Each time I receive new email or text messages, the red asterisk does not appear on any of the email or test message icons. My Blackberry is on a Rogers Small Business Plan, not that it makes a difference, I hope.

How do I configure email to blink the notification light when an email is received? Also, I have 3 email accounts configured: Exchange and 2 Gmail accounts. I changed the Gmail accounts to sync email every 15 minutes. The Exchange account works but not the gmail accounts. Gmail has IMAP already enabled.

Recently I've been unable to access emails on my D2G. I receive a notification tone and light but when I go to email it tells me it can't establish a connection. I check the account and my password which should show as ******* now shows as ****************************. Who or what is adding the extra digits to my password. It's a yahoo/sbcglobal account. I've been having similar problems with corporate account at the office.

It seems to have been setup in error. It appears in email settings as check box as whether or not to use it along with work email account that does work. The "desktop" account does not appear in the email set up wizard. How do I delete the "Desktop" account. I have attached the pictures.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am using the Google calendar sync to push my Outlook appointments to my Google calendar, and then using the Google calendar app on my BB 8530 to download my consildated Outlook/Google calendar.This works great, except for one problem. When I receive an invite for a meeting via my Exchange email on my device, it automatically adds it to my calendar, hence creating a duplicate calendar item.
In my calendar options on my BB, the "Wireless Sync" option is grayed out and set to "No." (since I don't use a BES connection)
How can I stop my BB from adding items to my calendar automatically when it sees the calendar invite in my email on the device?
I have Verizon service and use webmail to sync my Exchange email.

Possibly, it is due to the phone being registered out of MI, with a MI area code, and the phone and myself, are actually located in a western state. I have couple of email accounts like gmail, hotmail etc ... Whenever i received an email the counter shows the number. like lets say i got 1 mail in gmail and 1 in hotmail, the counter next to YELLOW icon on Top row shows 2.
I want to disable counter for my HOTMAIL account. Is it possible? So that even if i receive any email on hotmail, i shouldnt see the YELLOW mail notification on Top row of main menu.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI switched SIMs on my 9300 the other day and I recieved a new text message on it which I read & deleted...I then put in my old SIM and the alert at the top of the screen (envelope with 1) that notifies you when you have a new message was still there!I have deleted all messages, emails, checked all folders, saved folders, rebooted (several hundred times!) yet the notification is still there.
