Eseries / Communicators :: Install Chinese Fonts / Language Pack - E5-0?
Sep 28, 2011Iīm working in China and Iīm using my german mobile (E5-00) with a local provider. The provider sends me from time to time messages in chinese letters. The mobile is not able to display them (I see only boxes instead of signs)I want to know if it is possible to install the chinese fonts on the device - if theīre displayed correctly one of the colleges can translate me the message.

Feb 8, 2011I have a brand new plain E52 with a German firmware (or maybe with a German language pack?). I would like to use the built-in dictionary in order to translate from and to Chinese.Or, more generally, I'd like to read Chinese text, e.g. on web sites.However, the phone is unable to display Chinese characters; all I see are little rectangles instead of the characters.I assume there is a Chinese firmware somewhere. Can I replace the original firmware by a Chinese version? If so, how do I do it?Is there another way to display/write Chinese characters?

Jan 15, 2010bought a nokia 5800 from hong kong with preinstalled chinese and english language, but my bro recently purchased a nokia 5530 from the same place, and it also has the same language packs preinstalled. however, the 5530 can view the arabic font (but not write in arabic) as in if he gets a txt messeage in arabic, but my 5800 cant? anyone knows how i cud install the arabic language pack in my 5800. i know they are already preinstalled by nokia, but since stores can do it, then there must be a way to do it!

Mar 28, 2012I'm trying to learn Lithuanian, and it's a pain not being able to send messages with ÅĄ Ä Ä etc., and the pressing of the key and sliding up doesn't have those symbols yet I can see them on my phone which means they must be somewhere.
I thought installing the language pack would help. How do I go about installing Lithuanian on my 9700 (v.6.0.2949)? It's not in my list, and I cannot find it anywhere on the internet.

Aug 25, 2011Have a Torch 9800 with the latest softawre (as downloaded by my network provider) and the latest Desktop software installed in my PC. My BB doesnt have the Italian language pack and i want somehow to import it. Tried to connect my device to desktop manager, then Applications (as i was indicated to do) then all my installed (from app world) applications appeared excet the Language and Input Support section (so that i choose and add the -extra- Italian language). there is nowhere i search in the desktop manager the option/selection for the Language and Input Support.

This is the first from the choice. When I set any other language like English or my Polish press OK and return to the editor I can write one letter and after it the editor switches back to Cestina language. How can I set the proper language permanently ? Alternatively how to reset the E52 to the factory state completely?
