I constantly have a new e-mail notification in the top left hand corner on my Curve 8350. I've already tried removing the battery and I've thoroughly checked my e-mail and there is nothing new.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI would like to replace the flashing red LED (new message notification) with a constant red LED. It's a bit annoying having to wait ~5 seconds to see whether it's flashing or not. Constant red light would be much faster.
In the profile options I can only choose between flashing and off.Is there a workaround for this or are there any 3rd party applications that could accomplish this?
I have had a notification icon for email on my phone for weeks. I deleted all messages yet its still there. I evenhad my phone replaced for another reason and its on the new phone.

I have couple of email accounts like gmail, hotmail etc ... Whenever i received an email the counter shows the number. like lets say i got 1 mail in gmail and 1 in hotmail, the counter next to YELLOW icon on Top row shows 2.
I want to disable counter for my HOTMAIL account. Is it possible? So that even if i receive any email on hotmail, i shouldnt see the YELLOW mail notification on Top row of main menu.
How do I turn down the volume on my email notifications. It's too loud and annoying in the middle of a meeting! Which icon do I use to get to this option setting?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI switched SIMs on my 9300 the other day and I recieved a new text message on it which I read & deleted...I then put in my old SIM and the alert at the top of the screen (envelope with 1) that notifies you when you have a new message was still there!I have deleted all messages, emails, checked all folders, saved folders, rebooted (several hundred times!) yet the notification is still there.

It's not flashing, and the red flashing light for messages does appear with it when i have a notification, but the green light always returns... I've tried taking out the battery, but the green light is the first thing that comes on when the battery is replaced. |I then let the battery run down and then charged it again, but the green light remains... What is it? And how can I fix it?

Even apps don't work it takes forever to load and I get no internet connectivity but I still have the EDGE icon in caps and the network usage arrows working.

I get the hourglass and cannot do anything for ten minutes or more, sometimes it never goes away; When I want to use my phone I have to do a battery pull, and I'm talking 10+ battery pulls a day, literally.I don't have very many apps installed, all my media is on the memory card, and I always close every app as soon as I am done with it. Then, the device asked for a reboot - until now it is rebooting.What I see is the Blackberry logo, and the loading bar, accompanied by the red LED in the right upper corner flickering. There is no getting past that screen - once it loads completely, the screen goes dark, and it starts all over again.So inspired by similar problems posted here&in other tech support websites, I decided to download the Desktop Manager and try to update the OS. This is where I got hit by a second time - although it is connected via USB cable,the desktop manager won't recognize the phone as connected, the phone won't show up a selection screen as to what I want to do (storage/sync... etc.) Yet it asked for my device password, which I entered correctly, and could choose the Update option. But while downloading the update, it suddenly stops and tells me to either check my internet connection - which is UP - or try it again later.

Since the E72 home screen can ONLY fit 2 accounts (primary and secondary), my other 6 email accounts are left in cold. There are NO notifications whatsoever for these accounts - no flashing lights, no email icon on the bottom of the screen, no sound, etc.Yet, when I go into the email app and find the six other email accounts, there are new messages!Even on an old E61 there is email notifications on the home screen for all the accounts.Perhaps nobody in the Nokia development team has more than two email accounts?
