View 2 RepliesI am trying to figure out a way to force the camera to store pictures on the SD card instead of on the internal memory. I have read previous forum posts and I don't have the options that it is asking for. It says to BB -> Options -> Store Pictures -> change to card, but I don't have the options to Store Pictures. I am using version 4.5.0.186 as per service provider. Can someone please help me.
View 4 Replies View RelatedHow to access pictures that are on my card, they were taken with my previous phone. With that phone, it had a basic explorer-type interface but it looks like it's supposed to add them automatically with my Blackberry curve 9300. My videos are there, as are my ringtones but not the photos.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI had a Curve 9300 which I lost, I bought a new one which is quite different to my original one which I assume is because the software will be newer? Anyway on my old 9300 the app world memory was massive which I thought was my memory card but now on this newer 9300 the app world won't use my memory card to store apps, just the very measly 256MB, is there any way I can make it use my memory card on app world?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if there was an easier, more streamlined setting I am missing where you can save the pics you download from 3rd party apps right to the memory card. I have been downloading them and then manually moving them to the memory card but its always a hassle. The normal camera app gives you the nice setting to have them auto save to the memory card so that's awesome. Though I am wondering if other apps I use can do this too?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIf you have a Defect Tracking System, I can seriously take up the job of Ad-Hoc tester. The first time I tried the Backup, I was connected to PC companion ( I was going to perform a repair, I wanted to back up first)Turns out that Backup doesn't see the memory card if the phone is connected through USB.
1- It should at least improve the error message and indicate that Backup operation can't be performed while connected via USB.
2- Why can't it perform the backup while connected via USB in the first place? In fact it would be great to allow the back up to store the data in a directory in the PC via PC COMPANION.

My address book takes up quite a bit of memory; so does my calendar -- both of which were synced from Outlook. Is there any way to have the addresses/calendar data stored onto my microSD instead of the device memory?
Lastly, I noticed that when I call people using my Curve, it shows up on their caller ID as "private name, private number." Where can I change this setting? Is it in my provider's settings (which I can access online) or on the BlackBerry's settings somewhere? Also, is it possible to at least NOT have it show private when calling those on my address book, such as friends & relatives?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to OS 6 on my Curve 9300 3g, (on the advice of a BB rep) and ever since my device memory has been low. When it was on OS5 it had about 90mb of free memory, now even after a reboot I' m lucky to have between 30 to 34mb. Now Web pages close unexpectedly and cannot use the tabbed browsing at all. I only a couple of small apps left on the device as I have deleted most of them already. I upgraded the OS using the desktop software, and all seemed to have worked OK. Have I missed something?, was there install files I should have cleared?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to synchronize my blackbery with app world but everytime I go to step two. As we know the first one is to get the Blackberry browser plug-in, the second one is to Connect your smartphone and the last one is to update your software. The problem I have is with connecting my smartphone. I sellect my pin, click on Connect and a couple of seconds after that, I get this message:"An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry App World Web plugin. restart your device and try again. If you have content protection enabled on your device, disable and try again."Nowhere on my security settings I find Content protection or Content Lock.
