My Iphone 4s is dead. I plug in it to the charger and the battery pops up on the screen, after a couple minutes it powers in but will not charge I ttmried to reset it and it powers off but will not power back up the battery pops back up..

View 1 Replies View RelatedI plugged my 8330 in my computer to charge and it just shut off immediately.... now i cant get it to turn on... the red led comes on and then shuts off, the screen flashes white for a moment, then the led comes on again, and it repeats this cycle... it has turned on once since its been doing this and i tried to plug it into my computer to back it up, but it just shut off again and its been doing the cycle ever since. i already have a new phone i just need the numbers and stuff from my old one.... if anyone knows what might be happening please help me out.... i cant plug in the phone because when i do it shuts off.... im going to have to back it up using bluetooth. btw i can completely dissasemble the phone if necessary, its just a pile of junk right now anyway... all i want is my phone numbers from it so anyway u think i might be able to get it to turn, and yes... i have tried pulling the battery
View 4 Replies View RelatedAbout an hour ago my phone turned off unexpectedly and wouldn't turn on. I didn't really think much of it but I was a bit worried as the charge was on 96% so it couldn't have run out of charge, also i'd had this phone for almost 10 months and this hasn't happened before. It's currently been on charge for 30-40 minutes and I've reset it a few times but all that happens is the Apple logo comes up, then after 1-2 minutes it disappears and nothing else happens. It also keeps randomly resetting itself without me doing anything but all that happens is that it goes off, AGAIN.

I have an iPhone 3gs that is out of warranty. I purchased this phone from AT&T. Last night my phoone went completely dead (battery percentage was at 96% just moments before) and now will not turn back on. I have tried just about everything I have found on discussion boards- trying hard reset, plugging into itunes, charging for15-20 mins then holding down sleep and homebuton..... NOTHING works. I've had Xperia Z2 for almost two months now, today when I was at work I noticed that it was off, although it had more than 40% of battery still remaining. I tried turning it back on but as it didn't work I figured something was wrong with it.
I tried hard reset and it did vibrate three times, but it still wouldn't turn on. I thought something drained the battary and waited till I got home to charge it. Now that I am at home it doesn't even charge, none of the LED lights work, it won't connect to pc companion either and hard reset now does nothing (as in, it doesn't vibrate 3 times anymore).

I tried volume up/down+power button combination, hard reset, held the reset button for longer than 15 sec, I removed sd card and sim, nothing works the phone is just lifeless. I haven't dropped it or used it intensely, it never overheat or anything of that sort.
I've tried charging my Nokia 1020 for 8 hours with no luck. After that I tried the 2 key and 3 key reset with no luck as well. I tried to plug it up to my computer but I got nothing there either. I am getting no indication that its charging and I'm starting to think I'm out of options. Is there anything else I can try? This just basically happened out of the blue, I turned it off and now it doesn't want to come back on at all...

On any other android devices I've owned, when you connect the device to my Mac with a USB cable, you get the option to change the connection type: Charge only, disk drive, usb tethering (or HTC sync, for HTC devices).
On the M8, When I connect it to my Mac, I get a notification saying "Media device [MTP] connected", and another notice saying "USB connected - Tap to change settings". The MTP notice doesn't do anything when tapped. Tapping the USB connected notice, takes me to the Mobile Hotspot & tethering settings page. I've got "Mobile Hotspot" and "Bluetooth tethering" both turned off. "USB network setting" is set to "None". There doesn't appear to be an option to specify charge only.
On the Mac, it mounts a filesystem containing only the HTC Sync Manager (which won't run, because it was compiled for old PowerPC Macs).
I have a black iPhone 4S that will only turn on if it is plugged into either the mains or the computer. After reading various forums on the net I came to the conclusion that it was either the battery or the dock connector, so I replaced them both! View 1 Replies View RelatedI had this problem a couple times before but it happens way more frequently since the update to 5.0I've searched the forums and found a couple others with this problem, but no one seemed to know what the issue is.
Sometimes when I plug in the charger, the phone will not charge. The phone will go into bedside mode (with the clock displayed) and the little battery icon in the corner will have the little yellow lightning bolt in it. Then... nothing. It doesn't charge and sometimes seems like it DRAINS the battery.
Then battery will completely drain and auto power-off. When I plug the phone back in the screen goes all white with a large battery icon in the center of the screen with a blue lightning bolt through it. According to what I have been reading here, some think it is a faulty battery and some think it is a faulty USB port.
I got a defy at September, and since then it's about the 3rd time that I plug in my phone at the end of the day, I go to sleep, and when I wake up the phones battery is still at the same percent as it was, and the battery and the back of the phone is really (I mean REALLY) hot. When I take off the charger and put it back, it starts to charge.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am posting this thread for a friend who is having some serious issues with her BB 9700. It is a phone that was purchased from TMOBILE that was unlocked so that she can use with her Service provider. During this week gone, she plugged her bb into her PC and an error came up. the PC asked if to fix the error or contnue without scanning. She selected the latter. Then yesterday, when she plugged her phone in to charge it immediately shut off. After putting it back on she plugged it in again to charge and the same thing happened again. Since then, she is unable open her pictures in her media folder- She can only preview it.Also when she tries to send a picture via BBM she only sees two of the pictures that she has on her phone and is unable to select any of them to send to a contact.She also isn't able to change her profile picture in BBM.She has done countless battery pulls and the issues stated still exists. she was however able to charge her phone without it shutting down this morning. But all other issues mentioned still exists.She is running the OS that came with her Phone 5.0.0.330. She had an issue with her Phone previously and when she took it into our service provider they had to downgrade her OS back to stock for it to function properly.If anyone has any solution to the problems stated please reply to this post. Any help would be deeply appreciated. If anyone has had a similar problem and was able to fix it please let me know what u did. Also if anyone has any solutions that they think may help please let me know.

So I went to my service provider and they didn't sell any actual Xperia x10 chargers so I bought a universal charger. So now I'm on my second charger, and my phone won't charge. Any time I plug it in or even get it started it either turns off or the battery starts draining instead of charging. I don't know what to do with this phone. There is no water damage and I haven't even had my phone for a year.
