I cannot enter the letter "p" while creating new telephone number in the contact list. Also lg g3 is not listed as connected drive after connecting to the computer . Any driver is required to assess my mobile from the computer
View 3 RepliesI cannot type the letter "t" when phone is in portrait orientation. will only work when phone is in landscape.This causes some problems as some apps do not change orientation so when the "t" is needed to be entered it cannot be carried out

Issue I am having, with any BBM, text or email I cannot type any number, symbol, or Cap Letter. Also I am finding that my tracker ball is intermediary working with some apps and not working at all with others.
View 2 Replies View Relatedwhen I go to type certain letters on Swype (as in not actually "swiping," but just pressing single keys to enter an individual letter), the phone does not enter the letter, and it backs out of the keyboard app. Opening the keyboard back up to type then results in words failing to enter either through individual key presses, or through swiping. The word will show up on the word prediction bar, but will not enter, and the vibrate-on-keypress also fails. I then have to back out of the program that I was trying to type in, but every time I open it back up and try to key in a single letter, the same problem occurs.This problem comes about randomly, I have no idea what spurs the issue. Also, it seems to happen when I am trying to punch in a few specific keys ("K" especially, and also "D." May have noted the problem with 1 or 2 other keys, not sure).
View 9 Replies View RelatedI sync contacts with a corporate Exchange / Outlook account. I can manage contacts on the phone or PC. Any contact who has say a business, home or mobile number and a fax number specified, if I go to the dialer, start typing their name, it does show the contact and a number (no indication of type such as fax or cell) so I tap that choice. Sadly, no, I can't just tell from looking at the number if it is fax or not. The phone dials the fax # which of course is incredibly annoying to my ear and that this dumb phone doesn't know not to try a fax number as the first choice for any contact who has a fax number.
I know I can set the default number per contact but I have hundreds of contacts and to go through each one to see if they have a fax and change it would really suck. Is there seriously no way to tell the phone not to use fax as first choice by default?
After transferring a number from a previous carrier to a new carrier, I can no longer receive iMessages from my telephone number. People can only iMessage me if they know my Apple ID. I've tried restoring the phone, but I'm always faced with 'error' in the iMessage settings window.

1. Press the lettee E as it does not work
2. The ALT key when pressed does not work which means i cannot use a comma, full stop etc..
3. The phone seems to have a life of its own where it automatically speed dials the no 2 (letter E key) wheneever i just scroll my finger on top of it.
4. It also is quite slow and keep coming up with the jar telling me to wait. This is not soo much an issue, but just means i have to wait for the processor (in the phone if any) to get its act together.
Read article somewhere there are people can type 50 to 60 wpm on BB. anyone here did practice and can actually type that fast?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have this really weird repeating problem that is quite annoying. If I go to spotlight and begin to type, sometimes my iPhone thinks I'm in landscape. I took some screenshots of it. I tried restarting the phone and the problem seems to go away but comes back later. I even tried restoring a few times but the problem still comes back after a while.
How do I make this go away or is this a bug? Is anyone else seeing this or am i the only one?EDIT: Okay so I just did a fresh restore and now the problem is worse. I think I may have angered it. Now the letters are in all weird places.

When I then hit reply, I dont know whether this message will be charged for (sending it to a mobile phone) or free (sending it to an apple ID). This is especially an issue with international texts. Is it possible to have the device shown below the name, they same way it works in "Recent" tab for phone calls? There I can see, whether the person called from their mobile phone, their home phone, via face time.I know, I could just start a new message and pick the receipient manually, or create two separate contacts with a hint in the first name field (e.g. "Apple ID) but that is not as convenient as to just reply to an exiting message.

Is there any way to save the USB connection type when plugging the phone to the PC? Specifically MTP. I'm on the Verizon variant, unrooted.
Right now, when I plug it in, it comes up with "Connected as installer" and the Verizon Mobile cd drive thing gets mounted. If I wait it out or if I manually go into the phone and swipe down notifications to change the type to Media device (MTP), the phone mounts. Problem is, the next time i plug in the phone again, I have to either wait it out again or select MTP again. Is there a way to save it to the MTP option? First time on a Samsung phone and not sure if it was just like this since the beginning of time or what.
I have a huge problem with my N79, its only about 3 months above a year old. Its been acting up for the last 24 hours. When the phone's on, and i try using the keypad to either to type out a text or to move around the menu, the phone hangs / keypad doesnt work. I dont know whether its the phone hanging or the keypad problem because the screen goes dark, and i cant revive it, but its still on, and i have to restart the phone, but the same thing keeps happening. I tried hard reseting my phone, that didnt work either.

New to the Windows mobile phone... I use my Windows phone for business and do a lot of conference calls. With my iPhone I used to be able to put the phone number with three commas and then the passcode to the conference call in the meeting request (format = 555-555-5555,,,12121212#). By using this format my customers could just click the link in their iPhone and it would auto-dial the conference number along with the passcode so that they did not have to remember the passcode while driving.
Example: 555-555-5555,,,12121212#. (autohyperlink for iOS)
VS
555-555-5555 Passcode 12121212 then press # (caller can hyperlink the phone number but has to remember the passcode and dial it while driving...)
By using this format you could just click the number and it would dial the number pause then auto add the passcode and # to enter the conference call. I think Blackberry used to use a similar format to achieve the same thing.

View 4 Replies View RelatedLoving my new S6, battery ok for me, thought lack of SD slot would bother me but not actually missing it even though only using 32GB model. Screen is awesome along with the camera, can leave my slr at home now and use the S6 for casual photos... One thing I would love to see Samsung implement is in the phone logs, I would love to see all calls from the same number grouped and the time and date of the call alongside. Its a little annoying when a umber has called you multiple times in one day and there is a logged separate entry for each call. That is my only improvement for me.

It had happened once before but it appeared to fix itself after not being used for a few hours. I have read something about moisture on other forums and I feel this may be the answer but it only affects the letter A.
