View 4 Repliesi recently have purchased a bb 9360 and im tryin to connect to my home wifi but the error msg comes up sayin failed to associate with network. ive also tried it at my other family members house on there wifi and gettin the same msg, i use 2 hav a bb 8520 and had no problems conectin to the wifi. i live in a area with poor signal so i use the wifi for bbm, internet etc...

I have set up the details including the SSID and key/password but each time I try to connect it staes "Failed to associate with the Network".Vodaphone say it is a fault with the phone or my home internet provider but my hubby has a Blackberry and has no problem connecting his to our home internet. I have specifically got this phone for my teenage daughter who uses BBM and the internet mainly whilst in the house and as she can only use the inbuilt Vodaphone 250mb data allowance she will hit her limit in next to no time. Really need the phone to connect to the house internet.Have tried turning off, taking battery and sim out and starting up again but it doesnt help.
View 5 Replies View Relatedi recently brought a bb 9360 and ive bin lookin and theres not just me either havin this problem, every time i try 2 connect to my wifi the msg failed to associate to the network keeps poppin up, ive had no problems with my old fone 8520 conectin to the wifi its only this fone, i am on the latest os7, i live in a poor signal area and im always usin the internet and bbm so i realy need 2 connet to my wifi.

Manual setup
Static IP
Phone restore
Battery removal
Sim removal
Router Restore
So, today, and purely for research purposes went to McDonalds for lunch and tried their Wifi (had a quarter pounder with cheese with sprite for those interested) and just like back at home, connects first time then drops then "failed to associate with network".I am on Orange with the Blackberry unlimited internet add on and everything worked fine with my pearl.Have tried Orange tech but , well the less said the better there.
My Blackberry Storm 2 has been working perfectly last week. I was able to connect to any wifi services without any trouble. But last night, we bought a new Wireless Router and things started to get really frustrating. When I tried connecting to the new Wireless Router it was detected but gave me an error message "Reason: failed to associate with the network." I do not understand why and how it happened. So, I went back to using the old Wireless Router and it showed me that same error. I tried to Hard Reset (removing the battery) and also I tried to Restore the Wifi Settings to Default but it did not work.

There have been no changes whatsoever in the wifi. I tried several times the solutions posted on various forums. Today I even reset to the manufacturer's setting - nothing.

School's instruction for mobile devices to connect is simple, simply scan and connect with the case-sensitive WEP.I checked and checked and checked i have entered the right WEP, theres just no go.anyone else experieced this? how do I solve this?

The message 'Failed to associate with network' appeared when I tried to connect. Then it managed to connect to the WiFi itself without me interfering. However after 1 week it went back to the original situation.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BlackBerry Bold 9650 that i am using for with wifi so that i can still use my bbm i was working fine until 2 days ago and hasnt been a ble to connect to the wifi that i am using i can connect to other hot spots but not the one in the building that i live in i am using a LINKSYS WRT120N router. I have had our adminstrator reset the router and the modem. I have also tried taking the the battery out of my Blackberry for an extended period of time, and I have also tried to manually connect to the network and i still get the same error. If it helps i am in currently deployed and i dont have service with verizon i was just using my wifi connection.

But I change it to new sim card and purchase the BB unlimited social service, I can connect to yahoo messenger, facebook, blackberry messenger same as the previous one but I cannot connect to wifi at home, I try manually as well. I call the network (etisalat) they ask me to delete the wifi from service book then reboot the blackberry I did it 2 time,& still not connected.
View 3 Replies View Relatednew Torch is unable to associate with my work wifi network when it uses WEP password. If I change wifi network to WPA password, then it works (But I cannot change it because the network is unsing WDS and it isn't compatible with WPA).
My old BB Pearl 8120 works fine with same network using WEP password. Therefore, what's happenign with Torch wifi?. Is there any wifi upgrade for Torch? For your information, the wifi router is an SMC Barricade-N (SMCWBR14-N)
I have tried almost everything. I'm desesperate. Torch is giving connections problems also with my wifi home network and also with my bluetooth handfree car system. If there isn't a solution soon I will have to change it for another mobile.

View 3 Replies View RelatedTo start I have a pay as you go plan with At&T. I purchased a HTC One (M7) unlocked on Amazon. The phone has the verizon software but i'm using it with AT&T. Everything works fine but MMS. When I got the phone I set up the APN and was unable to send or receive MMS (yes they are part of my package). After talking to various people we determined that I needed data in order to send and receive MMS. So i changed my plan and added data, but i'm still unable to get MMS. I can get on the internet with my data but it won't send or receive. It's showing the EDGE network and after trying to send about 30 mins later I get a message saying generic network failure. Any way to fix my MMS? or even get my phone on 3G and see if that prevents it from timing out which I assume is what it is doing?

This is a very frustrating problem with no evident fix. Why is Apple seemingly not interested in resolving this issue?

It's all so confusing, my contract says I have internet, and I just rang up to confirm it... it's true but....How do I use it? I thought I could use it anywhere I want using the orange/t-mobile signal, but apparently I need to be within 300 ft of a router, or in a wi-fi hotspot zone. Not very helpful if I don't meet those criteria is it.When I try to use GPS it says " Network failure - This application requires a working data connection. "

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use standard 3.5mm jack headphones on my curve. However for a start they don't seem to fit very well (they don't go all the way down). Secondly when in all they way all I get is a kind of a low clicking noise. If I pull the connector out slightly I can just about get it to play but the sound quality is poor. Does this ring any bells? Same thing happens with multiple headphones and whether I'm playing an MP3 or using the radio. The OS is 7.10 bundle 1319.

My phone is currently completely dead, and has been for 1 day now and I have tried multiple chargers. The red light comes on for max 10 seconds and then it turns off, as if the phone is not charging anymore.

Location services are on and GPS is set to Device, I refresh the GPS and it fails to locate. Doesn't matter whether I'm inside or out, it times-out and fails.
I've tried the GPS diagnostics and it just says the same thing; that it couldn't find my location. My network supports GPS as I used it on my old 9300, so I'm a little stumped.
Also, BlackBerry maps refuses to search, just saying 'Unknown Error'. Possibly connected?
I bought a curve 9320 with which i got a 6 months free Black berry services ( BBS).For the activation of BBS i have sent a msg BBSFREE at 121 but my services is not activated.After calling in customer care they told me that they have activated my services on their hand and told me that you will have to register your phone to avail services.I donno how to register phone to activate my BBS.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm having issues pairing my device (9320) with my new Blackberry Playbook. The software on my phone is 7.1 Bundle 2039. I can pair both devices together through Blackberry Bridge but it shows that I've recieved new emails but doesnt let me open them.
I paired the Playbook with a friends phone (9360) which operates on a different system 7.1 Bundle 1133. And this works fine and we can access the emails and the device and playbook work fine.
