I gave my daughter my s6 last weekend and I purchased another today. Noticed on mine, even after a FR, the screen grid size is there but greyed out. Same on my daughters.
So I have some contacts with outdated phone numbers. When I open up the contact in question and then hit the edit tab I often don't see the number(s) that need to be changed or deleted. Across the top of the screen right under the "save" and "cancel" tabs I see a horizontal list of where this contact has an entry - - Google, Phone, Cloud, WhatsApp. Sometimes the phone numbers I'm looking for are in one of these but there seems to be no way to edit these as the entries are greyed out so they cannot be changed.
FWIW on the main Contacts setting I have it set up to only display Gmail linked entries.
How to get rid of incorrect phone numbers listed in any given contact entry?
Why is the option to move some apps grayed out? I had a launcher installed that would ask me if I wanted to move apps, but I deleted it. Now I can't move anything because the option just isn't there. Galaxy S5, lollipop ....
I have been using the fingerprint scan security for a week or so and I decided it's just too laggy to keep using. Now I can not figure out how to go back to just swiping up top unlock the screen. The section labeled "swipe" in the settings is grayed out.
Lately, pictures in my Messages+ app won't display...and then they will...and then they won't Not all pictures and not all the time. It happens with all recipients (sent and received). I can click on a photo and it will display. Come back to it in the same session and it won't. Rebooting the phone didn't work. Clearing cache didn't work. If I use Application Manager to clear data, won't it remove all my texts?
Brand new to android and currently have a Samsung S6. I am wanting to transfer my holiday pictures onto my laptop of which there are about 200. I've connected my phone to the laptop, its scanned it and says there's over a 1000 pictures to import. Once i transferred them all there's pictures that aren't even on my phone. A lot of them are icons of apps, pictures from the game Top Eleven and some random Facebook pictures?? Why its doing this?
In the iOS version of the facebook app there is a camera icon next to the comment input area that allows you to add pics to threads etc. Is it possible to do this using the facebook app for the HTC One M8? This is the only shortcoming I have so far switching from iOS to Droid
I am wondering if there is a way to get contact pics to show for messenger conversions. I have my contexts synced with Facebook, but the pic do not show in messenger. I upgraded from a S3 and it did this but I can't figure it out how to on the S6.

To save some cash, I went and downgraded my phone. I still have my iPhone. I have a few pics on there that I forgot to download to my computer before it was disabled. Is there any way that I can still get these pics off the phone if it is not in service?
I just tried the sync to cloud thing, and now I have my entire 9000 plus library on my phone! I don't want all the photos on my mac on my phone. I just want to download a few pics from my phone to my computer.
Why is it that I cannot view pics on the forum but if I open the link in a browser such as Chrome it shows but not via the AC app. Does it take a while for the pictures to Load? I have tried both on WiFi and 4G but nothing comes up. A pic is attached for your reference. I have a Galaxy S6 64gb, running 5.0.2.
The following is a screenshot of the thread "Galaxy S6: show us your pictures" or something along those lines...
I have many photos in Picasa, sorted into many folders. On the S5, it displays all the picasa pics as one folder. On my S3 it displayed the folders individually. How to display the pics in folders?
