I've had a 9800 with Rogers since June and everything was great until this morning, every email I receive is "Message truncated due to size" ... now before you start copy pasting the 5mb or 8mb stuff, these email are plain text, 2kb - 45 kb....
I even sent myself a plain text email with "test" as a subject and "test" in the body and still the same issue.
Is there a way to setup a blackberry so that the e-mail in NOT truncated no matter how long the e-mail may be? or at the very least increase the amount of data shown before it gets truncated?
and the 2nd part to the question is, is there a way to download larger attachments in e-mails?
I sent my shift rota on a email from my PC at work, Excel file, but my Blackberry would not receive the attachment. Said something about 'message truncated'. Total message was 8Mb. How can I stop this happening again. It hasn't happened on my other, non Blackberry phones?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Galaxy S5. Really liking the phone so far. Forums/message boards displaying different text sizes on the same page. Attaching a couple of screenshots of what I mean.
On the first one, as soon as I touched on the "in my humble opinion", it shrunk to that tiny size (without opening).
On the second one, the op's text is readable, but everything else is real small.
Hoping it's just a setting adjustment that needs to be made.
Does anyone have an idea how to reduce the font size in the editor while ur typing a message in nokia X6.I can hardly see 5-6 words when i start typing.I tried changing the font settings to small but that does'nt change the font on editor.My dad has a nokia 5230 and the font in his phone while typing is small.Any help?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've bought and set up my new Bold 9900 yesterday. Everything seems to be working fine, but email reception shows me some problems. I'm receiving all my messages they are not being shown to full extent though. I have the following settings:
- Message Display and Actions, Auto More checked
- Email Preferences: Enable HTML checked, Download images automatically checked, confirm external image download not checked
Now, just for example I receive the "I can has cheezburger" newsletter which is about 45 kB and includes links to external pictures. The Bold doesn't load the pictures and it truncates the message and shows "Truncated 15397 bytes". "More", "more all" doesn't load the rest of the message.
My run workouts are being truncated, when I actually perform my run the display shows correctly but when I end my workout my information is truncated. Example went on a 7mile run everything displayed correctly but when I ended my workout the results show only 5.19 miles of my run.

That no longer works. I can however change the font sizes by pinching. What do I have to do to have the volume keys change the font sizes again? Or was that feature removed by one of the updates?

The text: The mailbox (my corporate e-mail account) is almost full. You should remove some emails from the box as soon as possible to prevent losing any future mail, or ask the admin to upgrade your account to have a larger quota. This mailbox is currently 91.94% (45.97/50.00 Megs) full. Also should I periodically clean /restore my mailbox in the blackberry or it is being automatically deleted after some date?

"The attachment file may be reduced in size" The picture no matter the size it was taken by the camera is drastically reduced in size. When viewing the picture on the recipients email the picture is very poor quality.

Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. Issue:When I recieve a text message instead of going to the latest message when i tap the txt icon in the notification area or on the icon on the screen it dumps me to the middle of the message where i have to scoll everytime to the bottom.. and since some messages are very LONG in thread, they take forever to have to scroll to the bottom.Torch 9800, Carrier:BELL, Software 6.0.0.695 (6.0.0.246).
It comes up as Uncaught exception: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException and I'm unable to text messages on my phone.
