BB Curve :: Unable To Push The Button But It Wont Scroll?
May 13, 2012few weeks ago my blackberry scroller didnt want to work anymore, I was able to push the button but it wont scroll.

BB Bold 9700 :: Trackpad - OS Update - WSOD - Push Button And Not Scroll
Mar 6, 2010I did an OS update from my computer and when that didn't work pushed a complete wipe and reinstall with JL_Cmder. That sorted out the WSOD issues however the trackpad will now only work as a push button and not to scroll. I sent it off to be looked at by my carrier and they said water damage but I'm 100% certain it's not having looked at the parts myself as well as having been ridiculously careful with it: basically just think they are trying to avoid a replace on warranty!

Feb 16, 2012I have had my curve 8530 for about a year and a half. I do quite a bit of texting and bbm'ing. Last night I was able to scroll over my icons but when I stopped at the "contact" icon and pressed it (to look up a contact), my phone froze. It seems to work on the other icons (ie. bbm, calendar, websearch, email etc) only the adress book seems to freeze my mouse. Each time it happens I have to turn the entire phone off and re-boot. It has happened at least 3 times today already!! Is there some solution I can use to maybe clean the mouse?

Feb 13, 2010Last night my phone froze. I took the battery out and reset it. I put the batter back in. It turns back on and does the security verifying and then shows the main screen. The issue is that i try to scroll through the applications and it does not respond. I cannot dial numbers or anything. It just stay on the main screen. When I pulled the batter I notice that there is a red line on the white part near the pickups on the battery.

Oct 16, 2010Just recently, when I go online on my BlackBerry Curve (not sure of the #, but I have a scroll button and not a trackball), I can't push the scroll button to select things. For example, I couldn't get help for the problem on my phone, because when I typed in my question, I couldn't hit the serach button to ask it!
Most links I am able to select by clicking the menu button and selecting "open link", but that doesn't work on submitting information like username/password on blogger or my bank or anything.

Apr 23, 2012I use a BB 8520, and often use BBM or What's App. If the screen goes to sleep, I just hit the spacebar, or any other key and it wakes the phone, but leaves it where it was - ie, BBM chat. If I was using whatsapp on the iphone 4s and the screen went to sleep through lack of use, how would I wake the phone, but leave it in Whatsapp (so I don't have to go to the homescreen again, click what's app, and click the conversation)? I use it A LOT - so if I do have to hit home button, then what's app, then convo..... rather than just one button to wake where it was, that would be very very annoying!

BB Bold 9700 :: Is Your Lock Button Hard To Push?
Jan 12, 2010So all of a sudden I find myself having to push pretty hard to lock the phone. Not sure if It was dropped and something happened but I remember being able to tap the top of the phone with ease, just like the mute button on the right side, now there is a very noticeable difference.Anybody having this issue? Believe me that although there are many dual sim mobiles in the market yet I keep wait for the nokia's dual sim mobile. I bought it and bring this phone to my home. First its display quality disappointed me, as in the same range other brand have good quality display, yet I was ready to compramise with display quality. But I totally frustrated when I am unable to scroll the list item using my finger on touch screen. The scroller won't work. I restarted the mobile and even remove the battery and then I again restart my mobile after putting the battery again. I totally disappointend and curse myself on the decision of buying This nokia product.
