I would imagine this has been asked, but could I get a BB off of ebay or something and "clone" mine? Would I ever be able to run 2 at once on the same account? I have had recent experience with "wiping" the phone and was wondering if I could get a tour or something and "upgrade" myself.

I go to setup wizard and go to email setup and i get to the part that says if i have a password for the enterprise activation. And that's as far as i get, cause obviously i don't have a password and this phone is for personal use not business use. Any and all help is appreciated.

I have since then registered the phone to the internet network (Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table) and I still cannot send/receive e-mail through my Blackberry.net registered e-mail address.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my Verizon 8330 to Nathanix 5.0 Hybrid. I like the features of this OS, but now the Application Memory is almost full (I keep getting the screen that prompts me to select apps to delete) and it is running slow.
When I unlock it, it takes quite a few seconds to "boot up"; the hourglass is turning, but the keys and trackball don't do anything. This is really annoying if I recieve a SMS or email and want to check it really quick.
Also, it has been freezing up a few times a day, and I end up doing battery pulls.
I really like some of the features so I'm not sold on going back to my old OS, but this is annoying.
My mother gave me a blackberry curve 8320 from t-mobile that is unlocked. My current carrier is verizon. Can I use my new blackberry with my current provider?

The seller told me that the unit was free from Sun Cellular and was sell to him buy the previous owner. The unit is already openline/unlocked already. I'm using a smart sim card but when I tried to register my unit to [url]... I got an error that my unit is suspended or deactivated. I can use Wifi via hotspot browser but when I tried to use a facebook or twitter application I got an error "Your are currenty on the data plan service, contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan". I think the previous owner (which I don't know) is not paying his bill. Now I contact suncellular and as per them when the owner not paid their bills they only block the sim card and not the phone.
View 6 Replies View RelatedOk so I bought an env2 off a guy on craigslist. I dropped my old one in a puddle but I really loved my env 2 so I bought a used one from someone on craigslist. When I went to activate it I discovered it was on revol's network, I dont live in the city hence I can get coverage on revol. Still says verizon all over it when you turn it on and off. I am not very savvy with cell phones but I am with a computer. I took it to the verizon store and they tried to put new firmware on it but it didnt work. I have a tough time beleiving that it can go from verizons network to revols but not back, if anyone has a way that I can flash the phone back to verizon.

The phone does not currently have Kies installed (I don't even know if it is supported on this phone). And he can't install new applications because he has no data plan. Is he pretty much out of luck or is there some alternate way of doing this that I haven't discovered yet?

i have tried the host routing table, resetting the phone any everything, its just not working.
I used my 8520 curve with MTN without any trouble but with Tmobile now, I cant register my device. I've done the whole Host Routing Table routine several times and each time I get a message saying my device has been registered but when I try to add an account I get the same 'Device not registered' message. I've called Tmobile and they say all's fine at their end and they have no clue what to do next.

As checked in various forums, I did follow KB00510- to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network.
I also tried to follow KB05000 but couldn't becuase I was never able to set any Internet service e-mail account. I also tried following KB02830 - sending the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service but couldn't because I don't see an option of choosing Internet mail account. When i click setup-> email accounts, it automatically takes me to enterprise account. I also tried doing it from provider's website (url...) but the dialogue box asked me repeat the step of registering at Host routing table, which i already did earlier.
I just got a Blackberry last week and there's no option in the email set up for a personal email address add, only for a business one. how to change this?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a cable that will support internet connectivity through my Blackberry. I have the service from Verizon but my only option is a USB to micro USB cable. Honestly I'd LIKE to connect my iPad and so I bought the Griffin Charge and Sync cable but now I need a micro USB to USB converter (or a micro USB to micro USB cable). A lot of the cables and converters I'm seeing only work on specific phones or tablets (like Sony or Samsung) and Blackberry is never mentioned.
