn it off and on and I am on the latest software. It is a real pain as I have work calls coming through to this phone and I can't hear the message without dialling into my voicemail manually a la 1990.Â
I have deleted all my old voicemails and deleted voicemail but no change.

Jul 1, 2010Where suddenly the screen just does not register any touch? I find this happens on the lock screen occasionally, when i try and slide to unlock, nothing happens, its like the screen is not detecting any actions. I usually end up having to hold both power/home buttons until the phone restarts because even the 'slide to power off' won't work.

Mar 20, 2012I have a iPhone 4 and it froze and when rebooted it stays at the Apple logo screen. I have tried to put the iPhone in DFU and all I can get it to do is go into recovery mode (Shows a picture of iTunes with USB etc..)When I press the Sleep and Home button, the iPhone just goes of for a second and then powers back up and again, stays at the Apple logo. I have some pictures on my iPhone that I MUST get off before I allow it to be recovered..

May 23, 2012I have some troubles with my Iphone 4. Factory Unlocked. I just updated my phone to 5.1.1 and it started to freez. I can`t use it. Because when i press home it just freeze and i have to restart it by Home+Power. But it doesn`t help because after restart it freezing again. I tried to restore-no result. Jul 4, 2012I work in a maximum security facility, which just banned cell phones within the perimeter, so I have to leave the phone in my car while I'm at work. Leaving the phone at home is not an option as I work 70+ miles from home, and need the phone in case of emergencies or other communication. Buying a less expensive phone also is not an option, since I already have this one and love it! What are some suggestions for keeping the phone from frying in the summer and freezing in the winter?

Aug 21, 2014I've had my iPhone 4S for 2 years in October. It worked fine (besides the sound, but that's another issue). About a month ago, it started to act funny. It would stay on a certain battery percentage (making me believe it was okay and I didn't need to charge it) until all of my apps froze and the screen eventually going black. I called tech support for my carrier and they put me on the right track-- resetting it. That worked for a little while, but it only froze up like that every so often. A few weeks ago it started getting worse; I had to reset it from 5-8 times a day. I went to my carrier (which, by the way, was two hours away) and they told me there was nothing they could do until I restored and updated the software. I went home and did just that, but it changed nothing! The wifi won't connect, the apps and battery percentage freezes. What is going on? Should I try contacting my carrier or should I tough it out for two more months until my contract runs out? Is there anything I could possibly do to get my phone working again?
