View 1 RepliesI would like my iPhone NOT to beep when I get a new email. I don't use the Mail app, and the Mail app is disabled in the Notifications menu.I do NOT want to disable ALL notifications, and I need my phone to be able to send emails from Camera and other apps, so I don't want to disconnect email. I just want it to stop notifying me of every single new email. If it matters, I use gmail and access my mail with Safari, not the Mail app. To reiterate, I have already excluded the Mail app from my Notifications center.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy wife has the Storm 1 and I upgraded the OS to 5.0 (The official version on the Verizon network). The problem is that when she locks her phone it will still beep like crazy if a button or screen is pressed. This happens alot when it is in her purse. With the older OS you could press the lock button twice and it would prevent the beeping maddness. With 5.0 you can't or we have not figured it out.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently been using car chargers (direct connect and a wireless version) with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and noticed a beeping noise while the phone is charging. This is really annoying while listening to music or Audible as the audio cuts out, beeps, and then audio continues. Also the screen turns on at the same time of the beep.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got a Motorola Elite Sliver headset, and it won't stop beeping. I get four quick beeps, then silence for about thirty seconds, then the beeps again. It does this whether it is paired with anything or not. it will stop during a call or listening to music, but when nothing is going on, the beeping kicks in.
View 1 Replies View Related1) I sent a message (saved on my BB)
2) I received a sent confirmation (the 'V' next to the message -> info from server it was sent and saved on my BB)
3) not received by recipient...
4) I finally received a received confirmaton (the 'R' appearing over the 'V' to say it was received -> info from the server that the recipient received my message, and this info, shown by the 'R' on my mobile, should thus most probably be saved somewhere on my BB as it is shown on my device, and was only shown when info was received from server!)But I do not know WHERE TO FIND IT??? (I only see when I sent the message)Now, we have to find where it is saved And I think we can only find it by plugging the BB on a PC and searching for internal logs...

I have to end the call and redial to recover from this.I think this happens when I receive a message during a call - I get a lot of messages as the phone is linked to several email accounts, social networks, etc.

I am using the Google calendar sync to push my Outlook appointments to my Google calendar, and then using the Google calendar app on my BB 8530 to download my consildated Outlook/Google calendar. This works great, except for one problem. When I receive an invite for a meeting via my Exchange email on my device, it automatically adds it to my calendar, hence creating a duplicate calendar item.
In my calendar options on my BB, the "Wireless Sync" option is grayed out and set to "No." (since I don't use a BES connection)
How can I stop my BB from adding items to my calendar automatically when it sees the calendar invite in my email on the device?
I have Verizon service and use webmail to sync my Exchange email.
I recently downgraded my curve 9300 back to OS 5, I know there is a setting somewhere that you can stop bbm messages from going into where I receive emails. I have stopped them twice, before upgrade to 6 and after upgrade to 6. Now i cant find where it is.Also when I downgraded back to OS 5, I came out with version 5.0.0, how can I check for a later version of 5?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I get texts they pop up on the screen as soon as I get them. This is bad because I have weirdo friends who send some weird messages and I dont want my parents or my little brother to see them. I had the same problem with my old C902 phone, I dont remember how did I did this. and Its different brand to brand.
How do I get it to just go to my in box instead of popping up on the screen? It is an HTC Touch phone.
When I'm on the phone with someone - anyone, regardless of locaton - I hear intermitent "beeping" sounds on my end of the phone. These are not system sounds or calendar alerts, they sound a little bit like feedback or R2D2 sounds. They come and go but sometimes they are totally annoying. I have asked the people I'm talking to whether or not they can hear the sounds, and they have reported that they can not. I called Verizon and they said they had never heard of this problem before.Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything that can be done about it?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone whistles softly and I don't know why. I think it might have something to do with it locking and unlocking? It didn't use to do this and only started when I set up my phone to receive my work emails. It's annoying because it makes a whistling sound even if the phone is on vibrate. I don't know how to change this setting and I'm not sure what even triggers it to make the whistling sound. I can't show my IT guy because I don't know what makes it whistle and he never seems to be around when it does whistle (he thinks I'm crazy now).
