BB Curve :: Keeps Freezing, Every Button Except The Scroll Up And Down?
Jul 24, 2011Every button on my phone is frozen and all i can do is scroll up and down, there is no water damage to it and all i can do is take the battery out. Its has done it twice previously but not for as long as it has this time

Feb 16, 2012I have had my curve 8530 for about a year and a half. I do quite a bit of texting and bbm'ing. Last night I was able to scroll over my icons but when I stopped at the "contact" icon and pressed it (to look up a contact), my phone froze. It seems to work on the other icons (ie. bbm, calendar, websearch, email etc) only the adress book seems to freeze my mouse. Each time it happens I have to turn the entire phone off and re-boot. It has happened at least 3 times today already!! Is there some solution I can use to maybe clean the mouse?

Jul 6, 2012I bought a new BB 9360 and in less than a month i am facing all sorts of weird problems. The scroll wont work. I rebooted and the alt key is always shown pressed rendering the device impossible to use.I would want to get a replacement option where i can go in for a better device as i have read on the internet about this being a widespread problem on all blackberry devices.Could you direct me on how to take this matter further as the blackberry service station Redington in Bangalore, India is refusing to take this up.A service probably means a hot fix which i do not want as i am sure the problem will crop up again.

Oct 16, 2010Just recently, when I go online on my BlackBerry Curve (not sure of the #, but I have a scroll button and not a trackball), I can't push the scroll button to select things. For example, I couldn't get help for the problem on my phone, because when I typed in my question, I couldn't hit the serach button to ask it!
Most links I am able to select by clicking the menu button and selecting "open link", but that doesn't work on submitting information like username/password on blogger or my bank or anything.

Mar 6, 2010I did an OS update from my computer and when that didn't work pushed a complete wipe and reinstall with JL_Cmder. That sorted out the WSOD issues however the trackpad will now only work as a push button and not to scroll. I sent it off to be looked at by my carrier and they said water damage but I'm 100% certain it's not having looked at the parts myself as well as having been ridiculously careful with it: basically just think they are trying to avoid a replace on warranty!

Apr 9, 2012My wife has a curve 8520. when she tries to use the browser to sign in to yahoo email she fills in her userid and password but the sign in button dosn't work, nothing happens when she clicks it does she have to enable something in the browser configuration? she doesn't have a Blackberry data plan as yet so we realise she can't use BBM or facebook app etc but I would have thought the browser should work as she has an internet plan.

May 19, 2011The increase (top one) volume button on the side of the phone does not work. The decrease volume button work fine. For example, I open up media player, put on an mp3, but it is too low to be able to hear so I click the volume button to increase it but it just does nothing. I have threw my Blackberry once or twice in frustration since I got it for Christmas. I imagine this might have something to do with the fault but I don't know for sure.
