Mar 10, 2010I updated my 8900 to v5.0.0.461 last evening and everything works pretty fine soo far except the keypad lock button at the top of the phone no longer works. It was working fine before the upgrade. Any thoughts?

It had happened once before but it appeared to fix itself after not being used for a few hours. Mar 4, 2012The letter key "L" will not work when pressed, and seems like there is some sort of delay with that letter. Sometimes when it is pressed, it does compute the letter but multiple time and with about a 5 second delay. Most of the time it won't work at all.Now, the trackpad also does not work right. It will scroll up ,down,left, and right at home screen, but will not do any of that in the BB menu or apps like Facebook. I can use it properly in the viewing of scent calls and viewing of recent texts. But once I open a text I cannot scroll again.There is a way around all that, if I hold down the alt key I can scroll again, but of course my letter al is not working.

Jul 5, 2012My buttons seemed to have stopped working properly. In order to adjust the volume using the side button, I have to shut down the phone and then restart it. It will work for a while and then stops working and I have to go thru the process again. The home button just works whenever it wants. It doesn't fix the problem when I restart the phone. I can slide my finger in a circle around the button and it still doesn't work.

May 23, 2012have had my iphone for almost 1 and a half years, and about 8 months ago my home button started wrecking; i would press it and it would either not open the iphone (take it off sleep mode to show lock screen) or the button would get stuck in and would start the voice control.. then about one week ago my vibrate button wasnt vibrating, even when i got a call or message or alarm... around one year ago, my camera started wrecking; like i would go into it and it would be blurry, and over the past year it has been getting worse and worse, and now i cant use my back camera at all.

Feb 8, 2012The only way to turn on the keypad is in the TEST of Hardware, if you go to the Next Step it turns off again. What I did was Turning on the Backlight Keypad in Test and then pressed CHANGE APLICATION (Something Like that I have it in Spanish) and then the Lights Keep up all the time. But if I go to the Music Player and I use "MUTE KEY" the Backlight Keypad turns off. (ONLY WHEN I PRESS MUTE ON THE MUSIC PLAYER)

Mar 14, 2012I have an iPhone 3Gs and after upgrading to iOS 5.1 the bottom row of the keypad/keyboard does not function properly. More specifically, when I press the ".?123" button the SHIFT key activates and when I press the "return" key the backspace button is activated instead. I also cannot press the "space" key. This only happens in portrait/vertical mode. It's normal in landscape/horizontal mode. This problem only occurs when the keyboard is active. All other touchscreen activity is normal. Again, this only started to happen after I upgraded to iOS 5.1. I have reset the network settings, reset the phone and hard reset the phone.
