I can still scroll around the screen with it, but when I push it to "select" it does nothing. Jun 22, 2011Just bought the nokia E7. Well had little problems with it but have been solving them bit by bit.The problem that I haven't solved yet is that when locking the phone and creating the password to unlock it, it doesn't seem to work.
I touch the power button to lock and it locks. A screen with number appears so that I can put the password and selecting any number or even pressing cancel unlocks the phone.

Jan 5, 2011I usually notice when browsing the web as I use the back button to navigate back but can happen in any app. It will be working fine one second and then I try to go back after browsing a page it doesn't do anything. A quick flip of the keyboard in and back out and its fine again.

Sep 1, 2014My iphone 5 screen just stopped responding to any touch stimuli. The home button works, and Siri works, but I cannot use the screen at all. Also, my lock button hasn't worked in a few months, so I've been using Assistive Touch to lock and power down my phone. I was hoping to try to reset my phone (home+lock) and see if that worked the screen issue, but I can't find a way to power down. Any tips? Should I restore the phone with iTunes? Or is this the end of the line for my phone?

Aug 27, 2012Yesterday the keyboard started to do strange things: when I'm writing text messages it skips some letters it starts automatically to cancel all I have wrote without I have pushed "del"sometimes it automatically locks and no one key can remove the lockI already tried to remove and replace the battery but the problem still remain.

Apr 9, 2012My wife has a curve 8520. when she tries to use the browser to sign in to yahoo email she fills in her userid and password but the sign in button dosn't work, nothing happens when she clicks it does she have to enable something in the browser configuration? she doesn't have a Blackberry data plan as yet so we realise she can't use BBM or facebook app etc but I would have thought the browser should work as she has an internet plan.

I consequently have to take out my battery and restart the phone to get the keypad unlocked. BB Bold :: 9700 Keyboard And Lock Button Has Now Stopped Working
Apr 19, 2012I have a Blackberry Bold 9700 which was replaced under warranty in January this year. T mobile told me that they could not repair the old one and therefore it was replaced with a new one - the keyboard and lock button has now stopped working on this some of the time meaning it can't be used as I cannot unlock it. Despite the fact that it was only brand new in January as the contract is over 2 years now they say there is no warranty on it but speak to Blackberry can't find any other way of doing this?

Mar 23, 2011So I updated my Curve to the new version 5. I noticed that there was no more Keyboard Lock/Password Lock. From my previous software, it was named Keyboard Lock and I set it as one of my convenience keys. After the update, I noticed that it no longer existed. A friend of mine purchased a brand new Curve 8520 with the update already installed of course. She had the Keyboard Lock but it was named Password Lock instead. I have been searching for ways to get this feature back to my Blackberry because I feel it is more convenient rather than the "silent/mute mode" button located on the top of my device. Apr 23, 2012Have updated the firmware version a few days ago. It was running on 4.X(?) and updated to 5.1.
2 days ago, que screen misunderstood some touchs, and yesterday the first row of the keyboard, when in vertical orientation, just stop working.
Had to restore, in order to access the phone, once I couldn't type the password (althogh all keys worked well on emergency call).
Now, keyboard is fully functional in horizontal orientation, but the first row doesn't work on vertical.
More information: the screen has been replaced and it has emoji installed.

Dec 17, 2015I just got my Lumia 950 Dual Sim (2 days back) and so far I loved the features and appearance. However, I am getting frustrated with the continuous reboots and on-screen keyboard issues.
When I am trying to type in whats app or Skype (I havent tested other apps yet), the keyboard hangs and then it goes down. I have to keep clicking on the message space and then after a while either it comes up works for sometime and goes down again (unresponsive) or the phone gets restarted. I need to say that I am a bit frustrated with this as this is happening with a frequency of less than 2 minutes. I tried the basic troubleshooting steps of soft reset (volume down + power), but still same.

Sep 1, 2012I'm currently facing this problem and it's really annoying. I never update my phone or whatever because it will slow it down.
My phone went out of battery and it turned off. So i plug the charger in and waited for it to restart. After restarting it, I realize there are several settings that ran away IE: My ringtone preferences and keyboard preferences. So far, I've already readjust it, But ever since the phone restarted like that, I can no longer lock my screen, not even if it times out itself after 15 seconds. and when i press and hold the power off button, instead of showing the menu for options like "Silent phone"/Flight mode"/"Shut down" it only shows power off. What can i do to get the original settings back ?

Because of this problem I cant turn my device off when i want, mute calls or lock it. I tried resetting my iPhone, every setting goes to default but my lock button keeps making screenshots. My lock button and my home button work perfectly its just the fact that the lock button doesnt perform his job, it screenshots as my home button is pressed but im not touching it at all. A hypotesis can be that my home button is actually pressed all the time but when i use it to exit apps, it works normally. Â

Apr 8, 2015I've recently had my phone reset to factory settings. I've gone through and installed all my apps etc back on to it and updated the software to the current build (all stock, and not rooted).
I have had 2 issues with it, the first being not being notified of emails from the gmail app - sync was ticked, as were the relevant labels...still didn't get any notifications through. I read somewhere that if downloaded the gear app (for smart watches) it would resolve it - it has seemed to, even uninstalled the app and I'm still receiving notifications.
The 2nd issue is around the fingerprint lock. If i leave my phone to time out, the fingerprint scanner lock works as it should do. If I lock the phone with the power button, it bypasses the fingerprint scanner and only locks it with a swipe.
Before updating / factory reset it worked as it should do.
