Had my curve 9300 for about 2 months or so now. Originally had an iphone 4 and simply got a new sim with the same number and put it in my new phone.Everything has been working on it fine. Until i got home from work yesterday and 'SIM Card rejected' and 'not allowed mm6' appeard. My signal bar also says SOS.

I have been using Curve 9300 for over a year now. This BB is given by my organization and is locked to Vodafone India.I installed a update to some app a few days back and after installing it the BB asked me to reboot to install the app. I clicked yes and since then it does not reboot. It just shows the red default Vodafone screen (BB being locked to Vodafone India). tried removing the battery. Didnt work. Tried to drain the battery and recharge it before rebooting but didnt work either.The strangest part is that if I remove the SIM card the BB boots perfectly but is practically useless w/o the SIM card.

After this problem, I had sent this to service centre and they said that since new software update has come hence my phone is having this problem and they said it will take 10-12 days to fix this problem All my phone numbers are in this phone and what will I do for 10-12 days without phone?I connected to laptop and updated the Black berry software through update however still no solution.
Today I upgraded the software hoping this will fix this NO SIM recognition issue but no use. This issues had occured in past also but for strange reason was rectified in past.
How to access pictures that are on my card, they were taken with my previous phone. With that phone, it had a basic explorer-type interface but it looks like it's supposed to add them automatically with my Blackberry curve 9300. My videos are there, as are my ringtones but not the photos.

Anyway on my old 9300 the app world memory was massive which I thought was my memory card but now on this newer 9300 the app world won't use my memory card to store apps, just the very measly 256MB, is there any way I can make it use my memory card on app world?

Everything played and was working fine.I then uploaded and deleted some music files through the bb pc software via the usb cable. Now everything seems corrupted and none works properly. It asks for a password (and uses that word, not PIN or PIN2) and restricts entry to numbers only, and only four digits long. No generic PINs or specific PINs I've set work. I've even locked my PIN2 and unlocked it with a PUK2 code from T-Mobile so I could reset it to a PIN of my own and that number doesn't work, either, even after giving it a few hours to settle in because the rep online said it could take an hour or two. how to enable call barring so I can enable or disable international calls whenever I want? I got 2 messages today from the same person on my newer unlocked MB511 that were both "rejected". One message was about 1kb in size and the other was about 32kb. I assume the first was just a text message and the second one might of had a picture attachment. Eventually I lost the messages trying to find a setting that might of been turned off. I am using AT&T's Go Phone serivice and had no problems with my old phone. I have received other text messages on this phone with no problems but none with attachments. With this new phone I have apps running so the phone does not use data services. I also have that free "Lookout" app running. I tried to shut that off and tried getting the messages again and nothing changed. Do I have to have data services turned on in order to receive text messages with attachment's?

I bought the device a month ago and had a brand new battery installed in no later than yesterday.Battery life is about 3 to 5 hours at the very best, whilst I am not using any specific 3rd party application.In addition, the "clock" apprears on a very frequent basis, slowing the system dramatically.I do not have any files saved on the media card ... Wi-fi has been disabled already as have Bluetooth. LAt, connection the mobile network is fine so I do not believe it has to do with the device desperately seeking connection.PS: I am based in France with SFR being my provider.

I wondered if there is someone that can help me. I have an iphone 3g and have my aol email account set up on the phone. It was working fine before I went away on holiday but since I have returned I am unable to send emails as iit keeps saying that the recipient has been rejected as the server does not allow relaying. I did not use my phone while I was away except for texting so didn't change any settings. I have read through similar questions and have tried all of different things suggested (turning off wifi, although it was never on wifi it was using 3g), making sure that both the primary server and the other SMTP servers are set as on and the details are filled out but still nothing works. Originally it was only set up with the primary server ticked as on and I never had a problem with it. I've also tried turning the phone off and on again several times and tried the power off and holding down the home key at the same time.

There is one person in my contacts that I cannot text. It always comes up with a red x and says "Short message transfer rejected". The person can still text me, though, and I have no trouble calling the number. It only happens with this contact.I have tried deleting the contact and re-adding, taking out the battery and sim card, but it doesn't work.
