Is there a way to set my BB 9000 to delete the original text on emails automatically? It's really a hassle to go through the menu to delete the original text every single time...

I think it is crazy that all recipients need to see yes or no answers & sometimes pay for all the additional texts. Likewise, I hate that you have to send a separate text back to the sender. There should be an easy fix, like reply or reply all. Does anything like this exist? Iphone 4S, iOS 5.1.

I just got a new blackberry bold 9900. When I try to reply to emails the device only gives me the option to save the email and I cannot send the email. If I compose a new email I am able to send it normally. Why is the device not giving me the option to send replies?This is a problem because most of my email traffic is replying to messages.

All of the smartphones were configured and activated without issue and are working fine... except 1. This one particular phone cannot reply to messages (Gets the red "X"). It can however compose a new email and send without issue.I've tried deleting the Desktop CMIME service book and resending, to no avail Full wipe and reactivation, to no avail I used the sendastool to reconfigure send as permissions for this user and repeated the steps above, to no avail.I'm just puzzled at this point as to why this one phone cannot send reply emails (again, sending new is no issue!) Granted, i'm not on location and am not seeing exactly what the user is doing, but he has been using his blackberry for years and knows how to send email/reply, etc.

I get; change application, save draft and full menu buttons. I'm not using enterprise - just regular. I took my phone to 2 Rogers location last night and they hadn't seen this issue before. I can now receive email, but I cannot send / reply to emails. The only option I get is to "Save Draft".
For some reason I am unable to reply to emails with one my email accounts. To be more specific I can type in my response but when I hit the menu the send option is gone. The only choices I get are "save as draft" and "full menu".
I used the search but was not able to find a solution.
I am thinking this started to happen when I DL'ed v5.0.0.602. I tried practically everyone option available. I did the following in hopes for a fix:
- battery pull
- service books
- deleted the email account & re-added
I even did this combo: service books, deleted account, service books, added account & pulled battery.
All of a sudden I am getting delivery status failures when trying to reply to work emails. The message in the email reads: Diagnostic -Code: smtp;550, Unable to add (email) because host is listed on RBL dnsbl.sorbs.net
This just started happening last week? I need to be able to respond and write emails to my boss and co-workers on a daily basis, especially when I am traveling.
I have the 9900 and 3 of my friends I do group text with have iphones and I can't respond to the group texts, it only goes to the individual when I respond. I continue to just send it on the original group text each time so they all receive it, but it shows up as a new text each time to them so starting a new thread. Is there a app I can download somewhere...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am unable to send out emails (inbound emails are ok) after setting up my Bold 9000 for Internet Service email (using the Internet login mode). Device/Host are already registered and Service Books sent repeatedly (via Internet and also directly by the local Operator) but no resolution yet.
1. The service books for the 3 email accounts (yahoo, gmail,...) I set up are 'ticked' OK for the ones tagged as CICAL but those tagged CMIME seems to be deactivated (no entry sign).
2. The device was already wiped out (via repeated login failure) before the email setup steps

Although wiped, some earlier corporate settings seems to remain (security policy still showing corporate entity version, user info fields are also blocked and remain blank) - I prefer not to have to wipe the device again due to data and settings already in place. I recently had to remove an email address and then reinstall it. Unfortunately, before I removed it, I forgot to highlight all my email as 'Read'.Having removed and the reninstalled the email address, rather than have an empty inbox and 0 Unread emails, I have an empty inbox and 41 unread emails. It's obviously still storing the old email somewhere or still picking up the unread count from somewhere but I can't work out where.
Could someone mail or pin me with a solution to this. I know someone out there will have done this at some stage!
I received a message to verify my password email account, to continue receiving emails, so when I got into configure email, my account didn't show up, that's why I configure it and add it again. When I am in the office I don't want to receive emails on my bold and through outlook on my pc. Is there an easy solution so that when I'm in the office I'll only receive emails through outlook and when I'm out of the office to my bold and outlook?
View 7 Replies View Related9000 Bold with ATT version V4.6.0.304 Platform 4.0.0.247...I get numerous emails to my laptop to; network@etp.us.blackberry.net..The emails say, "This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry Redirector and BackBerry Handheld. Pleae do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the BlackBerry Redirector."
Redirector shows that it is trying to "verify forwarding address" and has 30 some outstanding emails that it is trying to redirect.Biggest problem is that my Outlook cannot send and emails, and there are three outgoing emails that I cannot find that are clogging up the sending. I think that these RIM emails my be the culprit. I had this problem a month ago and it mysteriously cleared up after 7 days.

After literally spending two weeks with my service provider telephoning most time waiting in witing for a call center agent to get connected to and being each time transferred to another division to a last being transferred to the divission where I first started at speak meoving in a cricle and no one being able to help me and this whole theater every day the same for two weeks, I am turning now to the people here hoping I could find some answers
1) My provider in Switzerland is sunrise (BIS), so I went on to the website sunrise.blackberry.com and entered my existing accounts, 4 of them. Additionaly I registered a new blackberry email address to be able to use the true push service which is xx@sunrise.blackberry.com (xx being just a placeholder for my real name). The problem is though that I haven't been able to find out the mail settings I have to enter into my Mail Programm on my PC so I can access the emails on my computer. I dont know if it's a pop server, an IMAP server and not to speak of the mail settings of the server settings for incoming and outgoing email. Since it's actually a BlackBerry server I figured that the servers are BB managed (no one at Sunrise Switzerland even knew what BIS is or that you could receive PUSH mail with the Blackberry email).
2) I tried to register a new email address at https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html for a direct xx@blackberry.com email address thinking that maybe with this, it would easier to find infos about the settings. The problem here is that I have to enter my PIN (no problem) and ESN/MEID number. The Problem is that I haven't been able to find those numbers now mather how hard I tried; they are not even listed in options>status.
Can somebody tell me why I cannot respond to emails? I can receive email but when I try to reply to it, it won't send - saying there is a settings issue. I have verified the settings and they are correct.

I have a Bold 9930 on the Sprint network. I get a lot of mass text messages from friends where they may go back and on a subject. However, I can only reply to the "one" person that sent the message. I know two people with Bolds that can do it, but they have different network providers.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy bold has this issues in which it only allows me to send 70 characters in a text, the rest is full of random spaces I can't see, and some people end up getting blank texts from me. Randomly, it could be someone on ATT or sprint whatever, what should I do besides send my phone in? Im thinking about doing that since its on warranty for another month, do you recommend another Bold.....or should I get a Curve 8900....or try out a non blackberry device, or see if they have a Bold 9700 in stock?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI am looking for some help with one of our customer's phones. They have a Blackberry 8900 on T-Mobile and are unable to reply to certain emails. Recently, their email accounts were reset, due to a configuration error on T-Mobile's end. When we set her email accounts back up, her old emails are stored on the device in the messages folder but she is unable to reply to anything prior to the accounts getting messed up. New emails sent to her device are not a problem, those reply just fine and she is able to forward the old messages, just not reply to them.
She is running the latest device software for the 8900, I believe 4.5, we have resent service books and spoken in depth with T-Mobile's technical care department. No one seems to know how we can get this corrected so she can reply to her old emails.
When I originate an email from any of my email accounts from my Blackberry my signature shows up just fine, automatically. However, when I reply to a message that was sent to my Blackberry, often times my signature doesn't show up.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI can receive emails on my unlocked HTC Desire S and can on my original unlocked HTC Desire but cannot reply or send fresh email on either. The settings are OK as they worked previously, in fact only minutes earlier on the Desire S.When satisfied it all worked OK I took the Vodafone SIM out of the Desire S and put it in the Desire to see if the email issue still existed. It did. I put the SIM back in the Desire S and the problem has replicated itself. Now all I can do is receiveI am reluctant to put the SIM in my unlocked Samsung Galaxy S2 in case the problem occurs again.
