I am facing a text scrolling issue with my 9360 in SMS as well as BBM chats. After a long chat, when I try to scroll up, the screen fails to do that, instead of that it keeps showing the time when that message was received. I am unable to read my old sms and old chats.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having trouble lately with my BB Curve in that it will decide at least once a week that it does not want to scroll down at all in the internet browser. It scrolls left and right and goes back and forth between pages just fine, loads the page just fine, but it absolutely will not scroll down! Only a reset by taking out the battery will work to let me scroll down again until the next time it decides to stop working. It doesn't seem to be a specific website I go to, either. It just doesn't want to scroll down! It isn't a critical problem, but it certainly is very annoying when I have a few tabs open and lose all my memory because I have to reset it.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had a Blackberry Curve 9360 for 3 months and all has been fine, sometimes the trackpad has been slightly wobbly but I wasn't concerned. Then this morning my 'a' key stopped working, followed by my keypad becoming very stiff during the day. Then I could only scroll across my menu but couldn't go up or down however that has stopped working now too! Now I am stuck on the search icon and can't move off it. I can type in 'text' to access my text messages and am able to scroll up and down the conversations so my trackpad is working but then if I select a conversation I can't scroll on the messages again! If my trackpad works for some things, why is it not working for others! I have no idea what the problem could be. Water damage has been suggested but I don't know how this would have happened.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a new BB 9360 and in less than a month i am facing all sorts of weird problems. The scroll wont work. I rebooted and the alt key is always shown pressed rendering the device impossible to use.I would want to get a replacement option where i can go in for a better device as i have read on the internet about this being a widespread problem on all blackberry devices.Could you direct me on how to take this matter further as the blackberry service station Redington in Bangalore, India is refusing to take this up.A service probably means a hot fix which i do not want as i am sure the problem will crop up again.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHave had the same problem on some of our Curves with the 7.1 update. They can't scroll through text message/message conversations using the trackpad. With the 9360s its fine as if we downgrade to 7.0 the problem doesn't happen, but the 9320s come with 7.1 so there isn't an option to downgrade.

I tried taking out the battery and clicking five times, it works but it broke again then that didnt work again! I also tried putting a piece of tissue between the sim card and the battery and it work but again when is stoped it wouldn't work again!
I have taken to battery in and out soooooo many times and I left the battery and the sim card out for the whole night and part of the day!

Last night I was able to scroll over my icons but when I stopped at the "contact" icon and pressed it (to look up a contact), my phone froze. It seems to work on the other icons (ie. bbm, calendar, websearch, email etc) only the adress book seems to freeze my mouse. Each time it happens I have to turn the entire phone off and re-boot. It has happened at least 3 times today already!! Is there some solution I can use to maybe clean the mouse?
