Motorola Defy :: Phone Gets Hot While Plugged In / But Doesn't Charge
Nov 9, 2011I got a defy at September, and since then it's about the 3rd time that I plug in my phone at the end of the day, I go to sleep, and when I wake up the phones battery is still at the same percent as it was, and the battery and the back of the phone is really (I mean REALLY) hot. When I take off the charger and put it back, it starts to charge.

Jul 15, 2015OK ever since I connected my Bluetooth to a portable speaker device I've been having trouble with the external speaker itself. Usually when I watch YouTube videos or play music through the music app its more than normal loud. But now ever since my Bluetooth device connected to my droid turbo (Bluetooth has been turned off to watch videos) the speaker isn't loud at all. When I put my ear to the speaker grill I can hear the sound come out of my internal speaker for phone calls.

Sep 8, 2015I have had my Droid Turbo with Android 5.1 for about 6 months and recently it has begun to frequently refuse to charge on either the USB or official Verizon wireless charger.
I can set it on the wireless charger and both the charger and phone recognize each other, but in the morning...no charging has taken place.
I can usually force it to accept a charge by restarting the phone while on the charger.

Mar 8, 2015I found that after my phone has been on for a period of time (hours or a day maybe) my screen will dim but not go completely dark. That is, normally it dims after about 20 seconds, then goes off a few seconds after that - like it seems it should. But after some hours of use it will dim after a prescribed time period but never go dark unless I tap the power button. If I shut down the phone and start it up it seems to work properly again for a period of time before it starts exhibiting the same behavior.

Motorola Droid 3 :: Gets Hot But Doesn't Charge?
Aug 17, 2011The other day I plugged my Droid3 into the car charger and confirmed it was 'charging', showing 20%. An hour later, it was still 'charging' at 20% and was very hot. I unplugged the charger from the phone and checked the battery - it was at 20%. Normally, this phone would have charged 100% in an hour.
I plugged the charger back in - the phone charged properly.
Motorola Droid Turbo :: Not Charging Phone
May 8, 2015Over the last couple nights I've noticed that my Turbo won't charge overnight. I often read or play games before bed and it seems if I have a few apps open and then plug it in it won't charge. If I close all the apps down then I've never had a problem.
I've also noticed it freezing up at times and then rebooting by itself if I don't close open apps.
The phone is great and at this point I don't care about Lollipop. We've had 2 S5 go bad with Lollipop and until they get the bugs all worked out I'll keep munchin the kitkat.
