IPhone :: 4s Won't Turn On - Doesn't Show 'battery' When Plugged In To Charge
Jul 1, 2012
Phone won't turn on. Doesn't show 'battery' when plugged in to charge. It was in my holster, next to my body. It had 90% charge when I put it on. 5 hrs later I found it off, and it won't turn on. What do I do?
My Iphone 4s is dead. I plug in it to the charger and the battery pops up on the screen, after a couple¬ minutes it powers in but will not charge I ttmried to reset it and it powers off but will not power back up the battery pops back up..
HI my 4 S doesn't take the charge any longer, and sometimes when I turn it off and plug it, it takes a little bit of charge but doesn't hold it long, and the phone get super hot. What should I do to fix that problem, I have donwload all the last version and the phone is only a few months old.
I got a defy at September, and since then it's about the 3rd time that I plug in my phone at the end of the day, I go to sleep, and when I wake up the phones battery is still at the same percent as it was, and the battery and the back of the phone is really (I mean REALLY) hot. When I take off the charger and put it back, it starts to charge.
I had this problem a couple times before but it happens way more frequently since the update to 5.0I've searched the forums and found a couple others with this problem, but no one seemed to know what the issue is.
Sometimes when I plug in the charger, the phone will not charge. The phone will go into bedside mode (with the clock displayed) and the little battery icon in the corner will have the little yellow lightning bolt in it. Then... nothing. It doesn't charge and sometimes seems like it DRAINS the battery.
Then battery will completely drain and auto power-off. When I plug the phone back in the screen goes all white with a large battery icon in the center of the screen with a blue lightning bolt through it. According to what I have been reading here, some think it is a faulty battery and some think it is a faulty USB port.
A few weeks ago my charger started showing signs of needing to be replaced. So I went to my service provider and they didn't sell any actual Xperia x10 chargers so I bought a universal charger. So now I'm on my second charger, and my phone won't charge. Any time I plug it in or even get it started it either turns off or the battery starts draining instead of charging. I don't know what to do with this phone. There is no water damage and I haven't even had my phone for a year.
I plugged my 8330 in my computer to charge and it just shut off immediately.... now i cant get it to turn on... the red led comes on and then shuts off, the screen flashes white for a moment, then the led comes on again, and it repeats this cycle... it has turned on once since its been doing this and i tried to plug it into my computer to back it up, but it just shut off again and its been doing the cycle ever since. i already have a new phone i just need the numbers and stuff from my old one.... if anyone knows what might be happening please help me out.... i cant plug in the phone because when i do it shuts off.... im going to have to back it up using bluetooth. btw i can completely dissasemble the phone if necessary, its just a pile of junk right now anyway... all i want is my phone numbers from it so anyway u think i might be able to get it to turn, and yes... i have tried pulling the battery
I just got my iphone 6 plus (ios 8.0.2) yesterday and start to charge on 11pm until the next day morning 7am. But i found that the battery was 100% but never go to fully charged. Then i just leave it there for another 2 more hours to charge. But the result remain the same (battery 100% with the little lightning bolt symbol beside it). May i know is it some hardware problem or anything else i need to do to make it 100% fully charged? I've off the wifi as well as the cellular too.¬

So, one day I couldn't find my iphone. I look and look and then I finally find it just sitting on my bed (upper bed). I try to turn it on and it does something weird. If it's dead, it will show the dead battery and the connection sign, but it didn't do it this time. It just stays black. I attempted to do the two button reset but my home button has been messed up for a while, sometimes it works but most times it doesn't. I tried plugging it up and keeping it plugged, nothing changes.¬
Is there some way I can open it to fiddle with the home button to maybe try and get that to work? Also, I'm using the OS 6.x not 7
I found my X peria ray with low battery (~10%) and it will automatically turn off and cannot turn on unless charge the mobile!! what happens to the hp?? any setting problem?? or the battery problem ?? only recently found this problem!! in the past, I can use the phone even with 1% battery!
While I'm using my xperia z2 and charging it, the battery doesn't charge. Example " start to use it at batter 30% , after one hour ,while I'm using it, still 30% not only this but also sometimes it get lower.
I ran my ipod all night and ran the battery dead, when I plugged it in the phone never beeped that it was charging and the indicator showed it needed a charge. Now it's totally dead and won't take a charge at all?
Could I have damaged the plug in socket on the phone? I've tried 3 different cords, and my 12v plug my 110v plug and plugging it into my computer. I got nothing???
Can it be taken a part and cleeaned? where the cord plugs into the phone?
This just started happening about two weeks ago. I would plug it in at night like I normally do, and the icon would show that it's connected but not charging. Also, every once and a while a message will pop up and say the device does not support the accessory even though it's the charger it came with.
When I plug in my iPhone 3GS, I think it syncs to iTunes but it doesn't show up in the application sidebar like it used to. I just recently upgraded to Snow Leopard. I have not had to chance to get Lion and it might be a while. I'm on a school network, so I don't want to set up iCloud. I just want the events that I add while on my MacBook iCal to be transferred to my iPhone iCal. This transfer is not being made for some reason and I need to see these events while on the go.
For a while now, my iphone 4s will not stay connected to the iMac.¬ It will register when I plug it in to the USB port, but after a minute it will just drop connection.¬ I tried to backup it into iTunes but it kicks me out when the connection is lost.¬
Today I tried to sideload the OTA update to Android 5.0.1 (because my Nexus is root and it would not let me update normally), but there was an error saying missing file in system.img. So, after that, I got stuck at Google logo screen. I entered stock recovery (I never installed a custom recovery) and wiped cache, with no luck. Did a data wipe. No luck. So I tried flashing the factory image for Android 5.0, but right after flashing the bootloader, the device turned off (or it appeared to), the script showed "waiting for device", and the phone never came back. Now it won't turn on at all. I don't know what to do ...
