Apr 13, 2011This phone was pasted down to me December last year. Everything was working perfectly until last week. I cant call or text nor can i receive calls or texts. It keeps saying Authorization failure. I know the person didnt steal it becos he had it on T-mobile contract before he passed it on to me but now i use it with a pay as you go T-mobile sim.

Apr 12, 2012I just bought a used blackberry 8520 from a mobule service centre because my bb 9000 was stolen . thisphone has some problem everytime I reboot the access bar doesnt reach to end till its not dissconnected , and once I start the phone everytime there is a message SUPPLEMENTARY SERVICE ERROR : SYSTEM FAILURE . I cannot activate my BIS , my BBM. WIFI and other features like sms, normal phone is working perfectly fine though.

Apr 3, 2011my phone experiencing some faults with the keypad, one minute all the keys are working and the some of then such as te 'o' and the 'L' and the 'G', i have tried everything to try and fix this problem and it still persists, i do not want to have to have replacement if this problem can be fixed i would be very happy, i ahve tried rebootin my phone by taking the battery out while the phone is switched on and this still does not work

Jan 2, 2012My daughter dropped her blackberry curve 8520 and now the keypad buttons don't work, everything seems ok with the phone as it boots up ok and she can move the cursor ok but can't click on anything and none of the buttons do anything. She's using the 'A' button to lock the keypad at which point the screen goes off (as I believe it should) and then after a minute or so, it unlocks itself and the screen comes back on.

Mar 7, 2011I got a BlackBerry Curve 8520 at work and for some reason my BIS is not working, it says not connected and I cannot manage to fix it. The below is what I did so far.
1. Verified with my carrier (MTEL.BG) that I have all necessary data serivices enabled.
2. Restarted the handheld a couple of times (battery pull and waited 30 secs).
3. Resed to factory settings.
Tried to register my device using Host Routing Tables (the table is empty) but nothinh happen.
Called Tech support and they attempted to register my devide without success. They said that probably my handheld have a defect and to replace it.

When I go to plug it in after getting home it will not charge or even lite up when plugged in. I have tried plugging it into the wall and the computer but I get the same reaction from both and that is nothing. I have tried to pull the battery and it is still the same.
