When I go on BBM a message pops up "Blackberry Messenger faield to register with the BlackBerry Messenger service. Registration is necessary to use the features of this application. Please ensure your devise time is correctly set, open the My Profile screen and check the Blackbery Messenger registration status."
i have tried the host routing table, resetting the phone any everything, its just not working.
I keep getting the error message: Messenger failed to register with the Blackberry Messenger service. I have checked the dates and also rebooted by removing the battery for a while.

However a battery pull seemed to fix this. The past couple of days I have had problems with my BBM. I can message away fine until suddenly it stops working. Initially the red timer appeared and nothing was sent. Now a tick appears but it takes hours for the message to get delivered. The problem goes away temporarily and I can message fine only to return again.

The seller told me that the unit was free from Sun Cellular and was sell to him buy the previous owner. The unit is already openline/unlocked already. I'm using a smart sim card but when I tried to register my unit to [url]... I got an error that my unit is suspended or deactivated. I can use Wifi via hotspot browser but when I tried to use a facebook or twitter application I got an error "Your are currenty on the data plan service, contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan". I think the previous owner (which I don't know) is not paying his bill. Now I contact suncellular and as per them when the owner not paid their bills they only block the sim card and not the phone.

Please use your device to access BlackBerry Internet Service" why does it say use your device to access blackberry internet service :S i go on orange bis on my phone and it just says regiser ur email i make a new @blackberry.orange.co.uk account..i enter that on the laptop and it still says the same thing.

I've done the whole Host Routing Table routine several times and each time I get a message saying my device has been registered but when I try to add an account I get the same 'Device not registered' message. I've called Tmobile and they say all's fine at their end and they have no clue what to do next.

As checked in various forums, I did follow KB00510- to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network.
I also tried to follow KB05000 but couldn't becuase I was never able to set any Internet service e-mail account. I also tried following KB02830 - sending the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service but couldn't because I don't see an option of choosing Internet mail account. When i click setup-> email accounts, it automatically takes me to enterprise account. I also tried doing it from provider's website (url...) but the dialogue box asked me repeat the step of registering at Host routing table, which i already did earlier.
I just got a Blackberry last week and there's no option in the email set up for a personal email address add, only for a business one. how to change this?

I recently received a message telling me to validate my e mail address but, despite my and vodafones best efforts, we have been unable to get the phone to validate my e mail password (I know I am typing the right password, because I can access my e mail on my home computer with the password). I sometimes get the message that I have successfully validated it, but after the 20 minutes or so has passed, I get the same message as before, asking me to validate my e mail.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently got myself a 9360 and I love the phone. I also upgraded the unit to 7.1.0.336 and it works great except one thing. I cannot seem to send or receive emails using my corporate account. The account uses BIS and I never really had problems with it when I was using my older 9300. When I migrated to the new phone using phone switch, the corporate email doesn't work anymore. Whenever I would send an email, a red X appears and it says General Failure. My Gmails work fine. I tried a number of batter pulls after I deleted and recreated the account on my phone and still nothing. I even tried resending the service books and still nothing. I even have full access to my BIS through my subscriber and recreated my email there and still nothing.

They both worked fine up until yesterday, but then the hotmail one started to fail.Whenever I try to send an email with this account I get a red x and it says general failure. I can still recive messages, just not reply or send new messages to anyone with this account.My gmail account is still working completely normally. I have not made any changes to my phone except for an upgrade of the twitter app. Also I've tried taking out the battery and sim card out and rebooting.
