I know that some third party apps wont work with a flashed phone. But what i cant seem to setup is personal email. I go to setup wizard and go to email setup and i get to the part that says if i have a password for the enterprise activation. And that's as far as i get, cause obviously i don't have a password and this phone is for personal use not business use. Any and all help is appreciated.

View 4 Replies View RelatedOk so I bought an env2 off a guy on craigslist. I dropped my old one in a puddle but I really loved my env 2 so I bought a used one from someone on craigslist. When I went to activate it I discovered it was on revol's network, I dont live in the city hence I can get coverage on revol. Still says verizon all over it when you turn it on and off. I am not very savvy with cell phones but I am with a computer. I took it to the verizon store and they tried to put new firmware on it but it didnt work. I have a tough time beleiving that it can go from verizons network to revols but not back, if anyone has a way that I can flash the phone back to verizon.

I have a Verizon Razr V3m that I would like to flash to Metro PCS. I am completely new to this process and need very easy to follow directions on how to do this. I do have slightly better than average computer skills so have a good understanding of how to do things.
Basically I need to know what program is best to download to do this, what the steps are to complete the process and what I should know before I start, ie: how to back up files from the phone that I am flashing, which files to back up, etc.
I would imagine this has been asked, but could I get a BB off of ebay or something and "clone" mine? Would I ever be able to run 2 at once on the same account? I have had recent experience with "wiping" the phone and was wondering if I could get a tour or something and "upgrade" myself.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my Verizon 8330 to Nathanix 5.0 Hybrid. I like the features of this OS, but now the Application Memory is almost full (I keep getting the screen that prompts me to select apps to delete) and it is running slow.
When I unlock it, it takes quite a few seconds to "boot up"; the hourglass is turning, but the keys and trackball don't do anything. This is really annoying if I recieve a SMS or email and want to check it really quick.
Also, it has been freezing up a few times a day, and I end up doing battery pulls.
I really like some of the features so I'm not sold on going back to my old OS, but this is annoying.
My mother gave me a blackberry curve 8320 from t-mobile that is unlocked. My current carrier is verizon. Can I use my new blackberry with my current provider?

View 11 Replies View RelatedThis is for my father-in-law's phone. He has just basic service, so no text or data plan. Bitpim doesn't appear to support it and I cannot find a USB driver for it. The phone does not currently have Kies installed (I don't even know if it is supported on this phone). And he can't install new applications because he has no data plan. Is he pretty much out of luck or is there some alternate way of doing this that I haven't discovered yet?

Honestly I'd LIKE to connect my iPad and so I bought the Griffin Charge and Sync cable but now I need a micro USB to USB converter (or a micro USB to micro USB cable). A lot of the cables and converters I'm seeing only work on specific phones or tablets (like Sony or Samsung) and Blackberry is never mentioned.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought a LG Dare (vx9700) from a friend. I have the metropcs network. I took it to a store and they where able to flash it and get voice and text. I later got the internet working thanks to this wonderful site. I never got MMS working but did not care to at the time. I could always receive MMS, i just could not send them. Considering the fact that i was so successful getting the internet to work, i figured i would give MMS another shot. I found a tutorial on how to get the MMS working through LGDownload, I only edited the MMS tab then i wrote the new config to the phone. However when the phone rebooted, I had nothing, no voice, no text, and no internet. Is there anyone on here that can help me or that is going throught the same problem?

I can move it up and down and side to side on the home screen, but if I try to open an application like facebook, bbm or even sound profiles, it will not move up and down. When I try to get to the main menu to do a hard reset of the phone, the trackpad will not move at all. I can go up & down, left and right in messages and e-mail applications that is on my home screen, but when I try to access those applications in the main menu it won't respond. I've tried battery pulls and entering safe mode with no results. I tried cleaning it with a business card. I took it to verizon who said they didn't know what to do. PLEASE HELP! I got this phone a month ago from a friend in perfect condition as a replacement and can't afford to get another one!
