May 7, 2012How do I install german language onto my device? There is only English, Portuguese and some Asian language to choose from. How do I get german language installed?

Jan 21, 2010I read on one of the help things that I can add German as an Input language for my Pearl 8130 using the application loader, but I can't figure out how to do that in Desktop Manager. I'm using Windows Vista.I type text messages and emails in different languages, but the only three of them that came with the phone were English, French, and Spanish. It rejects the spelling of my German words in emails and facebook posts, etc. I don't want to have to add every German word I know manually.I also would like to be able to use the SureType feature in German, but I can't figure out how to add it.

I would like to use the built-in dictionary in order to translate from and to Chinese.Or, more generally, I'd like to read Chinese text, e.g. on web sites.However, the phone is unable to display Chinese characters; all I see are little rectangles instead of the characters.I assume there is a Chinese firmware somewhere. Can I replace the original firmware by a Chinese version? If so, how do I do it?Is there another way to display/write Chinese characters?

Sep 9, 2010I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 and was updating the latest application on it yesterday. Due to low battrey my laptop turned off before the sofware was properly installed. I have tried the following:
1) to take out the battrey and switch on the phone and tried to load the sofware again but that does not seem to work as the desktop software does not recognise my phone it says unknown device.
2) I have tried to use the update option in the website but that also does not seem to be working
The screen is showing the following message when turned on: Application permissions: The application saftey driving is attempting to access the phone information. I am unable to move the trackball to the appropiate option.

Feb 19, 2012I'm having problems with my blackberry and one of the solutions was to install the latest OS. I'm currently in the UAE on the dU network.through the ae.blackberry.com website when I tried accessing the software download page, I recieved a HTTP 404 error and was redirected to a page in the UK. When I downloaded that software, I lost my arabic language options.I've seen other carriers post the software but you have to "declare" that you are on that carrier's network before downloading the software.

Jun 4, 2012i have a peculiar problem on my bold9900. when i am texting a sentence, before could even complete it, there appears a fullstop and the next word starts as a new sentence.each time i have to manually go back, erase the full stop and then remove the capitalisation by erasing the letter and start texting again. this is not always happening and only happens sometimes. i have tried everything from changing input language to adjusting key sensitivity but the problem still persists. any solutions?"this is like.This and everytime i am going.Backwards to retype!"
