trying to sync my blackberry 9300 with my mac contacts!I have got the latest version of the blackberry desktop software (2.0.1) and have tried uninstalling, removing all blackberry entries, emptying the trash and reinstalling, but every time it syncs, the sofware syncs calender, notes and task with no problems However, on trying to sync "contacts" I constantly get error "sync error" trying re-syncing .

I believe I recently updated the BlackBerry syncing software and now I am getting errors when I try to sync. Some errors say I don't have permission to a folder and some errors are just general sync errors. My Calendar seems to be syncing OK but not my contacts or my memo pad.

Both accounts are also set up in Outlook 2010 on my PC where they both are working. Why should one AOL email account work and the other not, have both been set up the same way.

However recently I've been noticing a problem with the charger in which I've had to wiggle it around to make the phone charge. However I tried it with the USB cablbe before and the USB slotted in fine and did not seem loose at all. I guess it's the charger that's broke? Perhaps the cable is loose or torn inside or something?Should I just get a new charger?

I installed the Yahoo mail app so that I could sync my Yahoo contacts to the HTC. On my phone I have unchecked all the Contacts except for Yahoo(my main contact list) in the People App. On the phone everything is fine. I have checked "Last Name First, so that all my contacts are listed by last name. Now the issue is when I connect my phone to my car through Bluetooth. When I view my phone list on the car, the vast vast majority of my contacts are listed 4 or 5 times. In addition, all my contacts are listed by First name, not last name on the car.

My old device is a helio ocean. I was able to save all my contacts from my old device onto my computer in a ".csv" file. View 10 Replies View RelatedAs the title states, I noticed yesterday that new/updated contacts and memos are not syncing back and forth between my hosted Exchange server and my BlackBerry. I confirmed that they're syncing fine between PC's through the Exchange server, but nothing is being pushed or pulled from my BlackBerry.
I called my host last night, and they got me to go in and update some settings. Under the DNS Manager they got me to 'Restore Defaults' on MX (Mail Exchanger). The two that I circled in the picture below were missing until I did the restore.
So that was last night, and the syncing is still not happening between my BlackBerry and the server. I also confirmed (funny how tech support never asked me this) that wireless reconciliation is enabled for both contacts and memos. When I did the restore it did say that it could take an hour to take effect, and sometimes up to 48 hours. Maybe I just need to wait? It's been about 14 hours now.
Oh and side note, my howardforums subscription email notifications conveniently stopped as soon as I did this. I very much doubt that it's related, as all other email is being received fine.
I see all my contacts on my mac but they are not syncing to my iphone 4 plus I have my wife's contacts now syncing to mine. I have created a separate user account for her but I still get her contacts and not all of mine.

I'm working with Exchange 2003 SP2 and has been running fine up till last week. The E72 is updated with the latest software releases.Is anyone experiencing a similar problem and has a solution available?I have cross checked of course that contacts synchronizing is enabled on the device.Email, agenda and task do not have any problem.

I do see that Pkgbackup was able somehow to sync with Gmail as if I go to my contacts in gmail I can see PkgBackup however everything I try does not work. I have set it up in itunes to sync with Gmail but nothing shows up when I log into Gmail.

All contacts that were In Active Directory as well as contacts that were on the users' accounts migrated but when we add a new contact through Outlook it does not sync with the Blackberry and if we enter a contact on the handheld it does NOT sync back to the web mail client or Outlook. Calendar functions are syncing fine both from Outlook to he handheld and from the handheld back to Outlook.

A long time ago this once worked and I had 126 contacts on my cell and in outlook. 2 crashed laptops later I have never been successful to get those 126 contacts back in Outlook. I have 2 email accounts set up on my Blackberry. I have tried deleting the service book, deleting and reinstalling the BB Desktop Software and it will only sync the contacts from my gmail account (26 entries) and not the one from my verizon (126 entries)
