I bought a Blackberry 8520 from black market. It's brandnew because it sealed and complete with accesories. The seller told me that the unit was free from Sun Cellular and was sell to him buy the previous owner. The unit is already openline/unlocked already. I'm using a smart sim card but when I tried to register my unit to [url]... I got an error that my unit is suspended or deactivated. I can use Wifi via hotspot browser but when I tried to use a facebook or twitter application I got an error "Your are currenty on the data plan service, contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan". I think the previous owner (which I don't know) is not paying his bill. Now I contact suncellular and as per them when the owner not paid their bills they only block the sim card and not the phone.

I buy an 8520 curve and when i want to register to you server it apears a message on the screen that tells me my account is suspended or deactivated! The phone is originaly from France, and now i wan`t to use it in Romania whit Orange Romania service provider!
My aunt had bought me a Blackberry Curve 9300 from Dubai. I'm from the Philippines. And I can't register my Blackberry. I tried to send a registration message thingy but it didn't work.
when I try to register one of my BBs on bis.eu.blackberry.com I get an error telling me "that I can't use a computer browser" and "to use the BB to create the account".When I try to register through BB I get another error that sounds like "operation not permitted"I registered an other account, for a different PIN/IMEI just a couple of weeks ago..what's happening?
I would imagine this has been asked, but could I get a BB off of ebay or something and "clone" mine? Would I ever be able to run 2 at once on the same account? I have had recent experience with "wiping" the phone and was wondering if I could get a tour or something and "upgrade" myself.
When I go on BBM a message pops up "Blackberry Messenger faield to register with the BlackBerry Messenger service. Registration is necessary to use the features of this application. Please ensure your devise time is correctly set, open the My Profile screen and check the Blackbery Messenger registration status."
i have tried the host routing table, resetting the phone any everything, its just not working.
I used my 8520 curve with MTN without any trouble but with Tmobile now, I cant register my device. I've done the whole Host Routing Table routine several times and each time I get a message saying my device has been registered but when I try to add an account I get the same 'Device not registered' message. I've called Tmobile and they say all's fine at their end and they have no clue what to do next.
I have just got my blackberry curve, and am working through the set up wizard and it only allows me to set up a business email with the blackberry enterprise server.
I keep getting the error message: Messenger failed to register with the Blackberry Messenger service. I have checked the dates and also rebooted by removing the battery for a while.
I downloaded bbm 7 and now it says that it failed to register with the blackberry messenger service, it also says make sure that your device time is set correctly or open the my profile screen and check the blackberry messenger status and I can't find it.

I have a 9300 and it won't let me register my fsmail.net (orange) email account. Don't really want to open another account as I have had this for years!
I changed my phone from iphone to blackberry Curve 9220. I am using Airtel postpaid plan for data. Not, I am able to see edge in blackberry but I guess if it is not caps (EDGE), it means service provider is not registering it.
As checked in various forums, I did follow KB00510- to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network.
I also tried to follow KB05000 but couldn't becuase I was never able to set any Internet service e-mail account. I also tried following KB02830 - sending the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service but couldn't because I don't see an option of choosing Internet mail account. When i click setup-> email accounts, it automatically takes me to enterprise account. I also tried doing it from provider's website (url...) but the dialogue box asked me repeat the step of registering at Host routing table, which i already did earlier.
I just got a Blackberry last week and there's no option in the email set up for a personal email address add, only for a business one. how to change this?
I got my curve 8900 as a gift, and I ust applied for a data plan. I was told i had to register it online and when i did, i got an error prompt saying:
cannot create account, your internet service is suspended or deactivated.
I called my service provider and they told me that my data plan has been activated and that i should just keep trying. Thats what i hav been doing for the past 24 hours, only go get the same results. I called them again and got the same answer.
I can not register a blackberry ID for accessing into app world. I have tried two ways. one is using computer; other one is using my phone(torch).they do not work. and they said the registration page has moved or deleted.
So, I don't know how this works when you order the new iphone 4, but when you pickup at att or apple they will open the box for you and register everything for you at their office. So if it was delivered then do I just simply switch sim cards? My wife and I are both eligible for an upgrade. We both plan on upgrading to the iphone 4. My wife is currently using a BB with the BB unlimited data plan. Att says that you can keep your unlimited data even when upgrading, but is that for current iphone users? (Can she switch from BB unlimited data to iphone unlimited data?) My wife is not a big iphone fan and I'm scared she might not like it so I was wondering if I had to sell it will att allow her to switch back to her old BB or does she have to stick with it since she upgraded?
I just bought an unlocked bold 9780 a few days ago but for some reason i can't receive the Register e-mail, I tried with another IM Card but still can't receive it. I tried going to a Blackberry technical service and they told me that the smartphone might be reported by RIM?

I bought a Blackberry Storm 2 9950 from Verizone in USA 16 months ago, and after two months that I went to live to Mexico. I got my BB unlocked and I was using Movistar services with out any issues until two months ago, that I started facing issues to get connected.I went to check this with Movistar carrier here in Mexico, but support guy told me that because it is a device from other company they can not help me with any configuration issues, or support for it. He suggested me to throw it to the garbage and buy another from its company.
I recently (24th Sept 2010) purchased a Blackberry Curve 8520 on Orange PAYG. The main reason for doing so was the internet and BBM applications.Upon attempting to register with Orange for BIS (£5 per month deducted from your credit - quite good value i though) by ringing through to customer services and asking them to activate it, i was told it would take 24 hours. I've been told this everyday up to now (28th September 2010) and so far it has not been activated. Today however i did feel asif i got somewhere as i recieved a message from Blackberry saying that my handheld had been registered with my network provider. But still nothing is working. My credit has not been deducted, but i do now have "GPRS" in the top right hand of my screen whereas before i had "gprs". I've tried to activate my BIS through the www.blackberry.orange.co.uk website but I just get told..

When I turned on my iphone 4s for the first time I wasn't given any options about icloud or registering. The woman in the shop did something. So when I hooked it up to my windows pc, to register it with itunes, I can't seem to be able to do it.
