Nokia :: Arabic Language Pack
Jan 15, 2010bought a nokia 5800 from hong kong with preinstalled chinese and english language, but my bro recently purchased a nokia 5530 from the same place, and it also has the same language packs preinstalled. however, the 5530 can view the arabic font (but not write in arabic) as in if he gets a txt messeage in arabic, but my 5800 cant? anyone knows how i cud install the arabic language pack in my 5800. i know they are already preinstalled by nokia, but since stores can do it, then there must be a way to do it!

Mar 28, 2012I'm trying to learn Lithuanian, and it's a pain not being able to send messages with š č ė etc., and the pressing of the key and sliding up doesn't have those symbols yet I can see them on my phone which means they must be somewhere.
I thought installing the language pack would help. How do I go about installing Lithuanian on my 9700 (v.6.0.2949)? It's not in my list, and I cannot find it anywhere on the internet.

Aug 25, 2011Have a Torch 9800 with the latest softawre (as downloaded by my network provider) and the latest Desktop software installed in my PC. My BB doesnt have the Italian language pack and i want somehow to import it. Tried to connect my device to desktop manager, then Applications (as i was indicated to do) then all my installed (from app world) applications appeared excet the Language and Input Support section (so that i choose and add the -extra- Italian language). there is nowhere i search in the desktop manager the option/selection for the Language and Input Support.

Aug 1, 2011How can I install back the language pack after upgrading the 9300?Before I upgraded my blackberry software/firmware, my software/firmware was 1875, after when I upgraded from 1875 to 2475, the language pack then went missing.I then found another version of east asian from Vodafone which is the same one as mentioned above, 1875, I can't seem to install the language pack back in after when I've upgraded my phone software.I've deleted the old version of the software in my BB from my computer. My network is Vodafone.Is there a way to reinstall the version 1875 language pack, install it into 2647 language pack? I don't want to load it back into the old version 1875, but to load it in the new version of 2647.

Jul 16, 2011I have an Atrix running original FW.I also have the lapdock and do like it but REALLY need RDP and VNC clients in order to do my job (linux engineer) better!If any of the updates come out with VNC and/or RDP apps (also ssh CLI would be GREAT!) which I was hoping might be in gingerbread count me in! I use the Atrix and webtop for WORK and right now I just use the lapdock enlarged phone view and run my ssh, vnc, and rdp apps as needed from anywhere I can get a cell or wi-fi signal but the resolution and screen size could be a LOT better.Is there any chance I might see SSH, VNC, and RDP apps added to the webdock any time soon?Is there any plans to add "SPICE" protocol support any time soon for DAAS? url..

Jul 4, 2011long time lurker and joined a few days ago. I've searched the forums to see if this has been answered... if I just missed the answer, I apologize in advance. I've had my Droid X since Dec 2010. No problems with the calendar on the phone synching with the microsoft outlook calendar thru exchange UNTIL Gingerbread. Now all the new calendar items I add to the Droid X will not synch to the Corporate Calendar in Microsoft. However, when I add anything new to the Corporate Outlook calendar it immediately shows up on the X; it just won't synch the other way. (email and contacts sync both ways just fine).

Aug 1, 2011Ive been having an issue with the keyboard, where sometimes if i press the space bar, it seems to think i'm holding it, and will first put a period at the end of whatever word i added, then continue spacing untill the next line. It either does this, or will not space at all. Both seem to be sparatic, and i dont notice anything in connection with when it happens yet, but its happened quite alot, and seems to have been happening more the past two days.

Dec 14, 2011I'm lucky that I live in an area where I have pretty consistent 4G service. My battery life with my Bionic seemed to be improving over time and prior to yesterdays update I was getting a good 12+ hours of regular life with a few bluetooth phone calls and regular push emails and by 7pm I would be at 40%. I thought that was pretty decent. Today after 4.5 hours I was down to 50% and now after 6.hours and 33 minutes I'm at 30%. In that interim period I have not made any phone calls, nor played any games, nor used the phone for anything other than checking my status of apps and battery life.
The one change I did notice was "wakelock" with the " " marks on the word included on the list of things using battery. When I queried this forum as to what this is, not an app I uploaded to the phone, I found out it is something that Moto added as a power management tool. There is no way for us that I can tell to manipulate this tool. I have a problem with having a tool put on my device that slows my battery and I can't either delete it or manipulate it. I won't root my phone.

Jul 13, 2011I have read help files about the default auto-kill option in the task manager. But it does't explicitley specify which apps can be added to the auto-kill list. I would like to way to know which of the stock apps can be added to the list. I have noticed that my battery usage for idle phone in the range of 30-35% (which I believe a bit high). May be the default apps I already have added to auto-kill are required by motoblur and hence started automatically, thus causing a loop.I have installed only 3 apps uptill now so i am sure they arn't causing this problem
