Is there anyway to remove or change the language button when you bring up the keypad? i find it very annoying and unnecessary being there !! always bumping it and changing the language.
View 2 RepliesMy BlackBerry truly has a mind of its own. The screen will start switching to other menus and applications on it's own, without any touch. When in a screen, it will start scrolling on its own, up and down. When typing, it will randomly change languages or in mid-text it will automatically position itself at the beginning of the text.

- I loose all my configurations (entreprise mail box, Wifi registrered, all my applications, so everything....
- I can't change the language : it alwas stays in Englisk (without any other choice in the personalization menu?How ti proceed ?
My model actually is E72-1, which does not consist of Chinese language, therefore i can't read all the chinese SMS. Who can assist or advise me how to install additional device language or remove unnecessary language.

Example, now I set my phone language as English then my map shown in English else set phone language to Thai then map will show in Thai.
Is it possible to used phone language in English but map label shown in Thai? because phone language in Thai has many incorrect translations.
I just went from the 8310 to the 9700 and right off noticed that I can no longer hold the talk button and pull up the address book while in the recent call list. From the home screen you can hold the talk button for a couple of seconds and it pulls up the address book but if you just tap the talk button it opens the recent call list. If you hold the talk button from there it tries calling the last number. Anyone know if I can change this to be like the 83xx?

We need a newer OS and the option of having our quarty keyboards that slides from a touch screen. It will blow the Storm out of the water and it will not have iPhony competition or even Android for that matter! Plus the Torch gives us a nice size for travel not like the Droid phones.

I have had my X6 for just under 6 months and the keypad lock button has snapped off. I have a protective cover on the phone and screen cover and have to admit that when I got the phone, I though it was a bad design and would eventually happen. How do I get it repaired?
View 12 Replies View RelatedThe only way to turn on the keypad is in the TEST of Hardware, if you go to the Next Step it turns off again. What I did was Turning on the Backlight Keypad in Test and then pressed CHANGE APLICATION (Something Like that I have it in Spanish) and then the Lights Keep up all the time. But if I go to the Music Player and I use "MUTE KEY" the Backlight Keypad turns off. (ONLY WHEN I PRESS MUTE ON THE MUSIC PLAYER)

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently bought an E71 in Oman, where I work and live, with an Arabic/English keyboard.There is so much squashed on each key (and the English bit was so small) that I have decided to change to an English only keyboard.I have done this at a cost of 15GBP whilst visiting Dubai.It works fine except that some of the keys do not now create on screen what is pressed on the keyboard.For example if i press the '?' or the 'Full stop' is not where it should be.In other words the phone still thinks that i have an Arabic / English keyboard and not an English only keyboard.Its like an American and UK 'PC' keyboard. The @ is located in different places for example.I believe that I need to change a setting or add some software.Can any one advise (simply) what I need to do to correct this issue if possible.links to software, instructions etc.
