I sent my shift rota on a email from my PC at work, Excel file, but my Blackberry would not receive the attachment. Said something about 'message truncated'. Total message was 8Mb. How can I stop this happening again. It hasn't happened on my other, non Blackberry phones?
View 3 RepliesI cannot receive any MMS messages when I am roaming. I received a text with a picture attachment and I could not download the attachment because it came up with an error that said I had no data connectivity. The 3g data symbol was up and blue in color and worked because I was able to text via data roaming.I can send and receive calls and text messages while roaming, just could not get the MMS picture. I had everything checked correctly, data roam and call roam were both checked. The only way I could get it was to get to an area where I had sprint service to download. Is this a known problem? Where I work deep in the building I am usually roaming.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had a 9800 with Rogers since June and everything was great until this morning, every email I receive is "Message truncated due to size" ... now before you start copy pasting the 5mb or 8mb stuff, these email are plain text, 2kb - 45 kb....
I even sent myself a plain text email with "test" as a subject and "test" in the body and still the same issue.
How do i open an attachment which is of Microsoft outlook message type? Attachment extension is .msg

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've bought and set up my new Bold 9900 yesterday. Everything seems to be working fine, but email reception shows me some problems. I'm receiving all my messages they are not being shown to full extent though. I have the following settings:
- Message Display and Actions, Auto More checked
- Email Preferences: Enable HTML checked, Download images automatically checked, confirm external image download not checked
Now, just for example I receive the "I can has cheezburger" newsletter which is about 45 kB and includes links to external pictures. The Bold doesn't load the pictures and it truncates the message and shows "Truncated 15397 bytes". "More", "more all" doesn't load the rest of the message.
1) I sent a message (saved on my BB)
2) I received a sent confirmation (the 'V' next to the message -> info from server it was sent and saved on my BB)
3) not received by recipient...
4) I finally received a received confirmaton (the 'R' appearing over the 'V' to say it was received -> info from the server that the recipient received my message, and this info, shown by the 'R' on my mobile, should thus most probably be saved somewhere on my BB as it is shown on my device, and was only shown when info was received from server!)But I do not know WHERE TO FIND IT??? (I only see when I sent the message)Now, we have to find where it is saved And I think we can only find it by plugging the BB on a PC and searching for internal logs...
On all the phones ive had i can see when a text message was sent to me and when i recieved it. i go in and out of signal and so i recieve random texts at differant points in the conversation, is there an update for this yet? its really annoying and really would like to be able to see the time the text was sent to me.

(no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.

It seems to have been setup in error. It appears in email settings as check box as whether or not to use it along with work email account that does work. I am using the Google calendar sync to push my Outlook appointments to my Google calendar, and then using the Google calendar app on my BB 8530 to download my consildated Outlook/Google calendar.This works great, except for one problem. When I receive an invite for a meeting via my Exchange email on my device, it automatically adds it to my calendar, hence creating a duplicate calendar item.
In my calendar options on my BB, the "Wireless Sync" option is grayed out and set to "No." (since I don't use a BES connection)
How can I stop my BB from adding items to my calendar automatically when it sees the calendar invite in my email on the device?
I have Verizon service and use webmail to sync my Exchange email.
I opened an attachment from an email I received through my BB. It was an Excel document. I accidentally deleted the email while using my BB and I cannot recover the email from my live account. Is there anyway I can recover the email from my BB?

When I select 'Donwload Attachement', it starts to download to file. It shows "0% donwloaded" for some minutes and failed with a cross icon before the filename.

i am not being able to download attachments on g mail so I removed the gmail app from my 9650 (OS 6) and went to set up my account through the BB email client.I have yet to receive a single email to my BB despite sending several test email from other email accounts.
