Can't seem to find in the options how to enable the lighting for the keypad of my BB Curve 9300 3G model. Can't type anything in the dark because i can't see the keypad due to absence of back lighting.

When i turn the phone on there's no lighting behind the keypad, however the main lcd is fine. View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased my first Blackberry, the Bold 9930. I really love it. My previous mobile was an Apple 3GS. The only real thing I miss about the 3GS and find lacking in my new 9930 is the Bold's lack of an onscreen keypad for dialing phone numbers. The Bold's keyboard is great for typing on but is nowhere near as easy to dial phone numbers as my iPhone 3GS was. Adding an onscreen keypad to the Bold, similar to the one on the 9810 would make the Bold much more user friendly. Especially too people coming over from the iPhone or android phones.

Ive notified the people who sold it to me, but after a month later it totally stopped working. So ive sent my blackberry to a HK Blackberry office, Beijing Blackberry office. They still couldnt get my phone fixed. I don't want the keyboard light to turn on when I'm using the device because it wastes battery. And my second and most important question is, why is the battery life so poor? My curve battery get's me through one day, and all I do is SMS, facebook, and IM. I don't use it 24/7 during the day either. I've had to charge it every night! However recently I've been noticing a problem with the charger in which I've had to wiggle it around to make the phone charge. However I tried it with the USB cablbe before and the USB slotted in fine and did not seem loose at all. I guess it's the charger that's broke? Perhaps the cable is loose or torn inside or something?Should I just get a new charger?
