I have a Curve 9300. I us a 4 g sd card. When I use the card in my Samsung I can view many pics from long ago yet when I load the same card into my BB, it will not pick up those same pics. The pics were never taken with the SAmsung, in fact it isnt even my phone, I just borrowed it for a try out session. how to access all the history on that sd card

I have read previous forum posts and I don't have the options that it is asking for. It says to BB -> Options -> Store Pictures -> change to card, but I don't have the options to Store Pictures. View 6 Replies View RelatedI am looking for some help on getting access to media that was encrypted on the 128MD micro SD card that came with my original BB Curve (qwerty).Some time back my original BB was damaged and my company's internal IT dept gave me a temporary Curve BB (azerty). That BB came with an SD card which I replaced with my original SD card. When my new BB Curve (qwerty) got in, I handed over the temporary one (azerty) and kept my original micro SD card. Now I need to access the content of that micro SD card and am having a hard time doing so.
I can't remember if the original micro SD card was only encrypted with a password or a device key as well.
I have tried to use what I think the encryption key was on the micro SD I need to access by use of the new BB Curve (qwerty). I get my 5 try's then remove and re-insert the micro SD card.
All this to no avail. Now, the content is very important to me and I am willing to go through any formal process to get at the content. Can anyone tell me how to reach someone at RIM (BlackBerry) to discuss this, or if there is any legal way of getting at the content. (I can confirm the content before it is decrypted).
The issues I have here are:
1) not sure if the card was encrypted with a password and a device key (in which case I have a further dilemma in that the original device (BB Curve qwerty) has been retired and is no longer available for use) or just a password. Is there a way to find this out?
2) Because I use so many different passwords on all the devices I have to use, I am not even sure I am trying the right one for this micro SD card. Plus having gone from a qwerty to azerty, then back to a qwerty keyboard, I am not sure I am using the right password to decrypt. I am however able to provide the full password if given the 1st character of the encryption password.
I am not looking to do anything illegal but truly need to access the encrypted content. As such I am reaching out to the community and looking for any help available such as contact at RIM, formal process to decrypt, hints, clues. Anything to move this forward.
The enterprise Black Berry server is in europe. Is it possible to access the phone/ memory card from there !!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI shattered the screen on my Nexus 6 the other day and the screen is totally black, just a few bleeps of light if I connect/disconnect to computer, that's it. The problem is, when I connect to my computer via USB, the Nexus 6 shows up in my drives, but there's no files showing at all so I can't download all the pics/videos off of it, it only charges. I assume this is because it's not in MTP mode? But I can't switch it on since I can't even see the screen. The phone itself works apart from the screen being dead, rings for calls, texts, charges and even bluetooth connects to my car when I start it up. I just can't view the files on my computer to download them .
how to get all these pics/videos off of this thing? I have my daughters last 6 months of her life on this phone, including her recent birthday part etc...etc.. and I really need to get all that downloaded somehow before I even think of sending it in for a replacement. One thing that came to mind is mirroring it to another device which I read online, possibly with Chromecast or via another type of cable but I'm not sure if I could actually operate the phone in order to put it into MTP mode that way though.
So I dropped my iphone 3gs in a lake and it wouldn't turn on for about three months so now that it has turned on I can't remember the passcode on it, I know you can restore it but I don't really want to do that as I have pictures and notes and messages I want to keep, is there anything I can do?? or is there anyway i can access my pictures and my notes and messages?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am hoping to recover some photos off of my SD card. I previously used my 4gb sd card in a Blackberry Z10 and have switched to a LG G4 about a month ago. My pictures first showed up on the SD card but I was unable to see them as it said file type was unsupported. Now the SD card shows nothing at all and says it needs to be formatted. When I put it in my PC it says the same thing, that it needs to be formatted.
I see there are a ton of recovery software options but nothing seems to be working. Maybe because I haven't deleted it? Will formatting delete my files? Do I have any other options? I have pictures of my baby I really don't want to lose...

I just took a ton of awesome pictures at an art festival, got home excited the check out how good they were, and ALL but 2 are gone. Never saved. I have no idea why, I didn't close out the camera app too fast, each photo moved down to the bottom left as a thumb before I took another, or closed the app. Any idea what's going on? Any way to recover these great pics? This is really a pain as I have also lost great concert videos as well.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo, a couple days ago, I noticed my pics had disappeared. The phone said "A Media Card has been insert that contains errors" and I tried to repair them, but as others have found, "Media Card Repair Failed". When I plugged both the phone, and then the media card via a card reader, into my laptop, the "camera" folder was simply a Unix file, not a folder anymore, and obviously no contents. So is the problem the card, or is the instructions for the camera missing? I've tried taking the battery out a few times to reboot - no effect. I've tried "repair" repeatedly and that doesn't work. I've not managed to re-format the card so do let me know how exactly to do that via the phone, if you think that's the best option.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI picked up my new S6 from the Sprint store yesterday. I almost have all of my parameters set, outside of my pics & music from my S4 Mini . The guy at the Sprint store supported me with the contacts, and also put all of my music/video/pics onto the 32G Micro SD that I installed in the phone about 18 months ago.
I have the Micro Card, the Micro SD adapter to regular USB for my PC. I've made separate folders on my PC from the card---Video-Music-Pics, but there's some stuff I'm not familiar with that shows up as well.
My question is, what mode does my new S6 need to be in when I transfer this stuff to the phone?
I will say that some of the music (I have a LOT) wasn't set up very well in my S4 Mini and thats my fault for being in a hurry, but it did what I wanted it to do. I have the S6 plugged into my PC via charging cord/USB, and the Micro SD is in another USB port on the PC---
