View 1 RepliesMy blackberry has all of a sudden started shutting off and rebooting itself. It does this very often and is driving me crazy because of how long it takes to turn back on.I just replaced the battery about a month ago because the one I had died.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been using Curve 9300 for over a year now. This BB is given by my organization and is locked to Vodafone India.I installed a update to some app a few days back and after installing it the BB asked me to reboot to install the app. I clicked yes and since then it does not reboot. It just shows the red default Vodafone screen (BB being locked to Vodafone India). tried removing the battery. Didnt work. Tried to drain the battery and recharge it before rebooting but didnt work either. The strangest part is that if I remove the SIM card the BB boots perfectly but is practically useless w/o the SIM card.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI notice my capital letter button (the one on the right hand side) stuck time to time. If I press it, it goes away, however it comes back a few minutes later. I thought at first, that my joystick doesn't work, but it's this thing. I took the blackberry apart and even then it's doing it. Also the joystick is playing up. Now it's not doing anything.

I have a Blackberry Torch 9800, and it was working fine. Then it switched itself off randomly and my immediate reaction was to reboot it. However when I done this, my phone froze, literally 1/10th into the line, so it's still very close to the beginning of the reboot. I tried rebooting the phone again and it freezes at the exact same place each time.I have tried leaving the battery out, letting the Blackberry reboot overnight, connecting it to my laptop and nothing has worked.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a 9300 curve since august and love the phone. However recently I've been noticing a problem with the charger in which I've had to wiggle it around to make the phone charge. However I tried it with the USB cablbe before and the USB slotted in fine and did not seem loose at all. I guess it's the charger that's broke? Perhaps the cable is loose or torn inside or something?Should I just get a new charger?

View 1 Replies View RelatedReboot complete (main screen/carrier logo) First Time and Device Usable Second Time
Minutes:Seconds
3:13 - 3:37 Custom Theme
3:11 - 3:25 Default Carrier Theme
Theme's have no real effect from what I've noticed. Unless you have a really big gfx intense theme.
3:13 - 3:23 Password
3:13 - 3:25 Password + wallpaper on mem card
7:09 - 7:21 "Memory Clean Turned on" + Theme + password + wallpaper on mem card Re-test (that was way too long)
6:36 - 6:45 "Memory Clean Already On" + Theme + password + wallpaper on mem card.
3:23 - 3:45 "Encrytion Media Card Only" + BerryWeather + Theme + password + wallpaper on mem card + Mem Compression Memory Clean and Encrytion (Device Memory Enabled) either one of those on will increase reboot time by atleast 2-3mins. When enabling Device Memory encryption Memory Clean is automatically turned on and can't be disabled. So in my testing reboot time was between 6-7mins. My current config setup is that last test. Since Password is on, I see no need for Device Memory encryption to be on. Without the password you can't gain access to device files. ZonaSnap , QuickLaunch, Blink all preloaded during each test. 8 Email Accounts, about 80 read emails, and 100+ sms, 41 apps anyone that is getting 1-2min reboot please post your settings.
How much are the fast reboot or reboot/kill software really needed on ICS?im finding that even on a large exclude list there are still apps that run, that i dont really need and eat up some of the interal memory.is there any other way other than rebooting all the time to get rid of them? Will rebooting drain more battery energy?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am experiencing very frustrating battery issues on my BB Curve 9300. I bought the device a month ago and had a brand new battery installed in no later than yesterday.Battery life is about 3 to 5 hours at the very best, whilst I am not using any specific 3rd party application. In addition, the "clock" apprears on a very frequent basis, slowing the system dramatically.I do not have any files saved on the media card ... Wi-fi has been disabled already as have Bluetooth. LAt, connection the mobile network is fine so I do not believe it has to do with the device desperately seeking connection.PS: I am based in France with SFR being my provider.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBasically, the phone went completely dead, despite being fully charged. At first there was no response from the phone whatsoever and this went on for about 4 hours. I was out of the house and had no charger so assumed that maybe the battery had run out. However, after about 4 hours the Blackberry began behaving very weirdly. Every so often, the red LED light comes on for about 10 seconds and then it tries to switch on (without me pressing a button). The reboot bar comes up, but when this is only about 5-10% full the Blackberry crashes and does exactly the same thing again, crashing at the same point. Sometimes it can do this continuously and sometimes it will go completely unresponsive again.
Removing the battery makes no difference, because when I put it back in it simply behaves in the same way.I tried launching a software update through BB Desktop to remedy this, but half-way through the programme said that it could not connect to the Blackberry, even though it had previously been connected.
My blackberry won't turn on after I rebooted it, but red light keeps flashing .
View 5 Replies View RelatedLast night, my blackberry was freezing up, so I took the battery out to reboot it. I fell asleep with it rebooting on the charger, but when I woke up around eight hours later it still wasn't finished rebooting. The white line was only about 3/4 of the way full and it wasn't moving, so I took the battery out to reboot it again. It was going fine until it reached that spot again, and stopped about 3/4 of the way full. I took the battery out for an extended period of time and tried again, but the same thing happened
