I'm having problems with my blackberry and one of the solutions was to install the latest OS. I'm currently in the UAE on the dU network.through the ae.blackberry.com website when I tried accessing the software download page, I recieved a HTTP 404 error and was redirected to a page in the UK. When I downloaded that software, I lost my arabic language options.I've seen other carriers post the software but you have to "declare" that you are on that carrier's network before downloading the software.
I'm having a problem with my multi-touch keyboard it wont change language when i chose English and Other language it only display English languge when i slide the space bar to another language it still English letters Swipe keyboard working good tho , I didnt have this problem when i first got my Atrix whats wrong
My model actually is E72-1, which does not consist of Chinese language, therefore i can't read all the chinese SMS. Who can assist or advise me how to install additional device language or remove unnecessary language.
I have chosen English for the main language and Greek for typing language,but I cannot read sent or received SMS although they are sent and read properly by the recipients.When I turn typung language into English I can read the messages but still with problems...in that case I have to change language each time i m writing a message.That seems to be a problem.Does anybody knows anything about that?
I have recently updated my device and desktop software to version 7.1.0. Unfortunately the language input is only English. I cannot find the language and input support in the application (desktop software) for me to add any language.
there's no any chinese, japanese, korean input language method. i looked into the applications in BB Desktop Software, and there were only other input languages except those 3,, i downloaded and installed OS 7.1 Bundle 1648, but i can't upgrade/downgrade with that OS. there's the software info in installed device software, but when i tried to update, there was none. and the other version was only my current software.
My bold 9700 just came back from reperation and now I can't change my language into Dutch anymore, it's all in English, not that this is a huge problem, but I rather have my phone in Dutch.
I tried options>language and text input> and the only option I get is 'English(US)'
Does anyone know how I can change the language settings on my blackberry device?
I got 9700- BB purchase directly from Research In Motion (RIM).[URL] in this page it says "If you did not purchase your BlackBerry smartphone directly from Research In Motion (RIM), please select the link to your service ......" and what if the device is from RIM , where I can download OS for RIM devices.?Or is there any another way to install new Languages on BB device ?
I have some trouble after a device update i did on my phone. I now only have the choice between two languages that are English and portugès.I would like to have it in french but it's not on the phone and i cannot manage the languages from the application menu of my desktop software.
I'm trying to add new language packs to my bold 9780 but I can't find the option,I get to choose from the already installed languages and I'm unable to add a new one.Do I need to re-install the OS?
I'm trying to learn Lithuanian, and it's a pain not being able to send messages with š č ė etc., and the pressing of the key and sliding up doesn't have those symbols yet I can see them on my phone which means they must be somewhere.
I thought installing the language pack would help. How do I go about installing Lithuanian on my 9700 (v.6.0.2949)? It's not in my list, and I cannot find it anywhere on the internet.

i have a peculiar problem on my bold9900. when i am texting a sentence, before could even complete it, there appears a fullstop and the next word starts as a new sentence.each time i have to manually go back, erase the full stop and then remove the capitalisation by erasing the letter and start texting again. this is not always happening and only happens sometimes. i have tried everything from changing input language to adjusting key sensitivity but the problem still persists. any solutions?"this is like.This and everytime i am going.Backwards to retype!"
How can I remove languages from the "Typing List"? When I press "Alt+Enter" I get a long and unnecessary list There is no option and couldn't trough the wizard
when i connect BB to the desktop software, no "input languages" under the application item. the application item only shows the apps i downloaded. does it mean i have deleted the language pack? if so where can i download it? i have tried to wipe the BB but cant help.

I recently bought an unlocked BB Bold 9790 in USA.I'm Portuguese and I pretend to use it in Africa (in a country without BB service).Being so, I really need to change the input language to Portuguese. I installed the BB Desktop Software (710_b033_multilanguage) and I have BB device software version 7.0 2356 (unfortunatly I'm not allowed to upgrade to 7.1).I went to applications in BB Desk.Soft but it doesn't appear the "Language and Input Support" application.
I've just started using my new BB 9700, but unfortunately I have chosen only the English language at the first setup step, so the Arabic language has been deleted.I have tried installing the BB Desktop Manager and tried to check the update Application section in order to remove or add language (as per lots of internet posts) but again I can't find any option at the Add/remove application except the downloaded extra applications (facebook, Live Messenger and BB Messenger)

I day tripped it from the UK to the Netherlands. Without any obvious intervention from me Input Langauage changed from English to something else - a completely different alphabet. How can I avoid it happening again? It was a big problem because my password is in English!
