BB Curve :: Helpful Hints For Getting Email After Update

I followed everyones suggestions about going to mobile.blackberry.com and then going to mail and following the prompts.But it would not work.I could not figure out why.I have several emails on this phone.I figured out today that I had to delete all of them EXCEPT 1.Once I did that,I validated the 1 I had left and it worked.I then had to go and re set up the other emails that I have on the phone. Just a heads up for those who have work, and personal emails sent to your phone.
I just used my upgrade on the verizon blackberry tour 9630, I'm a big texter and absolutely LOVED my env2! Any helpful hints? Advice to a new user? I actually will not get my phone till next week.
My E75 built-in browser is not working. After I open the "Web" tab it gives the list of bookmars, but as soon as I press left soft key it either exits back to the menu. And the other web-related icons (Download!, Files on Ovi; Software Update) don't work. Moreover, Download! reports "Unrecoverable error".
It started on 201.12.01 firmware, thought that update would help. 202.12.01 brought no changes.Factory reset wasn't helpful too. Tried uninstalling Opera mobile 10 beta, changing language, also - no changes.
I updated my BB Curve 9330 last night to the new system. I orginally had 3 emails on my device but now it will only show 1 and when I go to verify my other emails it doesn't work. It keeps saying that it cannot connect and to try again later. I've tried several times and it keeps coming up with the same error message. I did a try and redownload the software but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really need to get to my emails.
After the update downloaded and while my two email accounts linked to my Blackberry still show up under email setup (under setup icon), I'm no longer getting emails. One email (gmail) icon shows up on my main screen but my other email acccount icon is gone. I thought I'd setup my emails again but when I go into email setup, both account addresses are there and both asking for a password (?). I even tried to change the password but, when I use the help instructions how to do this, there is no menu items for what the help suggests I try. I can't even delete the email addresses to try again.
I performed a software update on my phone last night and it erased my email account. When I go back to reactivate my account, it asks for my password but will not activate. How can I reactivate the email account?
I just ran the recent software update for my phone and my email settings were gone. When I tried to reset them/ i keep getting an error message of "Sorry unable to continue your session. Please log in again" when I click the verify button. I even tried to delete the emails I have set but it does not give me the option from the menu screen. Has anyone experienced the same issue and have a way to fix it? Other than downgrading the update and seeing if that fixes the problem?
Updated to the latest software this morning and synced etc. all was good accept there was a box in setup stuck at 55% uploading for my contacts. So after leaving it for a couple of hours etc., I just cancelled that part of the process as everything including email was working fine. Since that however I now have no email push! It is asking me to reactivate although it still sees my 2 accounts Email Accounts (2) shows in set up but when i enter it states that there are no email account activated. I try to reactivate them however only give me the box for enterprise accounts not internet based account i.e. hotmail. I try to activate and it eventually tells me that this fails. All has been working with my emails since i got the phone absolutely fine until today!
I seem to be having the same problem as others with the email setup application.
When I updated my Blackberry to the new OS6, I went to my email setup and it said "looking for updates" It finds a new update from my already installed email setup app 6.0.0 to the new 6.11.0419.0755.
When I click "download" it says replace existing version? I click "yes" The it says: "com.rim.bis.client" contains a different version of module "net_rim_bis_client" which is also used by email setup application. If you proceed, "email setup application" may cease to function properly. proceed?
If I click "yes proceed" it crashes my blackberry and it will not reboot and I have to do a complete hard reboot, wipe the device and reload everything from my backup on blackberry desktop.
If I click "no" not to proceed, I cannot open the email setup application.
I have tried downgrading to version 5 of the OS, I have rebooted with a battery pull, crashed my blackberry twice and spent hours reloading all my applications and systems. I am at the end of my rope, and I don't know what else to do?!
If there was a way to turn off the automatic search for updates on my device under the setup and email settings, i think I would be able to set it up in the older version 6.0.0
When I try and set up a new email address I get a "Update Failed" error message. The email address is valid and works fine on my computer. The same email address also worked fine on another Blackberry device previously.
I have been trying to configure my blackberry curve 9360 to my OWA account since the past 3 days, tried almost all available permutations and combination of putting in details to the set up menu on "email setup" on BB.When I try to enter just the email address and the password, the error message I get is "Update failed!".But when I misspell my domain (xxxxxx@DOMAIN.com) and enter the correct password, it displays the "I will provide the settings" where it gives me the option to enter my OWA URL (https://mail.xxxxxx.com), user id (domain<username>, password .I am 100% confident that the credentials i entered is correct, but still the error i get while i submit for configuration is" Cannot log in. Please verify your email address, username and password"
I have a Galaxy s5. I have yahoo email and have synced my phone to my yahoo email account. My question is does the email on my phone update if the email ap is not open and active? if the email ap is closed will new emaits show up in the notification window?Or does updates and notifications only happen when the email ap is open on the phone?
My colleague had a blackberry curve 8900 and this was then passed to me as he left the company. My sim works in the phone fine but I am unable to set up my email as it says there is one already set up. Im no longer in contact with my colleague and not sure what to do. Is there any way of renewing this? When I go to email setup it doesnt have the option of create new email.
My blackberry is receiving the email of today and also the email of 2 months' ago (marked unread) . For example, it received new email of July 30 and automically load the old email of May 30 again to the blackberry. The loading of old mail happens everyday. The problem happens since my office PC was recovered the outlook data.
I gave my 8320 to my niece , however i have two email accounts and a tmo.blackberry. email email on the phone, she is not using a data plan how do i delete the accounts off the phone? I can not find the icon for setting up email? what do i do?
I used a Storm for the last 30 days, and had 3 distinct and separate icons: Messages - catchall for everything Desktop email icon 2nd/personal email icon However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?
Recently i've been having problems with the email that i've set up on my phone. I can send email but cannot receive it.I have a blackberry 8330 curve and am with verizon with V4.5.0.I've been reading other posts on othere forums of people having the same issue but they didn't really help at all.I did the battery pull many many times.I just don't know what wrong with it. also my world app doesn't show any application installed. i can deal with that once i get my email to work..
I am getting my sound alerts for incoming email from my Gmail account. Yet, when I go to read it, it's not there. I've checked other folders. I've done a hard reboot.

I've had my Curve BB for over a month with little to no problems (it stopped 'pushing' to my custom email a couple weeks ago, but I researched and resent the service books, etc. and it worked fine after that). Now, however, it has dropped/removed my two custom email icons. Poof. Gone. One minute they were there, the next, gone. I've already checked to make sure they weren't hidden. They're not. I went into email setting again and it no longer even showed them as having been set up - one of them being my home email that is pushed to my BB and the second being my BB email itself.
I am having problems with the email on my blackberry - every time I reply to an email, I get sent the original email (which I am replying to) to my phone again. Does anyone know how to stop this?
I live in Panama, and I use Telefonica services.Currently I have two accounts already set up on my phone, one is hotmail and the other of my university where I live.I want to add a new email account at Setup-Email Settings and it send me to the page = if you want to access your email settings or you changed your device log in. how can I add a new email account?
How do I establish two separate email folders for different email addresses, work and school for instance and have the replies from each folder come from that specific address?
Unable to receive incoming email to 1 email account on BB Curve 9330. tried several times Sprint support on phone and at store. Able to send emails from that email but it shows only on desktop. Other email accounts are running just fine.

When I send an email from BB and the person on other side replies the to field shows just my email address instead of name with email address. At first I thought it was because they didn't have me as a contact but that wasn't it.
I have had a notification icon for email on my phone for weeks. I deleted all messages yet its still there. I evenhad my phone replaced for another reason and its on the new phone.
My blackberry can send and receive new email/message, but I can't read any new email/message in my inbox even the email notification shown there are 17 new message in my inbox. Have check the Firewall setting and it has block anything. Have check all the email folder but no joy, didn't set any email filter.
I've bought new BB Curve 9300 couple of weeks ago and facing some problem regarding my inbox. After configuring my email in the smartphone I am sending and receiving emails are fine but whenever I open an old email address from my PC it receive as new email on the smartphone with new time and date. What is the solution to stop old emails receiving as new ones on the device?Does BB have such synchronizing system that BB automatically sync with the mail server and shows all old emails on the device?
