BB Curve 83xx :: Wont Turn On - Plugged In Computer To Charge And It Just Shut Off Immediately

I plugged my 8330 in my computer to charge and it just shut off immediately.... now i cant get it to turn on... the red led comes on and then shuts off, the screen flashes white for a moment, then the led comes on again, and it repeats this cycle... it has turned on once since its been doing this and i tried to plug it into my computer to back it up, but it just shut off again and its been doing the cycle ever since. i already have a new phone i just need the numbers and stuff from my old one.... if anyone knows what might be happening please help me out.... i cant plug in the phone because when i do it shuts off.... im going to have to back it up using bluetooth. btw i can completely dissasemble the phone if necessary, its just a pile of junk right now anyway... all i want is my phone numbers from it so anyway u think i might be able to get it to turn, and yes... i have tried pulling the battery
When I hit the power button on the phone to make it sleep, there seems to be a very small chance that the screen will shut off, then immediately(within a second) turn back on.It could be placebo but I think having music playing makes it happen more often.
I'm wanting to leave my AC wall charger at home as I don't want to lose it. USB cables are a dime a dozen so I figure I can take the mini USB cable with me and no biggie if I lose it. My question is, can I plug my 8330 into any computer via the mini USB cable and charge it? don't want to sync or anything, just charge.
I have a question. I have my friend's 8330. For some reason, it won't turn on when I charge it. It has a weird charger port. Could that be the problem? I tried a different battery from an old 8320, and it didn't work. Not even the red LED will light up. The screen won't do anything either.
my iphone 4s will not charge or be recognized when plugged into the computer after the ios 5.1.1 software update why is this? i have used many usb cords also.
My Iphone 4s is dead. I plug in it to the charger and the battery pops up on the screen, after a couple minutes it powers in but will not charge I ttmried to reset it and it powers off but will not power back up the battery pops back up..

Phone won't turn on. Doesn't show 'battery' when plugged in to charge. It was in my holster, next to my body. It had 90% charge when I put it on. 5 hrs later I found it off, and it won't turn on. What do I do?
I think I will need to bring this to an Apple store for investigations, but would anyone have any hints to what might be causing this issue? For about two days, when I shut down the phone, it immediately starts itself up. Ironically when its plugged into my MBP using the USB cable and I shut it down then, it will remain powered off. The minute I remove the USB cable phone starts up. I performed a full restore, including DFU mode and nothing. Secondly, the battery is draining at an incredible pace. i.e I charge it at night to 100%, than by morning (7 to 8 hours later), its at 70%. I have maybe 3 or 4 notifications running with Bluetooth off. I can't imagine this being a sudden issue especially where in the past the phone can be in standby for days.
To put it shortly, is it a deffective connector or battery? Either way I am in Warranty mode till Oct 2012, so hopefully can get a replacement if faulty hardware.
My iPhone 5S charges fine when USB plugged in at wall but when plugged into computer nothing happens. I have tried using a different cable and computer but the same results. Any way to fix this as I would like to sync my phone again?Â
All of the sudden, when I plug my 8330 in, the charge icon is there...but it does not charge.I tried with both a wall plug and usb to the computer...same.
When I bought my first computer in 1998, it was a used Dell. The specs were 378 Mhz processor, 128MB of ram and a puny little hard drive. Couldn't do graphics worth a dang. It froze up less than my Curve.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8320. Yesterday night, the "battery too low for radio use" sign appeared. I plugged it in for about an hour but the sign would not disappear so I did a battery pull. Radio turned back on, but now the phone will not charge. The lightning icon still shows up by the battery but it is stuck at 5%. Any suggestions?
It seems like it happened after I plugged my bb into the computer for the first time. My wall charger will not charge my phone. I know it's not a problem with my charger because I was able to charge my old razr with the charger. And i've tried numerous wall outlets, so it's not the outlet I was using either.
My phone charges when I plug it into the computer, so i'm not sure whats going on. I just got this phone a few months ago after having problems with my oldd blackberry.
I don't want to have to get rid of my bb, because for the most part I love it, so has anyone had to deal with this? And maybe fixed it without having to spend money?!
I was given a BB Curve 8310 to attempt a repair. When I attach the USB cable to the BB the system tray does not pop up with a notification that says "found new hardware" like it normally does when you plug a BB in. When the phone boots up it displays error msg " JVM Error 513". I attempted to looking into the device by using "cracmem" and "JL_Cmder" and no data is to be found and thus there is nothing to wipe. I suspect that the device has already been wiped thus the no data. I have pulled the battery from the phone and reinstalled; unplugged the usb cable during the BB boot process and nothing is happening. The DM application loader will not allow me to procede due to computer not recognizing the BB device thus it is not generating the "USB:UNKNOWN".
it wont show up wen i plug it to the computer i tried other computers i tried different usb cables,my old 8100 blackberry connects no problem,but my 8330 doesn't i dont understand it my computer charges it but it wont show up
I having the same problem with my computer not recognizing my blackberry, so first I went my sprint store to see if it was the phone. After an. Hour it wasn't the phone, so I thought about it and said my midi recorder and ipod cord wouldn't connect. So came home and clean my computer and uninstalled programs that I wasn't using. So after an hour of that it still wouldn't pop up, so I also uninstalled my usb drivers and still result. So I believe its my usb cord so imma try another cord when I get paid. I'm running vista and tried the DM and everything.
I wanted to add some songs to my BlackBerry 8300.. Well, I plugged the cord into the device and then the computer, and for some reason, the BlackBerry is not being recognized when I click "computer" I tried restarting, shutting down, different usb ports and even different cable.
I have only had it af ew days (brought second hand) and it worked fine for the first day and I ordered a sim to go in and now its just not charging or turning on, I tried taking the sim out to do it too but it didn't work and it has a constant red/orange light on while its plugged in to charge. I used to charge my BB using a cradle. Last week I went back to using the USB connection. Now, every time I
a) turn it off
b) charge it via USB
c) turn it on.
The Mobile network comes up as off.

So, I plugged my phone into my PC. I opened the Windows Phone App for Desktop and the phone asked for me to enter my password. I entered the password and it went to the home screen, then shut down. It sat dark for a second then showed the AT&T Logo, and then went black again. It's been about an hour, and if the battery were dead it should have already shown the battery symbol. It had enough battery power but just shut off and wont turn back on, even after charging. I tried to remove the battery and put it back, still nothing, only the red light indicator is steadily on. What needs to be done to restore the device?
My Blackberry Curve 8330 is having a problem with the voice dialing spontaneously turning on. Occasionally (about 1/4 of the time) when I try placing a call, the sound is muted-- as in I cannot hear ringing on the other end. When I hang up, the phone initializes the voice dialing feature. It continues to pop up up at 3 second intervals, at which point I can no longer receive or place calls. I can write texts and receive them, but because the voice dialing keeps popping up, texting isn't an easy task! This continues all day and I must restart the phone for it to stop (does not work all the time).
I have a blackberry 8330 and the flash won't turn off for some reason. I lost it in the snow a few months back but everything works fine other than the flash. I went to camera flash settings and turned it off but nothing. Even when I turn the phone off it stays on and wares down the battery.
My names is Jon and I'm new here I just purchased a Blackberry Curve 8330 (Boost) and I don't know how to turn the volume down or up while playing, when I press one of the keys it skips to the next song or previous but volume I just can't find
I need to know how to turn on and off the ringer on my 8330, not matter what setting I have it on it does not ring, it vibrates. I am not sure if I turned something off or what but I have tried everything I can think of.
I posted a description of a problem I'm having on another BlackBerry forum, and although several suggestions have been offered, no solution has been achieved. Thought I'd try the CrackBerry community to see if I can get the problem solved.After installing updated BlackBerry desktop and device software yesterday, the arrangement of icons on my screen had changed, so I was moving them around to be in the desired locations. In the process of moving the Turn Power Off icon, it simply disappeared instead of showing up in the new location. A responder suggested that it might be hidden and to try Show All. I had no Show All option - just Move, Hide, Add Folder, and Switch Application. Another suggestion was that I might have moved the missing icon to a folder. I have three subordinate folders, and it's not in any of them. It's also no longer on the main "desktop". The next responder said to try a battery pull. That had no effect, and the icon was still missing. The next suggestion was interesting - switch to a different theme, see if the Turn Power Off icon is there, and then switch back to the original theme. I've been using the Verizon theme, so following the suggestion I switched to the BB Dimension Icon theme.
Guess what - a Turn Power Off icon showed up, along with the other icons that were completely scrambled compared to the way I had organized them with the Verizon theme (and there were no subordinate folders). I clicked the icon to power down and then powered up again. The BB Dimension Icon theme was still active, and a Turn Power Off icon was still present. Next I switched back to the Verizon theme. There was no Turn Power Off icon to be found anywhere. I am ready for another suggestion. Can a theme become corrupted? If so, is there a way to refresh it?
Three or four days after a phone restart, I cannot turn WiFi off, it immediately turns back on. Seems like one app is doing this, how do I find it?
Details: I have an HTC One M7 on Sprint. It’s not rooted. After the recent update to Android Lollipop, I cannot turn the WiFi off.
It’s not as black-and-white as it would first appear, the WiFi on/off feature will work for 2, 3, or 4 days after the phone is hard restarted.
During the initial 2, 3, 4 day period of time, (it’s inexact, I’m still experimenting) WiFi on/off works fine. After the 2, 3, 4 day period of time, the off won’t work. What I see in settings, the Wi-Fi On/Off button with the green triangle never goes to off. On the settings screen when you two-finger swipe-down, the square WiFi icon when clicked, the concentric power waves will turn off for a second or two, then come right back on. And the WiFi icon in the status bar constantly shows a connection when trying to turn off.
