BB Curve 8500 :: Typing Language Greek - Have To Change Language Each Time Writing Message / How To Fix
Aug 20, 2010I have chosen English for the main language and Greek for typing language,but I cannot read sent or received SMS although they are sent and read properly by the recipients.When I turn typung language into English I can read the messages but still with problems...in that case I have to change language each time i m writing a message.That seems to be a problem.Does anybody knows anything about that?

Dec 28, 2011I have a BB Bold 9700, with OS6 on it. Today it has started typing "w" by itself when I was doing a search on the internet browser. I've rebooted it removing the battery and it happened the same when trying to write the unlock password, I've rebooted it again and it seems to be working fine now, however I'm worried because I'm afraid it could be a virus or something. Is that possible? I've read that BB has virus, is it true? It's my work device and you know.. Could be something important on it sometimes.

Jun 10, 2012So I uninstalled Whatsapp because it said the date and time of my blackberry are wrong. Then it said I have to restart my device, which I did. After the restart, I typed my correct password but then the screen is frozen. I restarted my device again, and it was still the same. But when I typed the wrong password, it responded and "wrong password" window appeared.And then, I saw this post http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Tour/Frozen-after-typing-correct-password-HELP/td-... and it said that I still can switch application by holding the blackberry button and switch between applications that is running on background. And I still can. But it is so annoying that I can't go to my home screen.

But abruptly the cursor disappears and when I continue writing the text, it just does not appear on the screen. But "in the background" the text goes on, because after writing "blindly" I can send the whole message, even the first part I can see and even the second part which is written but not displayed.

Feb 19, 2012I'm having problems with my blackberry and one of the solutions was to install the latest OS. I'm currently in the UAE on the dU network.through the ae.blackberry.com website when I tried accessing the software download page, I recieved a HTTP 404 error and was redirected to a page in the UK. When I downloaded that software, I lost my arabic language options.I've seen other carriers post the software but you have to "declare" that you are on that carrier's network before downloading the software.
