I notice my capital letter button (the one on the right hand side) stuck time to time. If I press it, it goes away, however it comes back a few minutes later. I thought at first, that my joystick doesn't work, but it's this thing. I took the blackberry apart and even then it's doing it. Also the joystick is playing up. Now it's not doing anything.

When I receive email on to my blackberry bold, the letters are changing to mix of capital and small letters randomly and is difficult to read. Most of the emails generated from outlook and received into a corporate email account through blackberry email.

I do know the backspacing and retyping trick, but I want to know if anybody has ever found a way to keep it uncapitalized automatically these days. I know it's capitalized for grammar, but I still want it to be uncapitalized. I just see TEXTING differently than an e-mail, essay, reports, etc.
View 9 Replies View Relatedwhen I pulled my 9900 out of my pocket, I saw that the letter P had fallen off of my keyboard and into my pocket. No idea how that happened, especially since my phone is in top shape. I called T-Mobile to see if my phone was under warranty (I bought it the first day it was available in California, which was on August 31st, 2011) and if there was anything that could be done. They directed me to call RIM about the issue. I called RIM this morning and was told by the representative that the warranty is at T-Mobile's discretion and that I'd basically have to hash this issue out with them. So I just got off of the phone with T-Mobile, again, and was told that the button falling off wasn't a "known issue with this device," therefore the warranty was void and my only option was to buy a new phone. This is terrible, a $600 phone and within less than a year my button falls off. The sad thing about it is, I also own the 9700 Curve and I had this same issue happen, except it took more than a year before the letter P fell off of that one.

I then found out that after I do a battery pull, it fixes the problem for a while, but then it goes back to not showing the little red notification again. I was wondering if their was a way to fix this? or if its just a permanent bug.

I bought a Blackberry Pearl recently. When i text message i press the "shift key" to turn the letter im typing into a capital. But i noticed, or can't find a way to keep my letters constantly in Capital.
For example, if i want to type, "I WANT ALL MY LETTERS CAPITAL!" i seem to have to press the "shift key" button for each individual letter! is there any way around this, where i could press some "shift something key" to where my typing remains in CAPITAL until i repress this "shift something key"??
A new icon next to the WiFi activated connected suddenly appeared. It is a capital N but on the lower left side are 3 quarter circles ie like a wifi symbol & I am not sure why it is showing. My default home page on the internet is BBC & I thought that may be it was something to do with that as it was down for the last few days. But it is up & running now & the icon is still there. The N icon only shows when I connect my phone to my wifi at home. The phone says its connected to the wifi (message re the same) & indeed the wifi direct symbol is on with the arows flickering away. It also stays on even though I am right next to the wifi. I have had the phone for 2 months or so & it never used to show this symbol. The wifi at home has not changed & works normally with all other devices.

Another problem is unable to answer call sometimes. The possition of the green button is around the letter "w". It's not responding whEn I tried to tap and drag the green button to answer incoming call.
The letter key "L" will not work when pressed, and seems like there is some sort of delay with that letter. Sometimes when it is pressed, it does compute the letter but multiple time and with about a 5 second delay. Most of the time it won't work at all.Now, the trackpad also does not work right. It will scroll up ,down,left, and right at home screen, but will not do any of that in the BB menu or apps like Facebook. I can use it properly in the viewing of scent calls and viewing of recent texts. But once I open a text I cannot scroll again.There is a way around all that, if I hold down the alt key I can scroll again, but of course my letter al is not working.
