I have only had it af ew days (brought second hand) and it worked fine for the first day and I ordered a sim to go in and now its just not charging or turning on, I tried taking the sim out to do it too but it didn't work and it has a constant red/orange light on while its plugged in to charge. Also, I have tried leaving it charging for like an hour but it still just wont turn on..
View 2 RepliesI upgraded my phone to a blackberry cure 8520 about 3 weeks ago, and I haven't dropped it or anything. It has been very well taken care of. Now the screen is completely black, and its plugged in but the red light doesn't turn on and if I try to turn the phone on nothing happens (No White Screen, No Red Light, Nothing!) Like I said this phone is not very old, and it was working a couple of hours ago and had almost half of its battery power left. The problem happened after I plugged the blackberry in. It was fine until then.
View 2 Replies View Relatedlast night I took out my simcard and put a new one back into my phone (replacement for a faulty one) and when I went to turn it back on all I got was a solid red light for 2 minutes then nothing else.I looked on here and saw an answer about 'Kick-Starting' it (2 hours plugged in, remove battery for 15 minutes refit and leave for another 2 hours) but nope, that doesn't work, tried changing batteries, nothing Also tried plugging it into the PC using the desktop software and nothing comes up on there either?

It's not flashing, and the red flashing light for messages does appear with it when i have a notification, but the green light always returns... I've tried taking out the battery, but the green light is the first thing that comes on when the battery is replaced. |I then let the battery run down and then charged it again, but the green light remains... What is it? And how can I fix it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I woke up in the morning today, I noticed that my Xperia Z3 Dual only shows the led in red (constant, not blinking) when I plug in to charge. I cant power on pressing the Power button, cant even restart using Power + Volume buttons. I also tried the recovery procedure from PC Companion, power off then Volume and power on, connect to PC and autodetect... nothing works.
I have the phone since march 2015, only 3 months; all was perfect before this big issue: no software problems, battery duration was excellent (at least 1 full day), camera ok, both sim's detected and configured without issues, also no problems when wet my phonet.
My curve 8520 shows a constant white screen when switched on every thing seems to be working i receive and make calls normal but the screen just remains white.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got a 8530 from work and the second I plug it into my pc by the USB cord, it shuts the phone off and the red led comes on. Then the white spinning clocks comes on and then back to the red led and keeps resetting. It does this on both curves we just purchased for work. Same PC works without a hitch for a 9550 and a 9630 same usb cord. As soon as I remove the usb cord from the curves, they boot up fine. Any help would be nice.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen your battery is low your phone flashes a red light. However, my Motorola Cliq 2 has a solid red light that will not shut off. I have a full charge on my battery and no notifications pending. I did go into settings to try and change the notification led but nothing is working. I've noticed that the red light will not shut off when powering down the phone. After removing the battery the red light will go away but as soon as the battery is back in the phone the light appears again..even when the phone is off. I have tried to place a battery from another device but the light still appears with the other battery as well.

But this morning, when I went to unplug it from the charger, the green light was constantly blinking and it didn't take the charge. View 3 Replies View RelatedI plugged my 8330 in my computer to charge and it just shut off immediately.... now i cant get it to turn on... the red led comes on and then shuts off, the screen flashes white for a moment, then the led comes on again, and it repeats this cycle... it has turned on once since its been doing this and i tried to plug it into my computer to back it up, but it just shut off again and its been doing the cycle ever since. i already have a new phone i just need the numbers and stuff from my old one.... if anyone knows what might be happening please help me out.... i cant plug in the phone because when i do it shuts off.... im going to have to back it up using bluetooth. btw i can completely dissasemble the phone if necessary, its just a pile of junk right now anyway... all i want is my phone numbers from it so anyway u think i might be able to get it to turn, and yes... i have tried pulling the battery

Charged the battery up and phone worked fine and I turned it off before going to bed.
The phone turned on fine this morning and was showing a full charge. I did turn it off when I got to work and when I went to turn it back on when I went to lunch I got nothing. The LED glows briefly and faintly when I try to power the phone on.
I tried hooking to my car charger but with the same results.
Have had my 8530 for two months now and today I noticed that anytime I push a button on my phone for any reason I get a steady red LCD light. The LCD goes dark when the backlight goes out. The battery is charged and I can make phonecalls. I don't have any outstanding messages and have used the reconcile now option just in case. I scoured the net looking for a solution and the only thing I can find is to do a battery pull or disable the LCD. I definitely don't want to disable it, and I ran across one person who posted that when she did a battery pull that her BB didn't turn back on afterward--so I'm REALLY hesitant to try that!
I haven't upgraded anything on the phone. I was listening to Pandora when this seemed to happen, but I use Pandora every day.Any suggestions/thoughts? I'll do the battery pull if I have to, but I'm hoping to find other solutions.

I took the batter out, back in and tried the scroll mutliple times but it wouldn't work. It would always show the little white box and do software verification. View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen i talk on the phone the keyboard light fades away; however, the call, blackberry, back, and end buttons all stay on THE WHOLE TIME i talk. I have talked for 30 minutes and it stays on. I have all the settings to as low as they go and i have it to where the lights fade. I just cant seem to figure out if this happens on everybody's phone or its just mine and i need to get it replaced. I have had no other complaints on this phone and the battery lasts a pretty long period of time for me but i know that if this issue gets fixed it would last even longer.
