I cannot seem to register in Blackberry service of my network provider. I inquired about it with my network, the customer service people told me that everytime i register to pay per use blackberry service,different keyword is seen in their system.

I go back to the Host Routing Table and send the registration email but it doesnt solve the problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI changed my phone from iphone to blackberry Curve 9220. I am using Airtel postpaid plan for data. Not, I am able to see edge in blackberry but I guess if it is not caps (EDGE), it means service provider is not registering it.
As checked in various forums, I did follow KB00510- to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network.
I also tried to follow KB05000 but couldn't becuase I was never able to set any Internet service e-mail account. I also tried following KB02830 - sending the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service but couldn't because I don't see an option of choosing Internet mail account. When i click setup-> email accounts, it automatically takes me to enterprise account. I also tried doing it from provider's website (url...) but the dialogue box asked me repeat the step of registering at Host routing table, which i already did earlier.
How do I register to BES? And if I already register and forget about my password and server address how do I activate BES on my curve?

I've done the whole Host Routing Table routine several times and each time I get a message saying my device has been registered but when I try to add an account I get the same 'Device not registered' message. I've called Tmobile and they say all's fine at their end and they have no clue what to do next.

o2 say that all settings on the phone and their internal networks are correct. I send off to register the device, I never recieve a message back from BIS
I've been trying to get this sorted for 7 days now and I am so close to throwing the thing in the bin. Are there any RIM/Blackberry employees on this board that can take a look at it or tell me why the service book message just isn't being sent?
FWIW I bought this phone off a friend, on the same network and PAYG and everything worked fine with their sim, I put mine in and it just won't work, no matter what.
I've wiped, reset, downgraded OS, upgraded OS, gone over all settings, talked to o2 online, by phone, in store god knows how many times, and all i get is "register the device" IT DOES NOT WORK!
EDIT: I have an active blackberry bolt-on/data plan with o2
So when i go on blackberry.orange.co.uk to register my blackberry so i can use the internet i click new account, enter BB Pin and IMEI numbers then click continue it says "Cannot create account, your device is not registered with your wireless service provider".
So on my BB i go to the Menu > Options > Device > Advanced System Settings > Host Routing Table > Menu button > Register new.
It then says "Registration message sent!" but nothing happens and i still can't create account?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have been facing this problem this the last couple of months.. whenever I travel and get into the roaming network, my phone doesnt connect to the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) because of which i cannot use BBM or any other internet based application. As soon as i am in local network, it gets connected to BIS. I have tried everything..data service while roaming is on.. have switched off phone, removed sim and restarted. Last evening I visited Vodafone store, the guy put my sim in another blackberry device and it got connected to BIS. However its doesnt get connected on my device. He suggested me to do a data wipe which I did, still am unable to connect to BIS.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have BB Torch 9800 provided by DU (service provider in Dubai) and travelled to Canada and took plan from Rogers (service provider in Canada) to use my device there and for getting my mail was getting error message that my device is not registered but took to Roger shop and the guy fixed it immediately and now I am back in Dubai and back to DU and getting same message that my device is not registered though I have manually registered it but no use at all. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 9630 Tour Verizon which I am using in India on the Vodafone network.The phone was working fine for the first 10 days or so.I am unable to use the data services on the phone for the past 7 days. I have checked with vodafone and they say that they have checked their systems and as per their system all my services are active.The have asked me to hard re-boot the phone by removing the battery and SIM card. But this has not solved the problem.Then they asked me to go to options -> advanced options -> host routing table ->register now. The screen then shows "Registration message sent". But nothing happens beyond that and I have not received any message from BB that my phone has been registered.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought the 8330 about six months ago and purchased the High-speed data package from Sprint. I have confirmed with my provider that I do have the high-speed data package. I noticed that the phone is very slow while connecting to the internet. I took the phone into the store where I bought it which is a Sprint dealer.
The person working there said the problem was that.I only had a 1X for radio signal and I needed a 1XEV. He messed with the phone for about an hour and even talked to support while I was in store. We tried re-provisioning several times and numerous other things. Eventually I was told by support that the particular Blackberry I owned did not support EV(EVDO) service and I would have to purchase a new phone.
I just got a Curve 8520 today, everything seemed to be going alright until I tried to sign into Gmail, it didn't work. (This has happened before on another non-BB phone -- So I didn't think much of it) Then I tried to log in to the Yahoo Instant Messenger on the IM folder.Each one (MSN, YIM, AIM) gave me the error message of 'Service not Enabled for this Handheld device" I looked on Google, YES I do have a data plan, I went to my service provider about a different problem, (Close enough, it was about emails), and I DO have the Data plan.

Every time i click on it to open, it comes up with a message saying "Your device does not currently have any Browser Service Book Entries. Everything is fine, my BlackBerry PIN is clear for any carrier and the BlackBerry plan is active. I even activated the BlackBerry World Class Booster for using it abroad. Is it possible that RIM register my device manually? How much does this cost if I use the case by case service?

Now the only issue I am having is registering my ESN to their network in order to use it. I am somewhat confused as to how I am supposed to do so. I called the customer service number provided on their web site and asked the young lady what I needed to do in order to use my phone on their network. She really didn't understand what I was asking, but she did promptly try to sell me a new package with a free phone. I need some clarification on this subject in order to finish the setting up of this phone.
I stopped at the part where you have to change your ESN:
"After changing your SPC code to six zeros "000000" and writing the new Cricket PRL on to the phone, do the ESN change through Cricket (ESN = Electronic Serial Number)". I want my daughter to be able to use this phone since it has given me such good service since I have had it for almost a year. I know they do work on the Cricket network because I have done my research, but I need some input from those of you who have inside information on how the process works with the activation of the phone.
I bought my phone one month ago unlocked. Then I used it with a Claro (Argentina Operator) for 15 days. After a very long international call my number run out of credit and I got my accont disable. The problem is that after that moment the SIM card cannot register in the operator network anymore. If i try the SIM in another device it works. If i put a working CLARO SIM on my Z3 it doesnt work. But if I insert another operator SIM in my device it works! When i search for network i can see all the operators network, but it fail to connect to CLARO operator.

My previous 8900 worked fine? I have been on the phone with the carrier the entire day and they have not been able to resolve it. All i did was change the device in the BIS website and now it is broken.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have attempted to register my new Photon Q numerous times, logging out, logging back in, and approaching from several different angles using different "Register" links on different pages, and trying MEID and IMEI.When using MEID HEX the server will check the S/N and reply that my IMEI S/N is in warranty, then several seconds later it will overlay the screen with a complaint from the server:"There was an issue with the serial number you entered or it was blank. Please try again."One can dismiss that complaint and continue with the attempted registration, selecting carrier, MFN, and Primary Device, adding purchase date and clicking submit, but that only take one to abject failure:"There has been an error with your request."Perhaps it is because the Photon Q is so new? Perhaps it is because your registration page has a problem.
