Sometimes when typing I can't use the back/home keys and the screen becomes unresponsive for a few seconds then will work OK for a while then do the same again.

My Nexus 5 has become very sluggish when installing and uninstalling apps. It will almost freeze and become unresponsive for a few seconds before becoming normal again. I'm wondering if the storage is degrading... I would rather not upgrade since none of the other devices are significant steps up from the Nexus 5. I'm running Stock and ElementalX.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhile typing on keypad or pressing on apps it takes longer to respond it reaches to 10 sec, that's really bad just like having a PC which has a virus in it and it doesn't respond to the orders.

App icons random refresh (like as if they are being installed - blue bar). Why is that? Phone is unresponsive for those few seconds. Happens more when switching apps. Say you in Safari and hit home button to go to another app. The whole home screen seems like all apps are refreshing.

For the past week i've been facing issue with my touch screen. As in, one column of the screen is unresponsive. I've tried my best to solve it using factory reset through phone and sony pc companion, but went it vein.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI updated my phone to the new version. I noticed afterwards that the screen started becoming less responsive. When I was on a call, the screen would go black, and unresponsive. I couldn't hang up the calls. The phone also started freezing randomly. As I was sitting on my phone checking facebook, the screen cracked. Diagonally on the front. Not all the way through. Not the top of the screen - I can't touch or feel the crack.
-The phone was not hot.
-The phone was not dropped.
-The phone has been in a tech21 Impactology case since day 1 - with a screen protector as well. I don't take the case off.
I had planned on sending my phone for exchange - because there is a bubble/defect in the front facing camera lens. The camera does not take clear pictures due to this. The phone is less than a year old, and I had not managed to get into the bell store yet.
I´ve had this Z3 for about 3 weeks, suddenly the screen got unresponsive, it doesn´t respond at all !!
View 9 Replies View RelatedThe screen on my Z5 has become over sensitive and when scrolling it keeps opening pages or links even when I hardly touch the screen. Indeed while typing this sort paragraph it's taking longer because the keyboard is entering letters for me. I have already rebooted the phone reinstalled software and was OK for a while. But now it's back. Impossible to go on to Facebook as I can't scroll down without opening every link.
View 9 Replies View RelatedRecently my Ray's touchscreen has stopped working completely; the screen its self works, as do the volume and power buttons, but it won't register any touch - I can't even unlock the slider. Tried all of the usual things, recharging, leaving the battery out etc. In the end I used the repair tool which installed ICS, and that actually worked for about two days, but the same problem just came back.

When i use the touch screen either calling a number, writing a text or anything, it aint always so responsive.
If i write a little word like: "Hi, my name is dave" then what i see written is: "H, Myname is dve"
This is VERY hard for me to tolerate right now. I have always had samsung phones and i have never had any issues with the touch, but i wanted to test a Sony phone and i bought this one. My first impression was very good, but now its not that great.
My z3 screen recently cracked from top right corner to bottom left and the top two thirds of the screen is unresponsive to touch. So once I turned it on I cannot enter my PIN.
Can this issue be fixed with a simple screen replacement or is it a deeper issue?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've bought an Xperia Play a few days ago and I noticed something strange. Sometimes a small area on the right side of the screen becomes completely unresponsive. It feels random and usually last for 10-30 seconds. I've tried the Sony Ericsson update service, and did a reset, but it didn't help. I'm thinking about taking the phone back, but the problem is very random and difficult to replicate, so convincing someone, that there is a problem might be difficult.
View 5 Replies View RelatedUpdate to 4.0 ICS two days back as it arrives in India, everthing is seems to me is pretty switching back to apps is far better now from previous version.But the main issue is with games when i started "Angry Birds" is starts off smoothly and all the hardare buttons are working just fine but the touch screen becomes completely unresponsive and even "Temple Run" slows down and touch is just horrible, sometimes it even plays its own moves, haaa..haa, funny.. Same issues a bit of a time for few seconds also goes for "Skater Boy" game too which mostly runs very fine.

So I did a Battery pull and let it load up...and that when i found out that my trackball wasn't working.then all a sudden it started to type the HLlhlhlhlhlhlhhlhlh again.So I did a another battery pull and it did it again.So I wiped the phone decided to install 5.0 on my phone and I get the same thing.The only thing I did before my phone went hay wire was a couple days prior.I downloaded a couple free themes and screen saver from BB App World.I thought by doing the battery pull and wipe I would fix it but didn't. I know I didn't get my phone wet or anything can anybody explain this?

I tried extending the sleep time but regardless of the time chosen it turns off the screen within 3 seconds. I then turned off Stamina mode and it seems to be fine now. But now my battery will die faster without stamina mode. The long lasting battery is why I chose an Xperia Z3.

The screen begins to dim and then sleeps but instantly wakes up. So basically the device screen is on all the time now. I think I've tried everything i could.
A little while ago my battery ran out on my Xperia Play and nothing has really worked since then.
1. Backlight does not work, at all.
2. The phone does not detect the battery (though I am able to charge it). I have that 'no battery' indicator on the top of my screen at all times. I have bought a new battery, no change. If I keep it plugged in with/without battery nothing changes.
3. Screen is really laggy now. I have to try to swipe the screen like 18 times before it actually goes through and unlocks. When I try to type, the keys I press get held so all sorts of funny accents are all over the place.
Its not usable currently. If I use the arrow keys to navigate the menus, it works fine. When I tried to take the phone apart I managed to break the LCD screen. Replaced that and now I'm back where I started. Anything I can do? Replace the digitizer?
I am using xperia neo v mobile. When I lock my screen using the power button the backlight gets off (common in all mobiles) after 10 to 15 sec the back light glows again.

Every time I connect my micro USB to hdmi lead it drops the wifi connection and the screen connection will drop about every ten seconds. I'm at a complete loss for answers I've try'd different leads and trawled Google for hours for a fix. This set up worked perfectly on all my other Zs.

i think i didn't miss anything but still its not responsive. It does sometimes response but if i do restart battery pull, open back case its unresponsive again. According to my knowledge its not a hardware issue as if its hardware and need new one i already tried that its software issue and it seems that entire screen is selected when i try to neviggate through the gaming keys. I am still unable to belive that sony ericsson has still not provided any fix for the issue. If anyone has any idea or any third party software for screen please advise.
