I had some pics on my phone transferred them to sd card now pics saying missing files? it happened when i done my software update said didn't have enough memory on phone so put pics to sd card. the pics were important now cant get them since done update cant use the sd card wont mount to phone or computer?

if it is possible to view photos that have been transferred from the phone to a laptop. I have wanted to transfer photos from my phone to my laptop but when I try to view the photos on my laptop it only shows the thumbnails so you have no way of knowing what the photos are? Just wondered if there is a way of fixing this or is the phone just not capable of doing this

(I didn't interrupt it) now I can't view any pics in the gallery. If I look in file commander they are there as thumbnails but I can't view them full screen.

Firstly I transferred my apps to that but there is no any problem with that.then i moved my photos and videos to sd card. It was 100% complected.then i after restarts the phone all photos are gone. And videos are shown in videos but i tried to play them then I got massage cannot play.
Then I used file commander and go in to the sd card in DCMI folder there is no any thing. Videos are shown but i cant play. Then I removed sd card from phone and I copied some photos and videos with computer. Then I put sd card into the phone i got same problem again. There is no any problems with the photos which are saved in internal storage. I got the problem after I transferred them in to SD card.
I have just transferred data to an SD card -which I have done before with no problems- only this time it decided to move most of my apps which I have had to re install as I couldnt access them and it has moved photos which I now cannot find.
How do I find the photos as they are not in my album? Or has it wiped them completely? If i hadnt just uploaded them to facebook I would have lost them.
The icons for messenger, ebay and instagram are now not the actual icons and are just file icon. Its made a complete mess of my everything on my phone and I need the photos as i use many of them as visuals for business. How can I find where they are stored and can i transfer them back to internal storage from the sd card?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got a new Galaxy S5 about a year ago and put my old SIM card in it to transfer my contacts. The SIM card was used in a Motorola Atrix HD and a Nokia Lumia 520. I need to update and delete some of the original contacts that I put on the SIM card when I was using the two previous phones. However, my Galaxy S5 simply will not register any of the changes. If I choose to delete one of the contacts, it says "The contact will be deleted" but then nothing happens. If I try to edit one of the contacts, it says "Unable to save contact."
This issue only occurs when attempting to edit contacts that were added to the SIM card on either of the two previous phones. If I try to edit or delete a contact that I added using my Galaxy S5, everything works just fine. It sounds like this is an authentication/security issue of some kind, but how do I get around it?
So I got a new Samsung Galaxy s5, and transfered an SD card to the phone. I decided to move all photos from the SD card to the phone, and some seem to have dissapeared during the process. Have checked all the folders in the phone, but still cannot find them.

If the phone has gone back to sleep from non-use the location cannot be found. Location History shows me driving across town just fine, even though the phone is on standby on my belt for the trip. Last Monday night, I called the phone not too long after it was stolen and it went straight to voicemail. Later that night I suspended service. I went ahead and called the insurance I have for the phone and got another s5 delivered on Wednesday for a $99 deductible. I activated the phone that evening and it's been working fine since then.
I tried installing android device manager app on my new s5 and it wasn't able to locate my stolen s5 and my current s5.
I picked up my new S6 from the Sprint store yesterday. I almost have all of my parameters set, outside of my pics & music from my S4 Mini . The guy at the Sprint store supported me with the contacts, and also put all of my music/video/pics onto the 32G Micro SD that I installed in the phone about 18 months ago.
I have the Micro Card, the Micro SD adapter to regular USB for my PC. I've made separate folders on my PC from the card---Video-Music-Pics, but there's some stuff I'm not familiar with that shows up as well.
My question is, what mode does my new S6 need to be in when I transfer this stuff to the phone?
I will say that some of the music (I have a LOT) wasn't set up very well in my S4 Mini and thats my fault for being in a hurry, but it did what I wanted it to do. I have the S6 plugged into my PC via charging cord/USB, and the Micro SD is in another USB port on the PC---

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if there was an easier, more streamlined setting I am missing where you can save the pics you download from 3rd party apps right to the memory card. I have been downloading them and then manually moving them to the memory card but its always a hassle. The normal camera app gives you the nice setting to have them auto save to the memory card so that's awesome. Though I am wondering if other apps I use can do this too?

A while ago, I transferred a folder of photos that I have on my Sony Vaio laptop to my iPhone 4s through iTunes and now I'm trying to get rid of it but I can't, I can't even delete it on my phone. I can't really remember how I transferred the folder in the first place, but I remember that I did it through the Photos tab on iTunes and ticked a box that allowed me to select an album that I wanted to transfer. And now when I try to go back to the photos tab, the box isn't there, it's like I never transferred the folder in the first place.me delete the folder of photos from my iPhone?

I have a blackberry 8520. I started having a problem with my memory card recently. When I connect my phone to my computer I can transfer music and pictures to my memory card. But once I disconnect it, I can't get anything i.e. the music folder is empty as well as the picture folder&video folder. I've formatted my memory card, and redid the process and still its the same problem. Taken my phone apart still the same problem. And I've checked and in my settings it says my memory card is inserted even shows how much space I have left etc. I can't even store any pics I take or see them on my phone I can't even rename them cause it tells me that operation isn't allowed on a read only file. I've checked my settings and its setting is everything must be saved to my memory card even changed the amount or size of pics. Even changed the type of pictures that can be taken from super fine to normal.
