BB Curve :: 9300 Does Not Reboot With SIM Card?

Jul 1, 2012

I have been using Curve 9300 for over a year now. This BB is given by my organization and is locked to Vodafone India.I installed a update to some app a few days back and after installing it the BB asked me to reboot to install the app. I clicked yes and since then it does not reboot. It just shows the red default Vodafone screen (BB being locked to Vodafone India). tried removing the battery. Didnt work. Tried to drain the battery and recharge it before rebooting but didnt work either. The strangest part is that if I remove the SIM card the BB boots perfectly but is practically useless w/o the SIM card.

BB Curve :: 9300 Stopped Reading SIM Card?

Jan 30, 2012

I bought Blackberry curve 9300 on August 8,2011 and have come across this problem of SIM not being recognized and shows SOS on screen. After this problem, I had sent this to service centre and they said that since new software update has come hence my phone is having this problem and they said it will take 10-12 days to fix this problem All my phone numbers are in this phone and what will I do for 10-12 days without phone?I connected to laptop and updated the Black berry software through update however still no solution.

Today I upgraded the software hoping this will fix this NO SIM recognition issue but no use. This issues had occured in past also but for strange reason was rectified in past.

BB Curve :: 9300 - App World Won't Use Memory Card For Storage

Dec 22, 2010

I had a Curve 9300 which I lost, I bought a new one which is quite different to my original one which I assume is because the software will be newer? Anyway on my old 9300 the app world memory was massive which I thought was my memory card but now on this newer 9300 the app world won't use my memory card to store apps, just the very measly 256MB, is there any way I can make it use my memory card on app world?

Xperia Z2 :: SD Card Content Deleted After Reboot

Jun 12, 2015

I recently updated my xperia z2 phone from 4.4.2 KK to 5.0.2 (23.1.A.1.28) first did the installation without wiping the data but after that i made factory reset both from phone and from Recovery deleting all user data . Before that (i don`t know if that is with the problem) i installed Signature verification always true patch from Lucky Patcher and after that removed it . Everything is perfect with the phone except the strange issue that happens when i restart or turn off and then turn it on again.

When i do it- first this happens -(the attached image) - it shows all the apps that i moved to the sd card like that with red circle with sd card symbol in the upper right corner and no app icons and after couple of seconds it loads them somethimes, all of them - but somethimes it shows only those which are on internal memory and after a restart it loads them all without a problem but it deletes all the data on the sd card except the app data ( of those which i moved to the sd card with the lolipop function and with Folder Mount).

All the pictures, movies, music, e-books and more are deleted but the app data is not ... and the phone is doing that sometimes not all the time. When the Pictures, music and so on are deleted i`m putting them back on the sd card again and couple of restarts there is no problem loading the apps or deleting the data on the sd card ... but after that it happens again and deletes my information ... but only pictures books music movies .. . I`m using TDK 32 GB micro sd Fat 32 formatted - i tried ntfs but the z2 doesn't recognizes it .. the sd card is tested with H2Testw and its ok and i didn't had any problems, when i was using 4.4.2 KitKat .

Xperia Z3 :: Unable To Activate Second SIM Card After Reboot

Jun 2, 2015

How to restore my phone with factory settings.

I have a Sony Xperia Z3 DUAL SIM. I have successfully upgraded my phone with Lollipop 5.0.2... I use it in french language... The phone is encrypted (professional usage). I also use a SD card of 64gb (encrypted also)

Every thing was functional until I switch off the second sim card (my professional phone) for the weekend and reboot the phone (one sim card On the other one OFF)

Since this action, I'm unable to activate again my professional SIM. The phone boots, and request my Sim1 Pin code. I enter it and the phone request the second one.... again and again and again...

The only way to use the phone is to take the sim card  off the phone to use it (after another reboot)...

BB Bold :: Media Card Error / Failure Upon Reboot?

Aug 3, 2011

after having experienced twice the problem about the Media Card error upon a reboot and after having read hundreds of posts only about how to fix the problem, I tryed to think about what are the causes of this upsetting behaviour.Giving that the SD Card should be error free proven, these are my considerations:

1) When the phone shutdowns unexpectedly (e.g. battery drain or battery pull upon a freeze) Media Card is not safely unmounted, so if there were media files open by applications, the reboot finds them corrupted. NOTE that it couldn't be the very first reboot after a battery drain; maybe the files get corrupted only afer having accessed once again;

2) If using a SD Card of a Class higher than 2 (as far as I remember, the speed of the reader on the phone), it could happen that some transaction between the phone and the card is not closed correctly because the card response is higher than the phone can manage.I'd like to end up with some ideas in order to reduce the probability of this issue, that is anyway an unquestionably bug from RIM.

BB Bold :: Cannot Access The Files Stored On The Memory Card Using A Software Reboot

Aug 23, 2012

After updating the 9930 to software 7.1 when the phone reboots using the option in App World after installing an app, I notice the phone cannot access the files stored on the memory card using a software reboot.Only by doing a battery pull does the phone recognise the media card contents and then I can access it. Therefore everytime I install an app I have to do a battery pull to restart the phone as the restart option from the App World in the phone makes the files on the media card not to be seen. This bug was not present before I did the upgrade to 7.1 bundle 1737?

Motorola Droid Razr :: SD Card Notifications On Reboot - Audible Sound

Nov 24, 2011

On my brand new Razr (24hrs old!) - I have noticed that when the phone boots and the SD card is mounted, there is an Audible sound "DROID" - and its annoying. (Now, I am not talking about the mechanical sound/video that fires up when the phone boots). In Sound Settings I find a section called "SD Card Notifications". You can turn that off or on and here is the odd part. If I turn it On, it will use whatever I have the "Notification Ringtone" set at. That makes sense. If I turn if Off, it will use my "Phone Ring Tone"! - A long MP3... This does not make sense. In other words, I cannot silence it and I would like to. The phone does have a "Silent" ring tone (internally) but it is not one of the available "Notification Ringtones" I can use.

BB Bold 9700 :: 7min Reboot Now 3min Reboot My Test / Findings?

Mar 30, 2010

Reboot complete (main screen/carrier logo) First Time and Device Usable Second Time
Minutes:Seconds
3:13 - 3:37 Custom Theme
3:11 - 3:25 Default Carrier Theme
Theme's have no real effect from what I've noticed. Unless you have a really big gfx intense theme.
3:13 - 3:23 Password
3:13 - 3:25 Password + wallpaper on mem card
7:09 - 7:21 "Memory Clean Turned on" + Theme + password + wallpaper on mem card Re-test (that was way too long)
6:36 - 6:45 "Memory Clean Already On" + Theme + password + wallpaper on mem card.
3:23 - 3:45 "Encrytion Media Card Only" + BerryWeather + Theme + password + wallpaper on mem card + Mem Compression Memory Clean and Encrytion (Device Memory Enabled) either one of those on will increase reboot time by atleast 2-3mins. When enabling Device Memory encryption Memory Clean is automatically turned on and can't be disabled. So in my testing reboot time was between 6-7mins. My current config setup is that last test. Since Password is on, I see no need for Device Memory encryption to be on. Without the password you can't gain access to device files. ZonaSnap , QuickLaunch, Blink all preloaded during each test. 8 Email Accounts, about 80 read emails, and 100+ sms, 41 apps anyone that is getting 1-2min reboot please post your settings.

BB Curve :: Battery Drain On Curve 9300 / Software 6.0 Bundle?

Mar 9, 2012

I am experiencing very frustrating battery issues on my BB Curve 9300. I bought the device a month ago and had a brand new battery installed in no later than yesterday.Battery life is about 3 to 5 hours at the very best, whilst I am not using any specific 3rd party application. In addition, the "clock" apprears on a very frequent basis, slowing the system dramatically.I do not have any files saved on the media card ... Wi-fi has been disabled already as have Bluetooth. LAt, connection the mobile network is fine so I do not believe it has to do with the device desperately seeking connection.PS: I am based in France with SFR being my provider.

BB Curve :: Crashes During Reboot?

Aug 4, 2011

Basically, the phone went completely dead, despite being fully charged. At first there was no response from the phone whatsoever and this went on for about 4 hours. I was out of the house and had no charger so assumed that maybe the battery had run out. However, after about 4 hours the Blackberry began behaving very weirdly. Every so often, the red LED light comes on for about 10 seconds and then it tries to switch on (without me pressing a button). The reboot bar comes up, but when this is only about 5-10% full the Blackberry crashes and does exactly the same thing again, crashing at the same point. Sometimes it can do this continuously and sometimes it will go completely unresponsive again.

Removing the battery makes no difference, because when I put it back in it simply behaves in the same way.I tried launching a software update through BB Desktop to remedy this, but half-way through the programme said that it could not connect to the Blackberry, even though it had previously been connected.

The white line was only about 3/4 of the way full and it wasn't moving, so I took the battery out to reboot it again. It was going fine until it reached that spot again, and stopped about 3/4 of the way full. I took the battery out for an extended period of time and tried again, but the same thing happened
