View 3 RepliesGot the 4.1.22 update last night and it fixed my vibrate problem but I can't reply to emails anymore. When I open an email, click reply, the device opens a reply email (like it's supposed to), but then the screen flashes, and reverts back to the original email, and also puts a blank draft email in the draft folder. This is happening with my Activesynch account. My Gmail account works fine.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am looking for some help with one of our customer's phones. They have a Blackberry 8900 on T-Mobile and are unable to reply to certain emails. Recently, their email accounts were reset, due to a configuration error on T-Mobile's end. When we set her email accounts back up, her old emails are stored on the device in the messages folder but she is unable to reply to anything prior to the accounts getting messed up. New emails sent to her device are not a problem, those reply just fine and she is able to forward the old messages, just not reply to them.
She is running the latest device software for the 8900, I believe 4.5, we have resent service books and spoken in depth with T-Mobile's technical care department. No one seems to know how we can get this corrected so she can reply to her old emails.
When I originate an email from any of my email accounts from my Blackberry my signature shows up just fine, automatically. However, when I reply to a message that was sent to my Blackberry, often times my signature doesn't show up.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI cannot send when I reply to a message from my blackberry. There is no send option. Just save draft or full menu which does not have send function either. Need a fix ASAP.
Also, another wierd thing is I set up my profile so that I can have an alert when email messages come in and it does not work. All the other notifications work fine with that profile and the try me works fine but does not work when email messages come in.
I just got a new blackberry bold 9900. When I try to reply to emails the device only gives me the option to save the email and I cannot send the email. If I compose a new email I am able to send it normally. Why is the device not giving me the option to send replies? This is a problem because most of my email traffic is replying to messages.
View 1 Replies View RelatedCan somebody tell me why I cannot respond to emails? I can receive email but when I try to reply to it, it won't send - saying there is a settings issue. I have verified the settings and they are correct.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWe recently moved a client of ours back in-house with an exchange server. There are about 5 users that use BlackBerry smartphones. All of the smartphones were configured and activated without issue and are working fine... except 1. This one particular phone cannot reply to messages (Gets the red "X"). It can however compose a new email and send without issue.I've tried deleting the Desktop CMIME service book and resending, to no avail Full wipe and reactivation, to no avail I used the sendastool to reconfigure send as permissions for this user and repeated the steps above, to no avail.I'm just puzzled at this point as to why this one phone cannot send reply emails (again, sending new is no issue!) Granted, i'm not on location and am not seeing exactly what the user is doing, but he has been using his blackberry for years and knows how to send email/reply, etc.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got a Bold 9780 and I am able to send and receive emails but when I try to reply to an email I can type new text in the reply but don't get a send button on the screen. I get; change application, save draft and full menu buttons. I'm not using enterprise - just regular. I took my phone to 2 Rogers location last night and they hadn't seen this issue before. I have up to date software on my phone and desktop?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got the new bold 9700 and added my email account on it. For some reason my emails are going to my messages folder and not my deputy99@telus.net folder. I wouldn't mind this but I can't reply to any emails when they go to the messages folder for some reason.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI can receive emails on my unlocked HTC Desire S and can on my original unlocked HTC Desire but cannot reply or send fresh email on either. The settings are OK as they worked previously, in fact only minutes earlier on the Desire S.When satisfied it all worked OK I took the Vodafone SIM out of the Desire S and put it in the Desire to see if the email issue still existed. It did. I put the SIM back in the Desire S and the problem has replicated itself. Now all I can do is receiveI am reluctant to put the SIM in my unlocked Samsung Galaxy S2 in case the problem occurs again.

Is there a way to set my BB 9000 to delete the original text on emails automatically? It's really a hassle to go through the menu to delete the original text every single time...
View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently received a replacement Bold 9700. I have restored my previous phone's info that was backed up before.
I can now receive email, but I cannot send / reply to emails. The only option I get is to "Save Draft".
I upgraded to the 6.0 OS software this morning. I am not sure what happened but I am receiving emails and unable to reply to them. I have gone to the settings tab and tried to add my email and the phone either freezes or goes back to the main setting page. I have tried wiping the phone, doing hard resets and nothing is working.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince a few weeks I'm not able to reply on incoming emails. If I select reply, I can write my text but then there is no sent option in the menu. Just save concept. I've read somewhere on the internet that removing the cmime service book entry and after a minute replace it by via the menu. But this did not fix this problem. I have two accounts. One t-mobile and one gmail.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I am unable to reply to emails with one my email accounts. To be more specific I can type in my response but when I hit the menu the send option is gone. The only choices I get are "save as draft" and "full menu".
I used the search but was not able to find a solution.
I am thinking this started to happen when I DL'ed v5.0.0.602. I tried practically everyone option available. I did the following in hopes for a fix:
- battery pull
- service books
- deleted the email account & re-added
I even did this combo: service books, deleted account, service books, added account & pulled battery.
I use the Tour on the Verizon network. This morning I went to start a new email and usually I type the first letter and all contacts starting with a letter J for example will come up - - But nothing comes up! I checked my phonebook and all contacts are in there like normal, but my email won't pick any up. I can type the whole name of a person I want to email and it's not linking it to my contact list/phone book like normal.

This just started happening last week? I need to be able to respond and write emails to my boss and co-workers on a daily basis, especially when I am traveling.
I'm on my 2nd Torch - the 1st one had a defect when I tried to use the GPS feature that I subscribe to AT&T. When I did the even exchange, they were not able to transfer my info but luckily I backed up my old phone prior to going in.Now my problem is with my email accounts. No matter what ring tone/notification sound I pick - it doesn't notify me when I receive emails to my yahoo email account or my work email account.I've rebooted, deleted ALL apps...selected different ring tones but nothing.I receive the emails in my message list, but it never notifies me, which means I'll have to continuously check to see if I received work/personal emails throughout the day.And to top it off, I just discovered that I can't reply to my emails ANY emails from either account.I Menu click to 'Reply', but then when I menu click again to send, there is no 'Send' option. Only Save as Draft, etc.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSince I downloaded the latest BB update, more than half the time when I attempt to reply to an email, "Send" is not an available option. My options are: Cancel, Save or Full Menu. I usually end up redoing my message and using "Forward" as a way around this. What can I do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently updated my blackberry curve 9330 and when I go to set up the emails it won't let me. I've been trying to set them up for about three days now. I put in my passwords and when I press the verify button it configures for a bit then a message comes up saying: "Sorry, unable to continue your sessions. Please log in again." I log in again and it still doesn't work!
View 3 Replies View RelatedIf some one sends me an email, and I hit the reply button, I am allowed to type my response but the only choice i have when I want to send, is "Save Draft" or Delete. When I read the FAQ's, it indicated that I must go to the individual name that sent me the email, hit compose and then send. Before I reset and updated my BB software, I could reply no problem. Is there a setting I am missing someplace?

View 2 Replies View RelatedNone of the SMS messages i've recieved today have let me reply to them. Every time I want to send a reply i've had to start a completely new SMS. Typing a reply and pressing Enter has no effect, and typing a reply and pressing the Blackberry button (to get the menu up to select "send" from) does not work either.
Messages in my phone from yesterday and beyond are find, and I can reply to them in the normal way.
