Recently purchased a used Blackberry 9530 which was not unlocked. Have received the code needed from a third party source, follow the instructions, but when I get to the point of typing MEP2, no popup screen appears to input the code. The phone was not active when purchased but did come with a Verizon SIM card and on it, it said Vodaphone. The phone is locked to Verizon. Also in the IMEI number there is a 03 in the middle instead of a 06.

Indeed while typing this sort paragraph it's taking longer because the keyboard is entering letters for me. I have already rebooted the phone reinstalled software and was OK for a while. But now it's back. Impossible to go on to Facebook as I can't scroll down without opening every link.

After the restart, I typed my correct password but then the screen is frozen. I restarted my device again, and it was still the same. I searched settings and developer options and I see no way to increase screen sensitivity.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is a major problem that has been occurring over the past week or so.Happening from once to four times per day, my one year old iPhone 4 will do something quite strange and abnormal.When I type anything; whether its on an app or just texting; it will either delete the sequence of letters or start typing and repeating letters on its own. Also, when I press any kind of button, the screen will spazz out in a way, and the button won't be pressed, another button in the close location to the button that was supposed to be pressed will be pressed.I searched online for answers aside from apple.com, my last resort, and they all said to restore to factory settings.I did do this, but this didn't work, because the first thing that happened when I typed in my wi-fi password for the first time was that it started to repeat A's, @'s, and O's. On the iPad you can hide the keyboard anytime while typing. I cannot see a way to hide the keyboard when typing a mail message. I saw a post saying you close, save, go to your saved messaes and open the message again - too time consuming. There is a fix on the jailbroken site, but I dont want to jailbreak the phone. There must be a way to hide the keyboard in a mail messge. In a text message you can.

It is out of character for my iPhone to load apps & type slowly. iMessage crashes often & changing from app to app crashes the iPhone regularly. Is this issue common?
