Sep 30, 2012i have just got a sceond hand bb and it dint have appworld on it so when i tryed to download it it came up with this 910 application authorization failure?

BB Bold :: 910 Application Authorization Failure?
Dec 5, 2012I have tried to install some applications (e.g. Blackberry App World) but get the 910 Application Authorisation Failure error. If I were using my Blackberry in a company using a BES then the knowledge base suggests that there is an IT Policy in place preventing the application from being installed. However, I am with O2, synching to the likes of Google and BT Yahoo, using a BIS. Just in case there is a policy, I have viewed it in Options > Security > Security Status Information and it says:
No Disallowed Applications
No Policies

May 6, 2012Yeah i know there's a guide to unflag the setting ''disallow etc etc''. from the enterprise server managment. My issue is that i don't have a Enterprise server!
I just bought a blackberry bold 9700 second hand, had a couple of problems with connections but now fixed them all (EVERYTHING works fine, facebook connects, twitter aswell and my email works fine). I just have this ''910- authorization failure '' problem for EACH single application that i try to download either via the browser either from the App World. The only things i have installed got installed within the update and therefore not manually.

It keeps saying Authorization failure. I know the person didnt steal it becos he had it on T-mobile contract before he passed it on to me but now i use it with a pay as you go T-mobile sim.

Sep 30, 2012My Blackberry Bold 9900 keeps giving me "call failed" and ''authorization failure" messages when trying to make outgoing calls.Only if I reboot the phone, the call goes through. My network provider already replaced the first bold 9900 with the same problem but now that it is happening to the new phone, I think something else is causing the problem.

I thought I could use it anywhere I want using the orange/t-mobile signal, but apparently I need to be within 300 ft of a router, or in a wi-fi hotspot zone. I recently received a message telling me to validate my e mail address but, despite my and vodafones best efforts, we have been unable to get the phone to validate my e mail password (I know I am typing the right password, because I can access my e mail on my home computer with the password). I sometimes get the message that I have successfully validated it, but after the 20 minutes or so has passed, I get the same message as before, asking me to validate my e mail.

May 21, 2012I recently got myself a 9360 and I love the phone. I also upgraded the unit to 7.1.0.336 and it works great except one thing. I cannot seem to send or receive emails using my corporate account. The account uses BIS and I never really had problems with it when I was using my older 9300. When I migrated to the new phone using phone switch, the corporate email doesn't work anymore. Whenever I would send an email, a red X appears and it says General Failure. My Gmails work fine. I tried a number of batter pulls after I deleted and recreated the account on my phone and still nothing. I even tried resending the service books and still nothing. I even have full access to my BIS through my subscriber and recreated my email there and still nothing.

Jul 8, 2011I have two personal email accounts feeding my Blackberry. One is a hotmail account and the other is gmail. They both worked fine up until yesterday, but then the hotmail one started to fail.Whenever I try to send an email with this account I get a red x and it says general failure. I can still recive messages, just not reply or send new messages to anyone with this account.My gmail account is still working completely normally. Since then it wont work, or if it does it only stays working for 3 minutes at the most. I constantly turn it off/on, take the battery out etc but within a minute of it turning on getting my network it goes off wtih an error code of either initialisation failure / sim error / sim card error 3 etc etc

Jun 4, 2014I'm tyring to backup my iphone in itunes. Itunes says I must first authorize the PC I'm on to give it authorization for Appps otherwise all the apps on the phone will not be backed up. I select "Authorize" enter my apple id and get a message that the computer is now authoized. When I press ok the next message I see is the original one saying the computer needs to be authorized.
