Have had the same problem on some of our Curves with the 7.1 update. They can't scroll through text message/message conversations using the trackpad. With the 9360s its fine as if we downgrade to 7.0 the problem doesn't happen, but the 9320s come with 7.1 so there isn't an option to downgrade.
View 1 RepliesI have a 6 week old Curve 9320, I have recently started having problems scrolling through chats on BBM. Everything else is fine but I can't scroll up or down to earlier messages in a chat.Also I sent a message to all of my contacts but it doesn't say I'm in a chat with every contact.
View 2 Replies View RelatedYesterday arrived the BB 9320 that i take with my carrier in Italy (Vodafone IT).I started it but when the phone arrive at home page there is a problem: the menu not scroll down, all the page not scroll down.I clicked on the bar over the icon and this open the big menu with all the icon: at screen there are 3 lines of icon, but down the third there are other two, but when i go down with the selection the other lines not scroll up, so i can't see the other lines of menu.Other situation: i open for example the option menu, in the lower right corner there is a little arrow with the tip pointing downwards to indicate that the page continues, so i scroll down but the page not go up so i can't see what there is under.

A few weeks ago I was on my phone and it was dying, I went to get the charger but it had already died. I plugged it in and turned it on but the scroller wouldn't move. It would click but no matter what I tried it wouldn't move. I looked it up and it said it needed to be wiped, so stupidly I wiped my phone. But still, nothing. It would just click. Now, it's stuck on terms and conditions and non-usable. I've had to use my old blackberry which is falling apart I tried looking again online to see if there was any other solutions and I came across one saying that the software needed to be update.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI did an OS update from my computer and when that didn't work pushed a complete wipe and reinstall with JL_Cmder. That sorted out the WSOD issues however the trackpad will now only work as a push button and not to scroll. I sent it off to be looked at by my carrier and they said water damage but I'm 100% certain it's not having looked at the parts myself as well as having been ridiculously careful with it: basically just think they are trying to avoid a replace on warranty!

I dropped my blackberry in water but there was no damage to it, but now when I explain it to my network provider they think it's because of the water damage. I haven't got a warranty on it, so water damage isn't covered. They said for me to do a software update. I tried it and still no luck.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having trouble lately with my BB Curve in that it will decide at least once a week that it does not want to scroll down at all in the internet browser. It scrolls left and right and goes back and forth between pages just fine, loads the page just fine, but it absolutely will not scroll down! Only a reset by taking out the battery will work to let me scroll down again until the next time it decides to stop working. It doesn't seem to be a specific website I go to, either. It just doesn't want to scroll down! It isn't a critical problem, but it certainly is very annoying when I have a few tabs open and lose all my memory because I have to reset it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had a Blackberry Curve 9360 for 3 months and all has been fine, sometimes the trackpad has been slightly wobbly but I wasn't concerned. Then this morning my 'a' key stopped working, followed by my keypad becoming very stiff during the day. Then I could only scroll across my menu but couldn't go up or down however that has stopped working now too! Now I am stuck on the search icon and can't move off it. I can type in 'text' to access my text messages and am able to scroll up and down the conversations so my trackpad is working but then if I select a conversation I can't scroll on the messages again! If my trackpad works for some things, why is it not working for others! I have no idea what the problem could be. Water damage has been suggested but I don't know how this would have happened.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe trackpad on my curve 9300 keeps breaking. I cannot click or scroll at all. Normally, it's not too bad with a few attempts of taking the battery out then putting it back in, but last night, the screen went white - again - so I took the battery out and it said I had no battery though I had at least 40% on there. When I put the battery back in, and the phone began loading, the menu thing came up. I tried to click, 'unlock' and nothing happened. Seconds later, the screen went black as if the phone doesn't recognize my trackpad anymore. I am sick and tired of having a phone that doesn't work! I wouldn't be as mad if it was the first time, but the thing is, it's happened before and every time I go to the phone shop, they say 'oh, it's not our fault, we'll send it off for repair' and when I eventually get it back (2 weeks later) it works for 4 weeks, and I send it off again. I have sent the [hone of 4 times for 'repair' and each time, it takes 2 weeks; that's 8 weeks, or 2 months that I still have to pay 25 pounds in my contract for a phone that doesn't even work. That's 50 pounds wasted on the worst phone available. I got my current phone back in September (after fighting with my phone provider) and it broke in February.

I have tryed rubbing a piece or paper over it for 1-2 minutes and it is not working and i have tryed talking the battery out and putting it back in and it still isnt working. I think there might be dirt or something underneath it but im not sure. I would love for someone to give me something else to try to see if it works so I don't have to fork out to take it the shope if i could do it myself.

I rebooted and the alt key is always shown pressed rendering the device impossible to use.I would want to get a replacement option where i can go in for a better device as i have read on the internet about this being a widespread problem on all blackberry devices.Could you direct me on how to take this matter further as the blackberry service station Redington in Bangalore, India is refusing to take this up.A service probably means a hot fix which i do not want as i am sure the problem will crop up again.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWell today I had my first couple of messages from a couple of mates of mine, and I am completely confused here just how to reply to them and how you know they have been sent.The manual for the Blackberry Curve 9320 is totally wrong with how it describes to do this, and the regular features that are on every other mobile I have had such as click on something and hit the word reply does not exist on this phone from what I can see.hen I read the persons text message there is a bar underneath for you to type in, and it says press R to reply. I did this and typed something out, and as you do went and pressed the send button. But that brings up a box asking me if I want to call the person. So I thought well lets press the return key on the Qwerty Pad. So I did that, and I have no idea if its sent as I cannot find anywhere on the phone that tells you your message is sent.

Both has same BB package.Both using OS 7.1.0.258Everything identically same.Both can login to WLM.The white one cannot receive messages. Can send but cannot receive. When I send from my laptop it seems already sent but phone does not receive anything.I installed old version, it worked once, when I logout and re login, doesn't work again.Uninstalled and re installed new version, still not working.I inserted black phones sim card (which is working) to white phone. Still same problem. So it's definitely not carrier problem.Uninstalled WLM again but this time also deleted all 3 service book too. Restart phone and reinstalled wlm again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry Curve 9360 is not deleting messages from the server meaning that, after returning home from a week working away, I've still got a few hundred messages to wade through on my PC. I receive e-mails on the PC via Outlook Express. I've clicked on 'tools', 'accounts' then 'advanced' to ensure that the box for 'leave a copy of the message on the server' is unchecked i.e. messages should be being deleted from the server when prompted to by the phone but this is not happening. Not sure what else to try or perhaps there was something I did / didn't do during the set-up of the phone.
