 It seems Xperia Keyboard update (6.6.A.0.30) has been released. I found it on Play Store, but there is no update nor install button for me to update it.Â

I'm on D6653 and 5.0.2, and Xperia Keyboard version 6.6.A.0.12.
Just got my M8 Friday and I absolutely love it so far. However, both me and my husband have tried tirelessly to find how to search Google, or the Play Store, or other places in the phone with a search bar. We came from the Droid Razr (talk about an upgrade!) and that had a "GO" button to tell Google to search more than just the drop-down, suggested searches results. Is there anything on the M8 that is equivalent - to make Google actually search what you typed in, rather than having to choose from suggestions (which usually aren't what you want)?

however is that the phone does not appear in my device listing in the Play Store when I access it on a computer, or on Android Device Manager when I access it from a computer or from the phone itself! I can access the Play Store just fine from the phone, but cannot install apps from a computer. From the Play Store or ADM I can see my Nexus 7 and my old phone, but not the Nexus 5. The phone is set up with the same Google account as the other devices.
My phone is rooted and I've recently went to the boot menu and restarted everything from scratch. Now Imy starting over and I can't load the play store. It says I have no connection when I am clearly connected to the Internet.

I can still scroll around the screen with it, but when I push it to "select" it does nothing. The button works normally when I have the keyboard put away so this seems like a software problem or setting I have wrong
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy 8520's keyboard has started to play up.It wont send with the enter button on BBM.If I dont lock it and the screen goes black, i have to hold either the power button or the middle button to get the screen back.My alt button wont let me hold and type, I have to press it individually for each different symbol or letter.I've restored my whole phone but no difference.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI usually notice when browsing the web as I use the back button to navigate back but can happen in any app. It will be working fine one second and then I try to go back after browsing a page it doesn't do anything. A quick flip of the keyboard in and back out and its fine again.

I am using my new paid copy of ps mobile suite and they play(do far) pretty good on the vita( still a few bugs to work out) but on my xperia play when I try to play them for some reason my xperia keeps trying to access the ps storeWhich isn't a problem . The problem is that I bought the xperia play remanufactured as a test device only but then decided to activate it anyway. So my problem is that when I try to access the ps store I get a 8008104D error. Now I know that this error is because my xperia isn't telling the network that it's an xperia, but it obviously is. So would this be something missing from the framework res.apk or could it be something else? I have Redlands the phone using the update tool, rooted it, all ps certified and xperia certified .jar and all .xml files are in their proper folders as far as I can tell. Why would my expedia be telling the ps store that it isn't an xperia?

The first thing i noticed was the Play Store having been replaced with Android Market. I assumed it would prompt for an update automatically, but it simply wouldn't. I don't see option for an update.
I want to keep the Gingerbread and not update to ICS, but i need to Play Store. How can i get it?
Also the current Android Market won't let me download anything. It cues the apps for download but never really downloads anything.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSony Experia play, the home/standby button will still send the phone to standby but it will not wake the phone, i had to use the slide to activate the phone from sleep but now that has stop working. The phone is on and somebody can ring or text (Rings and vibrates) but the screen does not respond. Once in a blue moon it will work fine, then other times i can sit for 20 minutes pressing and sliding for the phone and screen to wake up. I have tried factory reset etc but to no avail.

Thinking it was a software issue, I took the battery out and put it back in again, but now the phone won't turn on, as said button is not working.
