I've had my phone nearly a year and constantly the trackpad keeps Freezing I have tried cleaning it,left battery and sim card out I've tried loads of things. Recently it has froze since Tuesday. I am getting very annoyed. It clicks but does not scroll and gas worked like s tiny bit like scrolling down 1 space.
View 1 RepliesI have had my bold 9000 since it was released and lately the scroll ball has been a pain it wont let me scroll down. I`ve cleaned it with alcohol also put the phone on its face on a flat surface rolled it around it that way. any other ideas?

View 1 Replies View RelatedA few weeks ago I was on my phone and it was dying, I went to get the charger but it had already died. I plugged it in and turned it on but the scroller wouldn't move. It would click but no matter what I tried it wouldn't move. I looked it up and it said it needed to be wiped, so stupidly I wiped my phone. But still, nothing. It would just click. Now, it's stuck on terms and conditions and non-usable. I've had to use my old blackberry which is falling apart I tried looking again online to see if there was any other solutions and I came across one saying that the software needed to be update.

Also when I hold the lock key ( the * key) it goes right into standby mode and I have to use the mute key to get it out of standby.This happened about two days ago when I noticed the ALT function seemed to be stuck on even though the button was not stuck in any way.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having trouble lately with my BB Curve in that it will decide at least once a week that it does not want to scroll down at all in the internet browser. It scrolls left and right and goes back and forth between pages just fine, loads the page just fine, but it absolutely will not scroll down! Only a reset by taking out the battery will work to let me scroll down again until the next time it decides to stop working. It doesn't seem to be a specific website I go to, either. It just doesn't want to scroll down! It isn't a critical problem, but it certainly is very annoying when I have a few tabs open and lose all my memory because I have to reset it.

I tried taking out the battery and clicking five times, it works but it broke again then that didnt work again! I also tried putting a piece of tissue between the sim card and the battery and it work but again when is stoped it wouldn't work again!
I have taken to battery in and out soooooo many times and I left the battery and the sim card out for the whole night and part of the day!
Every button on my phone is frozen and all i can do is scroll up and down, there is no water damage to it and all i can do is take the battery out. Its has done it twice previously but not for as long as it has this time

Last night I was able to scroll over my icons but when I stopped at the "contact" icon and pressed it (to look up a contact), my phone froze. It seems to work on the other icons (ie. bbm, calendar, websearch, email etc) only the adress book seems to freeze my mouse. Each time it happens I have to turn the entire phone off and re-boot. It has happened at least 3 times today already!! Is there some solution I can use to maybe clean the mouse?

I dropped my blackberry in water but there was no damage to it, but now when I explain it to my network provider they think it's because of the water damage. View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a Blackberry Curve 9360 for 3 months and all has been fine, sometimes the trackpad has been slightly wobbly but I wasn't concerned. Then this morning my 'a' key stopped working, followed by my keypad becoming very stiff during the day. Then I could only scroll across my menu but couldn't go up or down however that has stopped working now too! Now I am stuck on the search icon and can't move off it. I can type in 'text' to access my text messages and am able to scroll up and down the conversations so my trackpad is working but then if I select a conversation I can't scroll on the messages again! If my trackpad works for some things, why is it not working for others! I have no idea what the problem could be. Water damage has been suggested but I don't know how this would have happened.

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday arrived the BB 9320 that i take with my carrier in Italy (Vodafone IT).I started it but when the phone arrive at home page there is a problem: the menu not scroll down, all the page not scroll down.I clicked on the bar over the icon and this open the big menu with all the icon: at screen there are 3 lines of icon, but down the third there are other two, but when i go down with the selection the other lines not scroll up, so i can't see the other lines of menu.Other situation: i open for example the option menu, in the lower right corner there is a little arrow with the tip pointing downwards to indicate that the page continues, so i scroll down but the page not go up so i can't see what there is under.
